    Wiz Fries

I ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza ($21), cheese fries with wiz ($9), chicken cheesesteak ($12) and coke ($3). The chicken bacon ranch pizza was good but arrived cold. However the cheese fries were old, greasy fries smothered in cheese wiz. They were completely inedible like they grabbed some fries from yesterday and poured cheese wiz on them. The chicken cheesesteak I ordered never arrived. They sent a beef steak instead which had stringy beef on a roll tang wasn't toasted. The coke was also $3 and they sent a 20oz instead of a 2 liter. Overall I spent $50 on this order and half was inedible.

Great experience. Owner was extremely accommodating and there's a great lunch deal. 7.50 for two slices and a drink. A whole drink not a can of soda. Amazing pizza. Tasted great.

If you like hot sauce then this is your place. We got the large Cheesesteak with Sweet and Sassy sauce. The sauce was hot. Amigo Dan likes hot and he didn't like it. My biggest complaint was the price, $17. Ironically my buddy Tim likes hot and challenges so maybe I will take him for the hot pizza challenge.

I love coming home to Saucey!! Was so nice to be able to visit my family now that they're vaccinated and one of the best parts of my visit is to hit the town and grab some pizzas from my favorite pizza shop in town

We ordered delivery from here tonight and it was a good experience. The delivery was really quick as far as pizza delivery in this area goes clocking in at about 34 minutes from order to arrival at my front door. I don't know if they were having a good night or if they are always this fast but I upped them to 4 stars just for the delivery speed. Food quality alone I would rate them as a 3, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. There are just a lot of pizza places in the area I have to compare it against that I like more, but if I was in a different area I would consider giving a 4. That being said the pizza was nice and is honestly the first thin crust pizza I've eaten that I would actually order again. The sauce was really light and had a good flavor to it, and there was just enough pepperoni so that it didn't overpower the other flavors. Overall a good experience and worth trying out if you need to scratch that pizza itch.

    Bad picture, great pie

I just reviewed their pizza on One Bite and gave them an 8.2 which is extremely high for that app. I ordered a whole pepperoni pie, well done, and it exceeded my expectations. It's deceptively thin, in a really good way, had a great crunch and the sauce is spot on. If you're looking for a thick, doughy pizza with a pound of Wisconsin mozzarella, this pizza is not for you. Aside from the pizza being really good, the owner is fantastic. Apparently, I called 50 minutes before they were open and he was still cool enough to take my order, make an excellent pizza and let me pick it up before they even opened for the day. That's the kind of business where I'll spend my money over and over again. This was my first visit and it definitely won't be my last. Personally, I think that anybody who judges pizza based on individual slices that are meant for court reporters looking for a quick bite or drunk college kids at 1 AM, should retire from giving reviews. The entitled snowflakes leaving one or two stars are hilarious. "My cinnamon knots were too "cinnamony". "Delivery took 50 minutes on a Friday night." Blah blah blah.... Order a whole pie, well done. Saucey is legit.

So we made a 4pm reservation at Joey Chops. It had always been on a list of things to visit when we are in the area. Parking is a large lot shared with various businesses. We did not have a problem locating a parking spot. Once we were parked we walked in and were seated immediately. The interior is dark in what I call a main dining area which was to the left. But to the right is the bar area and the outdoor seating. That area was bright. Could be because the door was open to the outside dining patio. The dishes were cute. The seating was comfortable. The whole aesthetic was met in many ways, even to the bathrooms. The bathrooms were large, comfortable and they offered extras like lotions and mints. Our waiter Joey was amazing. He was very attentive. The other staff were great as well. From other waiters, waitresses, kitchen staff and food runners. They were all helpful, kind and attentive. We ordered various items off the menu including dessert. I had the She Crab Soup. They had a nice take on it. I live in Virginia so it was a different taste than what I have there, but it was delicious. My son devoured his grilled Mediterranean Bronzino. He had no complaints. The portions were decent. My husband had the Prime Delmonico. He loved it and it was cooked perfectly. I over heard the table behind us thinking about ordering it as well. I almost turned around and said to order it because my husband did and loved it. But, I stayed in my lane hehe. For sides we have the lobster Mac n cheese, Brussels sprouts and the blue crab fried rice. Ok, that fried rice was pretty dang good. I was surprised by it honestly. I'd get it again. The lobster Mac n cheese had good chunks of lobster in it and it was perfectly cheesy. The Brussels sprouts had a sweet flavor to it, from the I think pomegranate glaze. It was not overly sweet, it complemented the sprouts well. Last but not least, dessert. I ordered the cheesecake cart experience. Let me just say my cheesecake expectations have gone up. Ha! My cheesecake better be wheeled out on a cart with all the toppings. The cheesecake itself was creamy and sweet. It was the first slices as well. It was fresh. The toppings were perfect, chocolate, fresh whipped cream, strawberries and a brûléed top. The bruleed topping was my go to immediately. We also had an ice cream flight. The pistachio was a fan favorite. Pricing was on point and expected for this type of establishment. I honestly feel the food and presentation meet the cost. We will definitely be returning.

