I tried a slice of Spicy Pepperoni, White Pizza (Garlic Cheese), and Buffalo Chicken, along with a 6-piece order of buffalo wings. Everything was flavorful and satisfying, except for the Buffalo Chicken slice. The sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste, and the jalapeño on it caught me by surprise -- I'm not used to seeing that on a Buffalo Chicken pizza. A solid 4 stars. I think this place is SO much better if you eat in or don't have a long drive home. I could tell the difference in quality when placing a delivery order vs coming in. We regularly share a lunch special of 2 slices + salad and a drink. It covers the bases and we leave satisfied. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Not ideal for large parties, but there a few picnic tables outside that can accommodate a small group. Small parking lot with easy access coming from both directions. Great pizza especially their square pies. However always ask for well done if you like a little crunch. They know how to do well done, not like some spots where that means burnt crust. Ordered ahead on a Sunday night. Got the supreme pizza, it took about 45 minutes, which was fine since we were out running errands. We received a text when it was ready which was pretty on par to when the estimate said the food would be ready. The inside is quite small and extremely cramped with everyone waiting around for their take out. We ate in side the car in the parking lot. It's a very small lot, that's in an abstract shape, but we were lucky to find a spot. I went in and was helped pretty immediately. The person helping me was very nice, she even held the door open with me as I walked out with an 18" pie. The pizza was good, it's thin crust but good quality. All the other ingredients were fresh and good quality. I had a couple tough pieces of sausage but outside of that no real complaints. While I liked the pizza, it honestly lacked a wow factor for me to love it, especially for $30.50 for a pie. I'm glad we tried it, but I dont think ill be back again soon. I would like to come back and try the square pizzas. It's worth a stop and a try but nothing mind blowing. read more

I wish I could give more stars but the pizza just didn't wow me. The garlic knots were fresh and fluffy, but the pizza felt dry. It might be different if you order an entire pie, but the individual slices were not IT. That's all. The good: I enjoyed the outdoor dining area. Perfect to enjoy the outdoor breeze. I also appreciated that they had ranch. I don't care what anyone says, ranch and pizza are a perfect combination! We were around the area and wanted to find a pizza place that wasn't a pizza hut, domino, type of chain store. So we stumbled upon this one. This is a very small pizza parlor is on a corner and has a VERY small parking lot. A lot of the spaces are in a one-way kind of direction. They have a few small tables inside but they have a patio with some picnic style benches. We loved the pizza, but we wished there was more sauce. They ask for your number and will text you when the pizza was ready for pick up. We waited in the car. I went in and saw a bunch of pictures of a guy everywhere. Who is this guy? The owner, the chef, a friend? Is he trying to stroke his ego by putting pictures of him everywhere and not give us any insight into who he is? Do I have to google him? Is that what you want, for me to google you to find out who you are? Why not put a small frame giving us "your story" or some insight into what the place is, obviously a pizzeria, and why you have pictures of yourself everywhere. 4- Stars, good pizza ambience felt weird with the guys' picture everywhere. I'm absolutely spoiled by all the great pizza places in Los Angeles, and Prime Pizza is high on my list. Their house made ranch is a show stopper on its own, but their pizza, both times I've had it, absolutely knocked it out of the park. I could only compare it to what feels like an all expenses paid trip to flavor town, with plenty to love, including their own blend of arnold palmer which was lip smacking good too. I love this place for all it is, but I would be content to just stare into the windows of their various flavors. read more

