Came here tonight with my spouse for a late dinner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We really like this place, especially the outdoor seating area. It wasn't too crowded, which was perfectly fine with us.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We both ordered the Sausage Party Pizza, and all I can say is: delicious! We also ordered an appetizer of Buffalo wings. My spouse had some kind of Spritz drink, and I ordered soda water since they don't carry mineral water. The waiter (the one with the nice tattoos) who took our order was absolutely awesome--friendly, welcoming, and, I have to admit, quite handsome. When I tasted the soda water, I wasn't too thrilled. I assume it's just tap water with carbonation, and I simply can't stand the taste of the tap water here. To me, it tastes like drinking pool water with all the chlorine. I went back to the bar, where another bartender wearing a cowboy hat was working. After I explained the situation, he kindly offered to replace it with a soda instead. Very nice guy and great customer service. When I went inside to refill my drink at the soda fountain, I happened to notice a plate of Buffalo wings sitting on the counter by the open kitchen, waiting to be picked up. I thought, "Great, those must be ours. Our appetizer will be out any second now." We were starving. Well... we waited. And waited. Nothing. After a while, I asked the young lady working the floor about our wings and mentioned that I had seen them sitting at the counter quite some time earlier. She said something about a pasta dish, which left us completely confused. A little later she brought us our pizzas, and I have to say she was very polite throughout the evening. Unfortunately, quite some time after that, our "appetizer" finally arrived--after our pizzas--and by then the wings were already almost cold. When we originally ordered, we had also paid extra for an additional Ranch dipping sauce. When I mentioned it was missing, she came back with it and said, "This one's on the house!" I didn't have the heart to tell her that we had actually already paid for it. As much as I liked her and appreciated how polite she was, I honestly felt the service was a bit disorganized. Saying that as someone who worked professionally as a waiter for years, I think a little more attention to timing and organization would go a long way. That said, the pizza was excellent, the wings still tasted good despite being almost cold, and when you're as hungry as we were, you're willing to overlook a few things. We ended up having a very enjoyable evening, thanks in large part to the great food and the excellent service from the waiter who took our order and the bartender. We'll definitely be back. Came in tonight for some pizza, and this was my first experience at Pitfire Pizza. We ordered the Pineapple Express, their pepperoni and basil pizza (I cannot remember the exact name on the menu), and an order of the boneless ginger chicken wings. Service was fast and friendly, and the space itself was nice with plenty of outdoor seating. The food was good. Not spectacular, but definitely not disappointing. The boneless chicken wings looked beautiful and crispy when they arrived, but ended up being more soft than crispy. The flavor was solid overall, though. The pizza itself was yummy. I do wish it had been a bit crispier, as the bottom of the dough was somewhat soft and the slices were a little floppy. I think this could easily be fixed by requesting the pizza stay in the oven for a few extra minutes. One thing worth mentioning, although it did not affect my overall review, is that there is a bus stop right next to the location where a group of homeless people were camping. I honestly was shocked how cute and chill this place was! I came here after a long day of work and ordered to go. I am very disappointed with my experience. I placed an order ahead of time for a chicken salad so I could pick it up during my lunch break. When I arrived, my order was not ready, and I was then informed that there was no chicken available. Had I been notified before arriving, I could have made other arrangements. Love the pizza, but I didn't know I was going to start loving being profiled too . I'm not going to write a novel about the whole interaction, but I came in to get a pizza. This place has been my go-to for several years longer than this worker has even been there doing the profiling upon entry. I see him side-eyeing me, and not in a way that seems inviting. I cross-reference it to my interactions with others. He proceeds to ask, "Can you help me?" I mean, obviously I'm here for something, right? I guess my bundles of winter clothes were intimidating to his small stature, and I must've been standing over him like David and Goliath. He tells me, "Can you please wait outside?" Outside? In this weather? While there are several different tables dining in? It seemed very odd to me and quite strange that he would make this gesture. He reinforced it by saying it again and putting his little fingers up as if I needed direction. It was more of a shock moment for me because, again, I come to this place pretty often and we always support it. If they're open, I don't go to Domino's; if they're closed, I buy my crushed red pepper and Parmesan from them. He comes back with the condiments, and there shouldn't be any surprise to him. I ordered the spicy rigatoni ala vodka and added chicken, expecting real pieces of chicken breast or something substantial. The food was great. Among our group, we had the burrata pizza, cheese pizza, smashing pumpkin pizza, caesar salad, and classic chop salad. The dough on the pizza was nice and thin on the bottom with a slight crunch to the crust but soft chewy inside. I really enjoyed it. The Caesar salad had plenty of dressing and wasn't anchovy tasting. It was delicious. The pumpkin pizza was a favorite. I enjoyed the burrata pizza, although I believe it was missing the pesto. The tables in the restaurant itself could have been cleaner but the staff was friendly and food came out pretty quickly. I look forward to dining at Pitfire again. read more

We always order the same kids' pizza because our child is picky, like a lot of kids. This time, it arrived with a generous layer of sprinkled cheese on top (Parmesan, maybe?), which made it noticeably different. For an adult, more cheese is great. For a kid, it's "stinky" and "not like it normally is." "Stinky" may be subjective, but the change up is a valid complaint. I ended up having to cook him something else, which defeats the purpose of ordering out. If my kid just didn't like it, that's on him, but my issue is the lack of consistency.