We sat for dinner tonight and had Craig as our server. It was not crazy busy on a Tuesday night. We always love the quality of food. My husband had the filet mignon and I had the seafood ravioli. Both were amazing. We spilt the chopped salad and could not believe they charged $1.00 for splitting the $14 salad between the two of us. Really? After a $70 steak, you charge a splitting fee? The principle does not sit well with us. The service, unfortunately, was not what I expect. He did get tables all at once, which I understand, but we felt like our table of 'only' two was a burden. I really do not like leaving a restaurant feeling like that. All in all, the food is always amazing from a taste perspective. The bar experience for a couple cocktails is also always great. They really need to work on the service aspect in the restaurant. Customers should never feel like a burden. We do love the ambiance in general and the quality of food has not disappointed.

The manager had reached out to me on OpenTable and offered to send me a gift certificate to encourage me to come back, so we did that last night and our experience was AMAZING and truly one of the best meals we've ever had even with some of the sides, not being our favorite. We happened to have an entire area of the restaurant to ourselves and our waiter was attentive, gave great recommendations and was friendly. I had a piña colada sangria and a glass of sweet riesling, both of which were excellent. My boyfriend had two old fashions which he also really enjoyed. Once again, we were blown away by the appetizers. The crab dip is probably one of the best things you can get here. The grilled Caesar had excellent flavor and the shrimp were a good size. They were offering a special Wagyu steak that evening, which I decided to get and my boyfriend had the 12 ounce New York strip. This was my first time having Wagyu and it was cooked perfectly, medium rare to my liking and just melted in my mouth. We also ordered sides of plump crab meat so that we could top our steak with it, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and shredded brussels sprouts with bruschetta. While the mac & cheese and shredded Brussels left more to be desired, it didn't lessen our dining experience in the least. We ended dinner by sharing a delicious crème brûlée served with a biscotti (not picture because we ate it too fast!) If it hadn't been for the manager Michael teaching out to let me know he heard my feedback and offering a gift certificate to dine with them again, we probably wouldn't have come back, given this is about a 45 minute drive from the city. But I can honestly say that this experience completely changed our view of the restaurant and we will definitely be returning for future celebrations.

We definitely over-ordered but told plenty home for leftovers. For appetizers we ordered the pork belly bao buns and the Thai salad with shrimp. These are more entree size so be forewarned. The bao buns came in a taco server and had three buns filled with plenty of pork and a spicy aioli. The Thai salad came with 5 nicely charred shrimp and a Napa salad. This ate a little dry-I would have appreciated a bit more dressing- but I can see where more dressing might have made this a bit soggy. We would definitely order these again For entrees, we tried the burger and the chicken pot pie. The burger was a double patty with cheese, pickled onion, and a mayo based sauce on a sesame bun. I have to say I was happy to see that they opted out of the usual sad lettuce and anemic tomato that is typical of early spring. I think it was lacking some salt as it was missing something but overall was ok and served with crispy shoestring fries. The pot pie was topped with some puffed pastry and had a nice velvety sauce with hints of tarragon. Very nice. My dining partner finished my burger and took most of the pot pie and the side salad that came with it home. Even though my dining partner couldn't finish his regular entree, he wanted dessert. After looking at the choices the server suggested the seasonal dessert which was beignets with whipped cream, chocolate and strawberries. I was reticent but was happy with the choice because the chocolate dipping sauce (of which there was plenty ) was DELICIOUS! The beignets were fried puff pastry or croissant dough that one dipped in the warm chocolate fudge-y ganache and/or whipped cream. I ordered coffee which paired well with the dessert and it was delightfully fresh. Service was good, friendly and attentive. Decor is industrial farmhouse. Clientele consists of workers from the local courthouse up to about 6 pm when we saw families starting to file in. Nice place, good food, good value.

Our server was attentive to other tables seated after us who received their desserts before our entrees. Not one table check-in before, during or after the meal. Had to actually get up out of the seat to make sure the drink order was understood and it was right because the server did not seem to understand. Maybe that put the server off. We also flagged down other servers for assistance during the meal and even for ordering dessert. It took a long time to take payment for our bill. We almost got up to pay at the bar. Thus the crap shoot gamble at La Sponda. Atmosphere a 2.5 star. Loud atmosphere with a heavy metal music rotation. Good music, just not for this dinner atmosphere. Overall a 2.5-star on the strength of the food. We will not be back. Spending the money I did, even though the food is good at La Sponda, I don't want to risk a bad service experience again there.
