I didn't fell like cooking dinner tonight so I decided to get the kids a pizza. Primo Pizza is minutes away from my job so it's conveniently on the way home. This isn't my first time here and I had this pizza plenty of times before. Monday through Thursday's pizza are half of any size which is a great deal and the pizza is pretty good. I paid nine dollars for a large half cheese and pepperoni pizza. Also, it's great if you want a cheap pizza that won't break the bank. The pizza sauce is definitely flavorful and the crust is delicious. The crust is what makes a good pizza too me. The crust is buttery and has that hint of cornmeal on the crust which gives that garlic bread kind of taste. The customer service is always great and they are always nice.

Loved it, if you are looking for a NY style pizza @primopizza is the best and accesible. Loved the flavor, the crust everything about it. Will definitely go back for more first time trying it and from all pizzerias in CT. I can say this one is now my top fav

I like their calabrese pizza. Very heavy though but good flavored sausages and pepperoni White clam pizza was our least favorite. Even though it was cooked separately, it still was not that great. Would not order the clam again Overall I would probably come back for a slice if I'm in the area.

We walked in and were greeted immediately by everyone in the place as we walked by them. We were seated promptly and our waiter was helpful in introducing expectations of the style for us as first-timers. It wasn't overly crowded, the booth was in great shape, and we had plenty of space as two colleagues who enjoy pizza (sometimes fixed tables in booths can be a bit uncomfortable). We went with the benchmark, a medium cheese. It was excellent. The char was a smidge (and I mean it - barely) too much but it adds a layer of depth to any pizza. The cheese was perfectly melty, and while it looked like it might be messy, there was barely any flop. We also felt that a $20.50 medium cheese of this quality was worth the money (but a $3.75 fountain soda is mentally harder to cope with haha). But the total package price did seem fair considering! Pizza was probably an 8.3/10, service was excellent, so I'll round up to five stars!

Absolutely 5 stars -- no question about it. Hands down, The Post is the best pizza in the area, and…read moretrust me, that's not something I say lightly. As someone who hates typical Connecticut pizza and firmly believes that New York pizza is in a league of its own, I was genuinely shocked -- and impressed -- to find pizza here that rivals (and in some cases surpasses) what I used to get in the city. It's just that good. I've been ordering from this place since it was The Pizza Post, and the quality hasn't just remained consistent -- it's actually gotten better over time. The management, owner, chef, and even the delivery driver are all incredibly professional and courteous. It's clear they take pride in their product and in their service. Delivery is always lightning fast, and there's never a delivery fee -- which in this day and age is almost unheard of. Another huge plus? The gluten-free pizza I order for my wife isn't some frozen, off-the-shelf crust like most places. It's made in-house, and you can taste the difference. She loves it, and honestly, I've stolen a few slices and couldn't even tell it was gluten free. The ambience is exactly what you'd want from a great local spot -- a classic, no-frills mom-and-pop pizza joint where the focus is on the food and the community. If you're on the fence or stuck ordering from the same old mediocre spots, do yourself a favor and give The Post a shot. It's not just good for Connecticut -- it's just plain great.

What I love about the pizza is you get just the right amount of rosemary hint when eating the pizza which makes it taste that much better. In addition, there lunch menu is very affordable which offers sandwiches for 7.50 and two slices of pizza with a can of soda for 7.50. Furthermore, you get a ticket stamper and the tenth time you order pizza, you get a free large pizza. Wow!! That's a great way to keep people coming back!! The inside was nice, cozy and somewhat trendy. I can definitely see some pictures getting taken by the light up sign on the wall. The customer service was great and the owner was very gracious.

Vespino Pizza + Restaurant is a modern Italian restaurant and New York-style pizzeria that opened…read morein Fairfield, Connecticut in March 2023. It was founded by Italian immigrant restaurateurs and business partners Nunzio DeTommaso and Biagio "Gino" Riccio. DeTommaso ran Gravina Pizzeria in Greenwich for a number of years before it closed, while Riccio is most well-known for founding Quattro Pazzi Café in Fairfield in 1997. In this new collaborative venture between the two, DeTommaso and Riccio serve authentic New York-style pizza in a friendly and casual atmosphere. The name "Vespino" is a reference to a brand of mopeds which are a popular mode of transportation in major Italian cities. In addition to the signature New York-style pizza, the menu also consists of Detroit-style pizza, Italian entrees, pasta dishes, salads, classic antipasti, beer, wine and craft cocktails. In summer 2024, Vespino was sold to restaurateur Marcelo Acosta. My family and I recently had dinner at Vespino for the first time. We've had them on our "must-try" list of restaurants for some time and we were excited to finally sample their food. There were some fancy-sounding drinks on their cocktail menu, so I decided to order the "Sardinian Special" (Redemption bourbon, prickly pear, citrus, mint). This delicious cocktail reminded me of being on a warm Italian beach: a nice distraction from the freezing cold temperatures outside. For food, I ordered the "Burrata Pizza" (mozzarella, tomato sauce, topped with/ fresh burrata & EVOO), my wife ordered the "Tortelloni" (peas, prosciutto, mushrooms, vodka sauce), our older son had the "Kids Chicken Tenders" (w/ fries), and our younger son had the "Kids Penne Pasta" (w/ butter). We all really liked our food! My pizza had a crispy crust, really creamy burrata, and an excellent sauce! My wife loved her pasta, especially the vodka sauce). Overall, we all had a great experience at Vespino and would love to return. Next time I really want to try their Detroit-style pizza.

I had chicken palliard and my fiance ordered a cheese Detroit style pizza. Garlic bread was different. It was dipped in maybe a garlic parsley oil instead of garlic and butter. It was ok. They brought my fiancé a normal cheese pizza instead of the Detroit ordered. My palliard was good and nice fresh ingredients but was still hungry after as it was 2 very thin pieces of chicken. It was alright but not sure we'd come back.
