5/5!!! This restaurant has been on my radar for the longest time. Such a special Roman Jewish meal. I felt a familiarity after traveling to Italy and also growing up Jewish. I was right at home with these classic meals with a unique twist. We started with the Antipasto della Casa. A combo of artichokes, homemade mozzarella, chickpea salad, calamari fritti, and smoked salmon. What they don't tell you is the salmon is house cured!! Amazing, and not overly salty like most cured salmon. I put it on top of the homemade matzoh they offer at the beginning of the meal. The homemade mozz was delish. Everything was just so good and fresh. For dinner: Matzagna - Lasagna made with a Bechamel sauce and artichokes. No pasta here. Made with the homemade matzoh. Very delicious. Creamy and melt in your mouth. Loved the parm. Dentice con Pinoli e Uva Passita - Red snapper with pine nuts, raisins, and balsamic vinegar. The fish was so juicy and this was a nice combo of salt sweet. Amazing portions, reasonable prices, fresh tasty food. Water was always flowing and service was accommodating. Cannot wait to return.

The very best Italian restaurant in the Wayne area by far. The dishes are simple but amazing......using in season fresh ingredients. The different sauces the chef creates for the dishes are insanely delicious!!!!.....when in the neighborhood, this is one restaurant you don't want to miss!!!!!

Last night my husband and I stopped in for dinner. This was my second time at Tiramisu but my first for dinner (I had been for brunch years before but I don't believe they serve it anymore). Wow, this place really is the best kept secret on the Main Line. We came on a Thursday so were able to bring our own bottle of wine (BYOB Sun-Thurs with $5 corkage fee). We started with the antipasto sampler as a way to try a few different items. This included calamari (very good), mozzarella (good), smoked salmon (excellent), chickpea salad (excellent) and their artichokes (phenomenal). I just have to note that the artichokes were some of the best I've ever had!!! For dinner my husband had the veal parm and I had the truffle fettuccini. Both dishes were AMAZING. I truly cannot wait to come back and try more dishes because they were so impressive. What's even more impressive than the food is that this place is run by a husband and wife and since every restaurant is short staffed right now, it really is just about them and one other person taking care of the restaurant. Despite business being a little slower than usual due to the pandemic and being short staffed, the quality of the food is outstanding! We'll be back!!

Best Italian restaurant around!!!....we heard about this place from friends and how much they enjoyed the food. We decided to try it for ourselves and they were right!!!....easily the best Italian restaurant on the Main Line. The food is kept simple, just as I remember it in Italy, letting the fresh, quality ingredients speak for themselves. We plan on returning very soon to try some of their other mouth watering dishes!!!

[568] We decided to come here based on all the great reviews and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is on a busy road but has plenty of parking behind back. The inside is nicely decorated and has a very warm and cozy feel. It has two separate rooms which helps the place feel cozy. We visited on a Sunday evening during the playoffs so it was not busy. We did make reservations which I would definitely do on a Friday or Saturday. We were given toasted bread and matzo crackers which were so tasty that we had a second serving. Today's soup was Pasta Fagoli and it was amazing. The bowl was huge and it could have been a meal by itself. My friend had the salad and it was huge and looked very fresh. I decided to have risotto but I wanted it with chicken breast. It was not a problem and I'm so glad they accommodated me as the combo was amazing. The dish was huge and I took half home as left overs. My friends both ate the lobster ravioli which looked divine. They both enjoyed their meals and ate every bite. Of course there is room for dessert on girls night :) I had the Tiramisu (of course). It was a nice big slice and definitely tasty. I ended up packing half of it to go home. My friends had the roman cheesecake which they enjoyed. They said it reminded them of tres leches cake. We definitely did not feel rushed after our meal so we sat around a bit. It was a perfect experience all around. I'll definitely be back.

Steak - cooked medium well despite being asked to be medium :/

Small, cute location with what I assumed would be delicious food. Unfortunately, the servers were not amenable to changes asked of them - substituting something like polenta or vegetables for pasta, etc. I made the mistake of ordering their steak and asked for it to be medium. It was medium well at a minimum and inedible. Despite being one of eight people at the restaurant, it took them over an hour to bring the food out. I'm not sure where the errors lie but the slow service along with food cooked to improper standards along with over cooked vegetables make Tiramisu not worth the cost at all. There are many other restaurants in the area that have better service, food, and cost. I'd recommend going elsewhere. I'm really really disappointed with my experience here.

