Date: September 2, 2024 Starting off September with a review to this gem of a spot we got to check out! Hubs was in the mood for NY pizza so yelped around and saw this one looked the most delicious and had the most reviews stating it was closest to authentic NY pizza so we decided to give it a shot. They have a little patio outside if you prefer outside dining with restrooms and a water station. They also have a parking lot, sometimes right parking due to its small space but a good 10 spots at least! Walked inside and they have a couple tables inside as well. It was fully packed when we arrived but luckily we managed to grab a seat as someone was just leaving. Ordered at the counter and they give you a number and bring your food to you. We got a full pepperoni pizza (27$) and buffalo wings (12$) as well as a slice of Sicilian Pizza (5$). ALL were amazing delicious!!! The Scilian pizza was so worth it! Wish we had more. The pepperoni pizza was a little on the oily side but the pepperoni was delicious! Love that the cheese wasn't extreme but also just enough to make the pizza blend well together. They have can drinks (2.50-4$) but no ice so some drinks were on the warmer side but still a nice addition to the meal. We got a Diet Coke (2.50$) and an Arnold Palmer (3.50$). Totally recommend this spot if you like NY pizza!! Definitely will be back!! read more

I was craving a vegan pizza and saw this pop up on my choices and with lots of reviews how can I go wrong. Great size and price for a vegan supreme pizza. Smelled delicious but my wife just took a bite and said meh. I tasted it and it was just ok. read more

This is a picture of the absolute WORST pizza I have EVER had in my life so far. This abomination of a pizza was at Prime Pizza in Burbank. The reasons why this pizza was a abomination. 1. The sauce was salty. 2. The sause was watery. 3. The pizza needed mozzarella cheese. 4. The toppings were haphazardly applied to the pizza. Those abomination costs $30. I posted this review publicly on Facebook. read more

Prime Pizza - The worst pizza I ever had. Papa John's is better than this garbage. - Pizza Near Me - Burbank, California

We used to live walking distance to this place before it was Prime Pizza. Since they changed over and we moved closer again, we've ordered their spicy pepperoni square (rectangular) once a week. We have it cut into 16 pieces and it feeds 2 of us, along with enough for lunch for a couple of days. I'm not a crust lover, but theirs is actually good. Got their chicken wings once, but $12 for 6 pieces is a little pricey. Also got their Caesar salad once... also $12 so now I just make one at home to go with the pizza. If you're thinking of trying their pizza, do it. It's worth it. So yummy! read more

Came here after a very long day and I just wanted/needed something delicious and comforting. My friend suggested this place and I'm glad he did. It was later in the evening and their small parking lot was empty. Even on busy days, I would suggest parking across the street and just walking over. They sold pizza by the slice and since it was my first time here, it was an easy way to try a little of everything. They have a variety of toppings, crusts, and sauces. I can't tell you specifically what we got because we just pointed at pre-made slices and took them all home. While we waited for our stuff, we sat down and had a beer. Tables were small and I can see this being more of a pick-up and go place. Beer selection was minimal. Even though we took it home and it was slightly cold by that point, the pizza slices were all really, really, really good. It makes me think how much better they must be hot! I would recommend trying the slices and getting to know their flavors, or if you're up for it, ordering a full pie would also be a great idea. Definitely gonna make this a regular spot. read more

On Saturday, I went with my family to Prime Pizza in Burbank, and right away the place felt like a great small neighborhood pizza spot. What really made the experience special, though, was the customer service. Kim, the cashier, greeted us with a warm smile and incredible kindness. I had never met her before, yet she made us feel truly welcome, almost like family. She took the time to explain everything we asked about without rushing us at all, and she was patient, attentive, and genuinely sweet throughout the entire interaction. She even brought our order out to our table outside, still smiling and checking in on us. Kim is the definition of great customer service -- friendly, caring, and professional. Experiences like this are what make people want to come back. Thank you, Prime Pizza, and especially Kim, for such a wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back. read more

I've only ordered delivery and their pizza and buffalo wings always hits. I'm not a huge pizza or buffalo wing person but theirs is just done extremely well. I love the thinness of the pizza too. They have the one of the best ranch (better than wingstop). Must try! read more

Yess so good! Finally got to try this cute little place and was super happy we did. Got the buffalo wings and a full White pizza, both were delicious. The White pizza was pretty large so could feed like 4-6 people! Definitely will go back to try more stuff. read more

Went to prime pizza on Sunday for lunch! Place was bust but cashier was very nice! Their lunch special is awesome and their grandma slice of cheese was a hit! Got me a pie slice of cheese good to! Come here for there lunch deals! read more

