Super disappointed in my experience here. The 2 stars is because they are open super late (I think until 2 am?) I am a night owl and so happy to find a place open past midnight, as most places that were before covid are no longer open past that. I am a small business owner, and my motto has always been "if you have a bad experience, reach out to the owner / manager first (before writing a review) and give them the chance to make it right, and if you had a great experience, TELL EVERYONE!" Well, I did that. I called and left a voice mail with my name and phone number and description of the issues with my take out, and.... absolutely NO RESPONSE. I waited a few weeks before writing this so I could be thoughtful and objective. SO.... I really was craving a cheese-steak hoagie while working late in my office one night. I had a few donation items to drop off to the SPCA over in West Chester, so I figured I'd patronize one of my patient's businesses (Lorenzo's steaks). I looked up "Lorenzo's", and it said they were open until 2 am, so I headed there. Unfortunately, the Lorenzo's that came up was actually a different one.... Lorenzo's Pizza. I never realized there were 2 with similar names! The pizza place only had pizza, and the Lorenzo's I wanted to patronize had already closed. So I found Saucey's that was open late, and decided to give them a try. I ordered around $70 worth of food. The order process was painful. I think the slim girl at the register must have been new, because the heavier girl that was doing the cooking had to come up and give her instructions on how to enter the requested toppings for my chicken cheesesteak hoagie. I ordered that, plus another sandwich for my son, and a few deserts.... they have fried Oreos and fried Zebra cakes... both things my son and husband would love. I ordered this as take out. I was VERY specific about my sandwich, even asking for extra lettuce, as well as the standard mayo, onions and tomatoes. The girl in the back that came up was both cooking and using her fingers on the register, then back to cooking with no gloves or handwashing in between, and seemed really grumpy that I was asking for something that was not specifically on their menu. (There were a ton of college kids in there at the time, some obviously drunk, and it was pretty hot out, so perhaps that's why she was so grumpy, but still, don't take it out on customers.) I got all the way back to Malvern, and guess what? Plain chicken cheese steak, with no other toppings. Just boring. Not even any ketsup! My son's sandwich was just ok. The fried stuff was actually pretty disgusting, obviously cooked in oil because it was pretty dark and had that "old oil" taste. I called just to let them know, so they could be more careful in the future. I wasn't even really expecting anything as reimbursement, or replacement, since I didn't feel like driving all the way back there and struggling to find parking, and I really don't get to WC very often. But at least an acknowledgement and apology with intent to do better would have gone a long way. I do not recommend Saucey's and I won't be going back. read more

Usually I love saucey's! Cold food and they tried to give my food to someone else and when I told them that the food wasn't in there for long enough, they told me it only takes 30 seconds to warm up but my pizza was cold. The pizza was in for probably 10 seconds. The fried pickles I had were burnt. $14 down the drain. read more

I ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza ($21), cheese fries with wiz ($9), chicken cheesesteak ($12) and coke ($3). The chicken bacon ranch pizza was good but arrived cold. However the cheese fries were old, greasy fries smothered in cheese wiz. They were completely inedible like they grabbed some fries from yesterday and poured cheese wiz on them. The chicken cheesesteak I ordered never arrived. They sent a beef steak instead which had stringy beef on a roll tang wasn't toasted. The coke was also $3 and they sent a 20oz instead of a 2 liter. I ordered my pizza with half mushrooms and half pineapples. It was delicious. The crust was crunchy and flavorful and the cheese was plentiful. Saucey's is open until 10:PM. My delivery order placed at 9:15 was to arrive between 9:40 and 10:10 and it arrived ahead of schedule. Shared it with a friend that night, then ate the rest cold the next day and it tasted just as good as the night before. read more

I decided to support local businesses when I ordered my pizza. Placed the order online, said it would be here at around 9:01. Got a message from the delivery driver that they couldn't pick up the order because the doors were locked. I called the number provided by the business, and I got the answering machine for "owner.com", the website used to make their website. A few minutes later, I got a message that my order was cancelled. Bank account does not show a refund. The next day, I went in to ask them in-person what happened. Apparently they actually closed at 4pm for the Fourth of July, but neither the website nor the automated messages said anything about it, and I was able to order pizza from a store that wasn't even open. They told me to contact DoorDash to have it sorted out, except I don't even have a DoorDash account. I still don't have my refund, and it's starting to look like I never will. Thirty dollars for a Coke and cheese pizza that never existed. This level of incompetence is staggering, as is the general lack of concern for the customer. I will never order from here again. read more

If you like hot sauce then this is your place. We got the large Cheesesteak with Sweet and Sassy sauce. The sauce was hot. Amigo Dan likes hot and he didn't like it. My biggest complaint was the price, $17. Ironically my buddy Tim likes hot and challenges so maybe I will take him for the hot pizza challenge. read more

We ordered delivery from here tonight and it was a good experience. The delivery was really quick as far as pizza delivery in this area goes clocking in at about 34 minutes from order to arrival at my front door. I don't know if they were having a good night or if they are always this fast but I upped them to 4 stars just for the delivery speed. Food quality alone I would rate them as a 3, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. There are just a lot of pizza places in the area I have to compare it against that I like more, but if I was in a different area I would consider giving a 4. That being said the pizza was nice and is honestly the first thin crust pizza I've eaten that I would actually order again. The sauce was really light and had a good flavor to it, and there was just enough pepperoni so that it didn't overpower the other flavors. Overall a good experience and worth trying out if you need to scratch that pizza itch. read more

