I have used A-Squad 2 additional times since my first review. This last time I called them at 7 the night before I needed their service and Dakota was on it. I couldn't be there for this last one and I had my boyfriend let them in. If it had been anyone else, I would have been terrified that something would show up broken/damaged. As always, communication was excellent, Dakota called as soon as they were done to let me know. I was referred by a friend that had previously used A-Squad and had a pleasant experience. After getting quotes from a couple of other places, I decided to go with A-Squad myself. My move was very last minute but they were able to schedule me. The whole booking process was very easy and both Matt and Dakota made themselves readily available and were very helpful. I really liked that their quotes are bottom line and when they tell you there are no hidden charges, they mean it. The day of the move I was running behind and called to see if they wouldn't mind waiting an hour or so to begin and they were very laid back and accommodating! I had a last minute move into a new apartment back in September, and thankfully the crew at A-Squad was up for the task without much prior notice. Super friendly, down-to-earth, and hardworking group of guys. The new apartment had some tricky hallways, corners, and staircases (including a spiral stair) that they handled really, really well. There wasn't a single scratch on the walls or damage to any of my property! I couldn't have done it without them in my situation. These guys were awesome. I was needing relocate for work and I was stressed because I was having to start work before I was able to move. I called these guys and they set up an appointment to move me from my old place into my new one. They were very patient and understanding as I can be a bit anal about exchanging details and making sure everyone is one the same page. Terrell took the time to hear everything I had to say and then explained it back to me and how everything would go down. When move day came they were right on time and ready to go. Every one was very kind and had a great attitude. They really relieved all my worries about this move. I have some items that are difficult to move and they made sure to wrap them thoroughly and carefully move them in and out. I could not be more happy with this guys. These guys are awesome. Not only did they move me from Atlanta to Asheville, NC, but they did so efficiently and with smiles on their faces. Booking was a snap, and they stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process to ensure I had no questions or concerns. They showed up on time, worked diligently and efficiently, and made it very clear they would go above and beyond to help me make my move easier. Once we got to Asheville, they had the entire truck unloaded and stuff in the right rooms (a 4BR house move) within an hour and a half. This was by far one of the easiest, most efficient, and reasonably priced moves I have ever made, all thanks to these two. We had damage to multiple furniture pieces and to our home. Nothing was wrapped as promised (I was told our furniture would be wrapped with blankets and shrink wrap as part of the standard job). Our $1,500 dining room table is ruined due water damage that happened on the truck. Our couch was dragged around without being wrapped and now has huge dirt stains that we can't get out. Floors were damaged and walls/ceilings were damaged. The guys were nice but the job was not. I would not recommend, apparently you get what you pay for. read more

I would give them 10 stars if I could, I cannot say enough good things about my experience with A-Squad Movers. If I ever have to move again, they will be the first people I call. We bought a house and moved from our 1 bedroom apartment and made the crazy decision to move on the same day of the closing. I did a lot of research on movers and A-Squad was by far the best value and after reading reviews I knew they would handle all of our furniture and belongings with care. I appreciated that their pricing was very straight forward. We had to change our move date a few times and Dakota was accommodating and professional each time. On the day of the move, they showed up early and got everything out of our elevator building in a little over 2 hours (I had a few HEAVY and bulky furniture items and they really handled everything SO carefully!) and when we arrived at our house they had everything in the house in probably 45 minutes! These guys HUSTLED! I kept asking them if they wanted water but they just kept moving the whole time and didn't waste a single second. Also, they un-installed our washer and dryer from our apartment and then hooked everything back up at our house for no extra charge, that was a huge help! On top of all of this, they all showed up in great moods and were honestly just really positive, friendly, helpful and energetic, which I really appreciated because we had a lot of stressful things going on all at once so it was great to have such positive energy. We called PrimeTime Movers a few days before we needed to move. I am currently 8 months pregnant and we were moving into our first home. My husband was hesitant to hire movers, but I knew we needed them. Thankfully they were able to fit in our move. Let me just say, we had the best experience with them. Their truck has issues, and they called 20 mins before start time to inform me of this and provide a estimated new time. We had three stops for our move, one to pick-up a piano, and man they worked hard at each stop. We hoped to stay under 4 hours, and they did the best that they could to stay to that time frame. They even bringing in a 5th guy to help unload at our new home. They were kind, considerate, and pleasant. They joked and made the day enjoyable (MOVING DAY WAS ENJOYABLE!) We were SO thankful for them, their hard work. and going the extra mile to make sure we were happy. We gladly got everyone lunch and made sure to tip them well. They had worked so hard for us. I called A-Squad after the guys I hired to unload my uhaul cancelled 30 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive. After driving 800 miles there was no way we could have unloaded the truck ourselves and would have paid almost any price for some help. Dakota was super helpful and came through in the clutch, agreeing to arrive at 8am the next morning. He and Matt arrived at 7:45 ready to go and unloaded our 15 foot truck in just about an hour. They were so awesome, handled our things with such care, we had no problem paying for the 2 hour minimum, which was an incredibly fair rate compared to other quotes I received. OMG!!!! If it would not be "weird" to fall in love with movers....I would proclaim my love for Dakota and his team. I called Dakota at 8:00am panicked because the movers I hired were a no show!!!! Dakota placed me on a brief hold, assembled together a team and got to my home within the hour. The move took only 5 hours (8 bedroom/6 bath home) and they did a fabulous job. I never heard so many "yes ma'ams" in my life. They were polite, clean, respectful, careful, kind and competent. Parts were missing from my sleigh bed and Dakota even offered to come back to my home and put it together at no cost. These guys were so amazing!!!
