An Italian Fully Loaded, Philly Cheese Steak, & Chicken Parmigiana Supremo Hoagies W/Pickle and hot peppers.

Honestly didn't know what to expect. I've been let down a few times foodwise by other places being that I had super high expectations since I am coming from California and hearing all the hype about Philly Food. Well, PrimoHoagies brought it! They exceeded my expectations plus their Dirt Pudding, wrapped pickles, and Mozzi Balls are those extra touches that make the orders go over the top with a chef's kiss. Needless to say, I highly recommend PrimoHoagies if you're in the area. It's worth the 3,000+ mile trip for me. The staff "Ron & Briana" are awesome they sold me, not to mention Briana's photos are the main reason I came in 1st place. Kudos!!! Check my profile, I'm a California Guy who just so happened to visit my work in Coatesville. I'm sending sandwiches home from here because words will never do this experience justice. This being my 1st ever visit to Pennsylvania, PrimoHoagies made it something to remember.

Seating is a little tight, but it is charming and unique with several small rooms, and a lovely water fountain inside. Our server was excellent -- friendly, attentive, and accurate. Water glasses stayed filled. The menu offers a good variety, with something for everyone. I appreciated how the dishes were in Italian but explained in English. After our warm complimentary bread, we shared the Fried Calamari appetizer, which was nice. For our meals, my husband got the Petto Di Pollo Parmigiana (chicken parm). It was served with penne, which was good but a little bit odd; he would've preferred a spaghetti-type noodle. I got the Spaghettini Alle Vongole Olio Aglio E Peperoncino (capellini with clams). It was absolutely swimming in oil, but otherwise no complaints. Ultimately everything was hot and so delicious. For dessert hubs got the Torta Di Marscapone Al Limondcello and I got the Tartufo Al Cappuccino. Both very yummy! The pacing of the meal was enjoyable -- not rushed, but we didn't have to wait too long for any course. Prices were surprisingly reasonable and portions were perfect. Overall we had a wonderful experience and hope to go back!

Get the tiramisu and ask for an espresso martini (not on menu) - perfect combo! I'd go back tomorrow just for these three items. 4.6 stars - Pollo Rothschild - was a perfect, not too heavy dish with really great flavors. 4.3 stars - Vitello con Porcini - Solid dish but lacked just a little bit of flavor. Unfortunately, didn't love the artichoke. It tasted burnt and without a lot of flavor. Wine: Montepulciano - fantastic, got a bottle and would happily get another Service: Waitress well-informed on all dishes and history of the restaurant. She was direct and a straight shooter and kept our wine glass fullWater cup never empty. Ambiance: It's a cute and quaint place. No bar. They could use some table candle lights to make it a bit more romantic. They had no real lighting fixtures to help set the scene. It was clean. We would try to sit outside if the weather was good. Order a bunch of things and watch everyone swoon. The food is rustic, but also at the same time can be dainty and super flavorful. I love the atmosphere in this restaurant, and I've always enjoyed every bite I've had, whether it's the Shakshuka or Casoncelli with veal, golden raisin, amaretti, parmesan (my favorite go to) see many pictures. Occasionally, you can find chicken liver pâté on the menu, and I've always enjoyed their fish. The Branzino is spectacular, but don't miss out on the Crudo in the antipasto section. Last time I was there, I tried the focaccia bread with ricotta--don't miss it! The food is New York-worthy, absolutely delicious. A few other standouts over my past experiences have been.- yummy appetizer size pizza, delicious meat, mushroom, gnocchi, handmade, pastas, wonderful simple salads, and the crispy potatoes are delicious as well. I've also tried the Arancini, which is the best I've ever had. OK, I'm officially gushing, but this is how I feel about this restaurant!

There is an older man and woman (who I think are the owners). They're both just miserable. He'll at least thank me for my business, but she-- good lord it's like she's doing me a favor and absolutely annoyed at my buying food from them. I've shared that with friends who go there and we all have the same stiff interactions. They have good italian food - have tried several things and their pizzas - good, fresh crust and I think they have one of the better sauces around. But money is tighter than ever and it would be nice to be treated as a valued customer, not an interruption or annoyance. I think the clincher for me this time was the italian hoagie I ordered. It was bizarre from packaging (non-recyclable styrofoam container over paper wrap) to a hoagie made by someone that clearly knows nothing about hoagies - Wawa does a better job. I asked for oil and vinegar - and they didn't put it on the roll which is traditional. So when I picked it up all this oil came spilling out of the sandwich because they put it on the meat and cheese. And I tasted no vinegar. The tomatoes weren't sliced, as is tradition, but diced. That's just a sin in hoagie etiquette. Same with the onion. I took the whole thing apart when I got home, got out my own vinegar and olive oil out, and made it the right way. The roll was good.