I just reviewed their pizza on One Bite and gave them an 8.2 which is extremely high for that app. I ordered a whole pepperoni pie, well done, and it exceeded my expectations. It's deceptively thin, in a really good way, had a great crunch and the sauce is spot on. If you're looking for a thick, doughy pizza with a pound of Wisconsin mozzarella, this pizza is not for you. Aside from the pizza being really good, the owner is fantastic. Apparently, I called 50 minutes before they were open and he was still cool enough to take my order, make an excellent pizza and let me pick it up before they even opened for the day. That's the kind of business where I'll spend my money over and over again. This was my first visit and it definitely won't be my last. Personally, I think that anybody who judges pizza based on individual slices that are meant for court reporters looking for a quick bite or drunk college kids at 1 AM, should retire from giving reviews. The entitled snowflakes leaving one or two stars are hilarious. "My cinnamon knots were too "cinnamony". "Delivery took 50 minutes on a Friday night." Blah blah blah.... Order a whole pie, well done. I've never tried ordering delivery from here but I know that they're good for a couple of slices after you've been out late at night. The line is always long so expect a wait. If you want to, try to leave the bars a little before their closing time and head over, but even then we still had to wait outside (as the line was already long). read more

The rating is for food only. I feel an update is necessary. My husband heated up his roast beef sandwich in the microwave the following day. He said it was excellent. Every bit as good as Nicks. This is the WC go-to for drunk pizza. Located conveniently near high street (around the corner for Barnaby's) and only a short walk from the other local bars, this place is one of the few that stay open until 3A so you can grab a slice before you call it a night. Always open to try new pizza places, I ordered a large sausage pizza for delivery. Delivery was fine, came hot and in a reasonable amount of time. My issue is with the pizza. Was literally tissue paper thin. Now, I like thin pizza, but I felt like I didn't get my money's worth. Also, as I mentioned, we ordered a sausage pizza, and I am not exaggerating when I say there was probably a max of 2 pieces of sausage on each slice. Wasn't terrible pizza other than that. Guys are not permitted to use the word "saucy" to describe things. We can call someone "sauced", but most males don't have the flair to include "saucy" in our vocab. Luckily, Saucey the restaurant allows us to re-claim the word, so long as we don't use it as an adjective. Now, there are things I've come to expect from sell-by-the-slice pizza joints. Let's see how Saucey does: 1) Open late - Well, their site says they're open til 3am on the weekends, but they smartly remained open late on St. Patty's day. Check. 2) Cheap prices - $2.25 a slice. I was expecting the $3 range. Check. 3) Wacky ass flavors - A few standouts. I was pretty afraid of how a honey mustard pizza would taste. I tried a cheesesteak and 420 (formerly known as "garbage") slice. Cheesesteak was pretty good; better than the 420, which was topped with fries, mozzarella sticks, and chicken fingers. Clever name at least. Check. I love these kinds of places, and Saucey holds it down pretty well. I'd like to see more crazy toppings, but what they do have is good. read more

The only good thing was the fast delivery time about 15 minutes on a Saturday night at 8. Got cheese fries cheese was watery not cheese wiz. Fries were soggy and half empty container. As for the pizza we got buffalo chicken. More grease than hot sauce and basically 2 thin pieces of chicken chopped up on a LARGE $18 pizza. It was not cheap at all $18 pizza which was basically a plain pie and $6 cheese fries. read more

Our food took an hour and 15 mins when it said it would only be 45-55 mins, then there were no garlic knots which we were charged $4 for, then I opened our pizza and there was no pepperoni which they had charged us $2.50 for. Then the driver said he'd have his boss call when he got back to the shop.... that never happened. So basically we paid $30 for a pizza that wasn't right, a soda, and garlic knots that never came. Out-freaking-standing. I love everything about this place and everything I've ever eaten here. The first thing you notice is the friendly crew. They can tell when you're high and don't want to interact very much with people so they respond accordingly by getting you in and out of public asap. I always get one of their specialty pizzas and a side. I swear to god it looks like they put actual effort into the appearance as well as the taste! I don't right reviews on food places... but Saucey changes that, I've never seen more visibly high workers than when I went to order pizza here. The pizza was sub par at best featuring next to no sauce on a cardboard like crust. Theres also only two options for slices when they have a whole menu of pizza you can order from so good luck getting what you want. Even worse the business was disgusting and seemed like it hadn't seen a mop or broom in decades with dust everywhere. read more

Place is usually either out of what you ordered and they have to cancel your delivery (usually 15 min after you order it so you're starving) or the food is bland. Used to come here in college and stand in the huge line at 1am drunk off my ass and I always remembered it being really good. Sorry guys, I'm done. I literally would only go to the bars to get CBR (chicken bacon ranch) pizza on my return home. This was by far my favorite pizza in the world. I would have given it a 10/5 and have been know to eat a whole pie myself. Well I picked some up last week and noticed no tomatoes or lettuce on top. I was already home so i ate it and made a mental note that I'll make sure it's on there next time, it's been on top of CBR for the past 6 years. I go back to sauceys and request CBR. It's handed to me and I ask for the lettuce and tomatoes. He says they don't do that anymore but puts tomatoes on it. Apparently the lettuce was only purchased for that pizza and they're saving money by not putting it on top. THE CBR is the same price and it sucks now. The lettuce and tomatoes made this pizza delicious. It was like a crunchy cold treat on top. Sauceys I urge and beg you to go back to the way it was. My tastebuds miss it and my pizza loving heart is broken. I am now putting my own lettuce on top of my leftover slices, it's not the same :( please make it right!