I tried this for the first time and I got to say....the food is amazing and delicious! The service was fabulous as when I received my food from one of the workers, spicy pepperoni, I gotta say. The name makes up for it. So good and spice blends in just right. I got wings after and let me tell you, I order a lot of wings from different places but THIS ONE just hits! Eating at the establishment was perfect. Everything is clean, the area feels like a good ol' vibe to like if I was there as a kid. Can't wait to come back! read more

Great lunch special , 2 slices and a drink for $10. Staff is super friendly, little indoor eating area and some outside tables as well. Their summer tomato slice was nice without the summer tomatoes. Sauce was delicious and it's on top of their special grandma style pizza without cheese .. loved it. Classic cheese slice is also really good for an LA New York style slice. They have about 8-10 pizzas on display.. if you get there @1130 it's your pick of the litter! Plenty of parking as well so great idea for lunch in Burbank. read more

My bf and I were in the area for another Yelp event so we decided to grab dinner from here on the way home! Let me start off by saying that the parking lot is absolutely ridiculous. We came in through one side which is both an entrance and exit but there is literally only a total of like 6 parking spots here. Super tiny AND you can't even exit through the other side because it's also an entrance but ONLY ONE WAY. It makes no sense. They basically force you to park but if there aren't any spots, then it sucks because you just have to back out into the main road to exit. Luckily there was a gap for the handicap spot that I was able to turn into to let the other guy pass who came from the other entrance but then I had to completely turn around to face where I came from and try to find parking. Once we finally got parking, we walked into the place and grabbed a menu to look at. Seems like a very tiny spot overall with very few tables and a squishy enough entrance. Everyone there was also just in and out meaning they placed their orders online. Luckily we didn't have to wait long. The nice young man took our order and we sat on the bench and waited. Took the pizza home to enjoy and I did not even realize how HUGE the pizza was! The box was big but the slices were also very big. Total of 8 slices but they were super big like New York style. It's a very thin pizza and wasn't really my thing although the flavor was delicious! Glad we got to try it. I'd eat it again but not very often. I still prefer a regular pizza which is more doughy. Still a nice spot and recommend trying it at least once! IG: @ammysalamii read more

The Spot: A clean, stylish pizzeria with just enough modern flair to make you think, "Hey, maybe they know what they're doing." Sleek, well-presented, and the scent of oregano floating through the air whispering, "This is gonna be good, trust me." The Slice: Altadena and pizza go together like socks and sandals, technically possible but morally questionable. So when this place popped up, I got hyped. I ordered a whole pie and for a moment, the world seemed okay again. Was it life changing? No. But in the barren wasteland of Altadena' s pizza landscape, it was like finding a functioning water fountain in the desert. Flash forward a year or so later: I'm in Little Tokyo and spot another location and think, Yes. Destiny. I go in, When I approached to order a couple slices the counter person looked at me like I had just insulted their dog and their favorite musical artist at the same time. I sat a few minutes, get my slices, take a bite... The crust? Like baked concrete. The slice? Drier than a group text with your coworkers about birthdays. Another six months go by tried again in El Segundo, hoping I just caught them on a bad day. Nope. Still dry. Still hard. Still served with a side of low-grade disdain. The Price: Cheese slice: $3.50 Margherita slice: $4 Pepperoni slice: $4 Likes: Whole pies? Good! The place looks good, feels clean, and has strong "we know how to run a business" energy. The branding alone says "we went to marketing school and passed." Dislikes: Slices that taste like they've been doing time at the front counter. FOH staff who radiate the energy of someone who just got told they're working a double. I'm not asking for hugs, just maybe don't serve the slice with a side of contempt. The Verdict: If you bring one of their whole pies to a party, I will fist bump you and eat three slices. But if you ever catch me stopping in solo for a slice, assume I've lost a bet. read more

I've been wanting to go to one of the locations for a while now. I happen to go to the Burbank/North Hollywood location last night. As luck would have it they had a collaboration pizza with La Unica Tacos Y Birria (birria pizza). The place itself is a little small, but has fun decorations from Los Angeles especially the Dodgers. The folks behind the counter were super friendly. A few of my friends and I were grabbing dinner before we were cracking up and beers. We decided to get slices so we could try a variety. I got to try the birria pizza, the Sicilian slice, spicy pepperoni square slice, and the regular pepperoni. The birria work really well. It came with some salsa and some consome. Really great all together. The spicy pepperoni had a bit of a kick, but not overly spicy. I also enjoyed the Sicilian square slice. A nice thick crust with a nice crunch. Definitely fun place to go to if you want a whole pizza or if you want to go by slices. It's a nice addition to the neighborhood and I'm happy that it's pretty close to my friends house whenever we come over. read more