Quite honestly, I came to this restaurant without any major expectations. I literally was just hoping for a decent pasta dish for the night. On a snowy night, the parking lots was covered in salt. The entrance had a white sheet on the ground to soak up water. And then we enter the room was dimly lit, with old Italian paintings, and wine bottles as decor. It looked like a typical run down Italian joint. Regardless, the waiter was a delight and we went with that he recommended. The fried artichokes were a great simple start. They very outer layer tasted a little burnt, but the inside was great. The papperdelle ricotta pasta and fettuccine with red sauce were amazing. Fresh pasta. Cooked to perfection. Light and fresh ingredients. Literally everything I needed in the form of carbs for a cold night. We ended with the tiramisu of course, which was also delicious. The food is great. The atmosphere is okay. But I think I'd come back for a night of delicious carbo-loading.

    Cacio e pepe and lamb

Stopped in again tonight. Once again, quality dinner from start to finish. Can't resist the Cacio e Pepe, so delicious in its simplicity. Husband had the lamb. Perfect with delicious vegetables. Tiramisu for dessert. Place was busy, so reservations helpful. Young daughter was serving and doing a great job! Working our way through the menu!

Very happy I finally tried Tiramisu. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was excellent. Every dish was delicious, especially the artichokes and veal piccata. I was disappointed that beef carpaccio was not ready, but happy they didn't try to serve me something that should not have been served. I will definitely be back.

    The Tiramisu of course!

They had a reservation and arrived on time. The girls were polite, respectful, and ate their food, but didn't finish everything because the portions were large. When the waitress offered boxes, they declined. The hostess questioned about why they "didn't like the food" and proceeded to yell at the waitress next to their table, which embarrassed the girls. Then, Less than an hour after their reservation began, they texted me that they were almost finished and to come pay the bill, which is what wr had agreed on. They texted me three separate times, over 12 minutes. The first text when they finished eating, the second when the table cleared and the third when they got the bill. From the first text to my arrival was exactly 17 minutes (I have text receipts and timestamps). I arrived only 5 minutes after the bill was given but by that time, the girls had already been kicked from their table and told to wait in the back near the kitchen staff. They had only been waiting a few minutes but looked so embarrassed when I got there! I went to pay and i asked the hostess when is it ever OK to kick paying customers from their table. the standard dinner reservation is a 90-minute window. The girls had been there under an hour, and it had been 17 minutes since their plates were cleared. The hostess claimed they "needed the table," which made no sense given the timing. I replied that it's not ok to do that to the kids and they would never have treated grown adults like that. the hostess slammed the checkbook shut and told me to get out. Don't even pay just get out! So we left! When we reached the parking lot that hostess ran after us yelling that she changed her mind saying she was "tired of covering everyone's bill" and threatened to call the police. I was happy to pay and reminded her that she's the one who told us to leave! She argued the entire time with me saying the she "didn't kick them outside, just asked to wait In the back" This was humiliating for a group of respectful young girls celebrating a birthday and was completely unprofessional behavior from management. What kind of place treats their customers like this?

It's the kind of space that makes you want to settle in and keep enjoying just one more bite. This visit, I had the veal stuffed homemade pasta and the Sicilian meatballs both rich, comforting, and beautifully balanced. The pasta was tender and clearly house-made, and the meatballs were perfectly seasoned in a slow-simmered sauce full of depth. The shrimp appetizer was the standout, served with a special house-made sauce and crispy pickled cucumbers for the perfect bright contrast. Truly my favorite shrimp appetizer I've ever had. Our server, Andrea, really made the experience even better. She helped us navigate the menu and offered thoughtful suggestions that we absolutely loved. Between the food, the ambiance, and the service, Rosalie always feels like comfort done right.

The experience was a little bizarre. Their website says "Rosalie doesn't allow reservations for 1,…read moreplease just walk in". I walked in, as directed, just for a very flustered man at the front of the house to fumble with his system for a good 10 mins. Telling me there was a table, then taking it back and saying there were no tables for the night, then saying nevermind and making me a reservation for two (which I would have done if not discouraged by the website) for half an hour later. At this point I already had a very bad taste in my mouth from the level of chaos. I waited outside for my table. When I got to my table I will say my server was very nice until a strange comment came up at dessert. Once I ordered my dessert, he left and came back with two spoons, saying "I brought two spoons for us." It almost seemed implied he'd join me. I dine a lot alone, voluntarily. Most of the time it's after work and I really don't want, let alone need, company. His comment gave me anxiety as I wondered how I would politely tell this man I wanted to dine alone. When he brought the dessert he did not join me but made sure to say "I'll be back for a few bites." Maybe it was a joke but to me it was very odd and made me pretty uncomfortable. I gave three stars just for the Cacio e Pepe. It was very good. I did (without giving tmi) have a very sick stomach after the meal and the morning after so I wouldn't return just incase that was the cause. Like a said... a weird experience.