I've never had a bad experience at Prime Pizza, and my last visit was no exception. I love the spicy pepperoni pizza. I stopped in 2 days ago for a slice and the employee/manager (woman with glasses and a red shirt) asked if i wanted a slice from the corner or middle. "Corner", I said. When she brought my pizza to me at my table, there were two slices on the tray! "The slice was very small," she said. Prime pizza have quickly become one of my new favorite pizza spots. I have been on the hunt to find the best pizza spots in the San Fernando valley and prime pizza is definitely in my top 5. My personal favorite is the spicy pepperoni pizza. It has the perfect kick of spice and the dough is the perfect crunch and soft in the inside. Definitely a one star and crazy hype. Giving it two because I'm never going back to try the square pizza. Heavy sauce, no cheese, crazy over priced, thin cracker crust. No clue what I am honestly paying for. The pizza is so thin it doesn't even hold heat, ate it immediately at the location as it came out and the pizza was not too hot to consume or it might simply be the fact there's no cheese to hold the heat. The sauce is acidic, in my opinion the character of cheap sauce. Nothing on this pizza brought anything that would make one feel like this is a good pizza or garnered your attention. I ordered to go and it said 30 minutes for pickup. I arrived and my pizza was 15 minutes late. So I was waiting for it to come out. To be fair it was prime time dinner, but I ordered one pizza. There were probably 15 delivery drivers waiting or arriving in this time. The restaurant is taking in way more orders than it could handle. Do not waste your time or money. You order at the conter in a sort of inside space and then take it to go or eat at their outside tables. They've got super-rock solid NYC slices. We all had cheese slices to start and had no complaints...perfect crust...perfect ratio of cheese to sauce (ie not too much cheese and not too little sauce) gave us the exact experience we were looking for. Enter their thicker square pie slices...more Detroit style...not your typical, basic restaurant pizza...but truly fantastic and perfectly cooked crispy dough with all kinds of enticing options on top...we had Sicillian slices of this variety and are still salivating over the gorgeous flavors that went into our mouths. If Prime Pizza opened in Santa Clarita, we'd set up camp outside and never leave. It was super good...well worth the 20 minute drive from where we were and they have plenty of reasons on their menu for us to go back, try new things, and have more of what we really loved. Most restaurants near the Portos area were closed when we arrived at our hotel around 9 pm. My sister and I trekked across town and found this hidden gem while trying to figure out which restaurants were still open. We bought two pepperoni slices for a total of $10. That's unheard of in the SF Bay Area. When we returned to our hotel, our pizza turned cold. To our surprise, our flat, cold pizza tasted like a little slice of heaven. Every single cold pizza that I have tried tasted gross. We regret that we didn't buy an entire pizza. My sis and I agree that this is the best pizza that we've ever tried. Seems to be the same person/cashier when we picked up who charged us extra for the side and raw jalapeños . Great pizza option in Burbank, near the studios/Magnolia park area. Located in an easy to access corner space with decent amount of parking. All of their pizzas are one size though, they do not offer anything smaller than a Large (feels like an XL). Quality of the pizza is great, generous amount of toppings and tasty dough. It was a bonus to see they offer Vegan options, including vegan cheese. This place will be a regular for us, plan to pick up. read more

Aside from by the slice, classic round pizza pies and their must try square pizzas you partake in wings, garlic knots and other offerings. The sauce and dressing list is stacked! Really wonderful spot where I frequently order by the slice squares. Prices are steep as it's an LA shop, but the quality of their product is great. For years, I have driven by this pizza place and never stopped. Honestly, I thought you had to buy a full pizza, so I never really thought about stopping in. However, I learned they also do individual slices, which is great for a quick lunch! I had two slices and both were pretty good and a reasonable value. They have a little sitting area if you want to stay and eat there. For individual slices, they heat them up out of a display case. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes and it's pretty efficient. What a disappointment, I had the Prime Pizza a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing just like the Joe's pizza in NYC. I had the same order yesterday and it was a disaster, my pepperoni pizza was well overcooked and the crust ended up like a toast, the extra cheese barely had any cheese on it and it was overcooked on one side and undercooked on the other one. It's never fair to compare but if you enjoy Prince Street, then you'll love PRIME PIZZA Their grandma slice and regular slice are crisp and oily and tasty and everything you want in a slice of pizza pie. I also sampled the wings and wasn't disappointed by those, either. Topped off with a nice fizzy drink and your LDL level is off to the races. I arrived right at opening and there were slices ready to serve, and a stream of deliveries and pickups already occurring in the first 20 minutes of opening. The steady business is a good omen!