I would give the pizza a 4 actually so my rating is more on the 3.5 side. Being from the east coast is very particular about pizza and Prime has some of the better tasting. I will say their price is a little high but that's most places nowadays. The restaurant itself is small, only like 3 tables inside but there is a nice outdoor seating area. But it's definitely more a takeout place in my opinion. Only ever interacted with one hostess, others times I ordered online beforehand so not much interaction but she was nice. read more

My go to local pizza spot. Been all over the menu, I feel the only thing lacking for me are the garlic knots. Wish they'd be more garlicky, but that's just me. The vegan options are solid too. Have yet to dine in but gone to pick up a lot and delivered. Ordering online off their website is breeze and they're pretty punctual with their estimated prep time. Parking lot can be a lil tight when busy but it's a high traffic area. And they produce a quality product. Customer service has always been solid too. Love the hip hop that's usually playing in the background. My personal favorite is the Arrabbiata with pepperoni well done for the perfect crispy crust. Oh, also, their ranch is top tier. read more

So yummy! Stopped in to grab a few slices I had ordered ahead online and the pizza was absolutely amazing. I got a slice of the vodka which was just plain and simple. The Sicilian was out of this world. The pesto on top is the perfect pair to it's crispy thick crust. read more

So my husband and I stopped by prime pizza for dinner. I love a pizzeria that sells pizza by the slice. And sadly there isn't too many in Burbank, and the ones that have it aren't good at all. This place was recommended to me and learned that they had a location in Burbank. I decided to try lunch there. What a treat!!! I got the slice with salad and a drink option. What a great deal and amount of food!! You order at the cashier and they give you a number. It's a small place and I decided to head outside to sit at one of the picnic tables since it was a nice day. I was able to start on my chop salad and lemonade while I wanted for my grand master slice. Perfect!!! I will keep this place in mind for a quick to go in the evenings! I was here years ago and gave a good review. The pizza is still good. However the experience inside is NOT GOOD. Do not bring young children here. I arrived at 8:50 PM on 9-1-25. There was loud rap music playing and the lyrics were filled with profanity for all to hear. There was a girl worker who was literally jumping up and down behind the counter to the music. Kind of pricey, but toook advantage of a deal on Postmates :) SCORE. Sicilian style pizza has got a thicker crust, almost like a loaded focaccia bread. Ordered the meat lovers which came with pepperoni, sausage, meatball, and onions. The pizza flavor wise was pretty good just found it a little dry. Maybe could have used a little more sauce, but added some ranch to it did the trick. They also have non thick crust pizza as well, so take your pick! read more

(12/31/22) I got the grandma pizza w/ pepperoni, easy sauce VS getting the spicy pepperoni pizza because I didn't care for a spicy pizza. Also got buffalo wings which were ok, they shorted me one wing and gave me 5 vs 6. But the pizza was AMAZING. (Recently ordered on 1/20/23 through Uber Eats the EXACT SAME order and it came without any sauce and burnt. Was disappointed. Maybe I have to only pick it up in person vs ordering delivery to ensure its correct. My 5 star rating will be based off my first time initially trying it though!) read more

Located in a very saturated area full other pizza establishments. I don't go here by choice but usually with a friend who enjoys their pizza. This place is mainly about the pizza and doesn't offer much else besides that. I struggle to find non pizza choices on the menu that other pizza joints in the area provide like sandwiches, pasta, and salad. Comparatively, their pricing is a bit higher than most. I can't speak to the service or ambiance as we mostly do takeout. There isn't much about this place that excites me and I can find similar or slightly better options a bit cheaper. read more

Slightly pricy in comparison to surrounding pizza places in Burbank, but it is so so worth it. If you want quality ingredients and enjoy a perfectly chewy and flat-crust pizza, this is your place. (Personally I have mostly tried their round pies, and cannot attest to those items.) I've been going to prime pizza for a few years now (since it opened in Burbank) and each time I go, it has been impeccable. I've gone to prime pizza for different occasions and the food has always been great: I've sat indoors for a couple slices on a weekday and have gotten big orders for parties. All scenarios have given me a great experience in service and great pizza. They also have seasonal items on the menu. Around the end of summer, I had a sweet yet acidic tomato-topping pie that had a unique flavor palette and came from a local farm. Again. It can get pricy. But as someone enjoys pizza...very much worth it. Most recently I got two round pizzas , vodka and supreme 18" for 4 people and both were delicious and ended up having leftovers. read more
