Yes, I was glad I didn't have to drive to LiL Tokyo. But after trying this spot I might have to continue that drive. Fairfax is just too far to truly experience Prime. The food was fine. Service was nice and Ambiance was good too. But $1.50 for ranch brah. read more

Prime Pizza - Prime pizza hat - Pizza Near Me - Brea, California

Great pizza place! I'm all about ordering pizzas by the slice; the reheated slices always get a nice and crispy crust. I waited about 12 minutes for my slices. I highly recommend the vodka slice and grandma square. I wish the pepperoni slice had more than just 5 tiny pepperonis. Check it out!! I can't wait to go back. read more

OK now I got it right. Extra pepperoni well done . phenomenal customer service. I will tell you next time I'm gonna go extra well done. That way it comes out the same way as the slices.. they cooked those slices so it gets really crispy on the bottom. I had the barbecue chicken pizza slice and it was awesome. read more

Prime Pizza - Extra pepperoni well done - Pizza Near Me - Brea, California

Every time I come here the staff is amazing. I normally go for their amazing lunch special. Another great place to eat in Brea!

7.5/10 Got the family pack with a pepperoni pizza and meatballs. Took a while for the food to get home so it wasn't super fresh, but we did reheat everything in the oven. Pizza was pretty good and the thinner crust had a good bite. Meatballs were alright, garlic knots were alright, and they forgot our salad . Been hearing a lot of hype for prime and I was expecting a little more if I'm being honest. Great pizza regardless tho. read more

Came to check out prime pizza today not too busy, but as I am ordering many people coming behind me, that's a good sign they only have just a few tables outside, so if you're planning on eating here, it might not be a table for you unless you want to sit outside as well no tables inside. Tried a slice and ordered a whole pie to take home very good I will say crust and ingredients all fresh I can recommend for sure I will be back . read more

Went there for their opening day - had seen them during the construction and even stopped by while they were training. They gave me a couple of slices which were awesome so I decided to go by and support the opening. Wow!! - the pizza is amazing and everyone is so friendly. Ordered the go-to - Pepperoni and some garlic knots. Hot, tasty and plenty of food. Can't wait to go back and try their other flavors. BBQ was calling my name as well as the spicy pepperoni. Thanks Prime for coming to Brea - we will be putting you into our pizza rotation at the top. read more

THIS IS ONLY A TAKE OUT SPOT. Not all Prime locations are the same. Yes, I've been to all these locations and drive out of my way for either Burbank if I'm in the area or Sierra Madre. This still beats Prince street. This is definitely a franchise now and unfortunately Best to worst: Burbank - consistently good Fairfax Santa Monica Sierra Madre DTLA Brea food was not up to par with Burbank. The Detroit squares are as thick as the slices. No rise in the dough. This place has no seating. There's 4 tables out front, 2 (4 guests), 2 (2 guests), and some round tables by the plaza's trash cans. Direct sunlight. Maybe 3 tables? read more

From the write ups and hype I was really excited to try this new pizza restaurant. I was truly disappointed and plan no future visits. The garlic knots had so much potential, but fell so short. The garlic topping is quite delightful but that is where the delicious hit ends. To add context, as soon as I got back to my car my wife and I excitedly popped the package open. The dough was hard and rubbery to chew, it had the taste that it had been cooked earlier and reheated. The remainder went into the trash. The pizza was eaten about 15 minutes when we got home. The crust was nothing to applaud about and the flavor just wasn't there. Personally, I enjoy Costco food court pizza better. We had a couple of slices and that was enough. Being one who loves cold pizza the next morning, it pains me to admit that the leftovers went into the trash with the garlic knots. read more

Pizza was good. Make sure to order online otherwise it's going to take awhile. They were very prompt about how long it would take for the food to be ready read more

Prime pizza, it's not you, it's me. I really want to love you, visually you are everything I want: thin crust, bright red sauce, perfectly cooked bubbled/ browned cheese. But something is missing. The crust doesn't have the crunch I crave, the sauce has no tang, the cheese Leaves me missing the pizza Regina of my dreams. You're a really good pizza, just we are not right for each other, right now. I wish you all the success in the world. read more

UPDATE: WE ALL GOT FOOD POISONING?!?! Woke up with insane stomach aches and had to crawl up into a ball all night!!!! Ordered 2 pizzas at 4pm.. by 7:30, I've already asked the staff multiple times when the pizzas will be ready, to only be told we're waiting on one more... by 8:30, they finally told me the second pizza isn't coming and to just take the one that was ready over an hour and a half ago?! What the actual f. It's cold, it's chaotic, and there is no organization at all. When I called to get an update since it was so chaotic, I was put on hold for 20 minutes.. hung up and tried again and was put on hold again before I was able to even say one word. read more

Whoever the manager was for 9/16/26 severely understaffed for the day. There were only two wonderful employees who were just absolutely swamped with work and did a good job despite the situation they were put into. The pizza we ordered tasted amazing and all the seating was clean which made it an enjoyable experience. What really ruined it for us was seeing these workers so severely understaffed. read more

Hot hot mess! Without exaggerating we got our pizza 2 HOURS after ordering. Ridiculous! I can understand you just opened and it's busy come on why would you take online orders and in person orders without having your efficiency down?? Pizza not even great, extra thin, cold.. I mean disappointing.. I'm sorry but you cannot serve just pizza in 2 hours read more

I am a bit of a pizza nerd and I am embarrassed to say I had never tried a Prime Pizza slice until today. In LA, I've had Appolonias, Quarter Sheets, Danny Boys, LaSorteds, but that's 45-60 minutes each way living in North OC. Having Prime Pizza in North OC is monumental for residents. I ordered the pepperoni round. Just the right amount of crisp/chew, sauce/cheese. The ying and the yang. Ordered a cup of their pesto sauce to dip the crust and garlic knots in. Spectacular. Prime Pizza knows what they are doing when they open up new stores. The kitchen is running on all cylinders. The FOH crew are still feeling around a little bit, but that's expected. I am usually afraid to go to a new restaurant on opening week but this store was humming along perfectly. Much respect to Zac on his tenth store and sorry I waited so long! This is the best NY I have ever had. read more

They live up to real NYC pizza. The lunch special of 2 slices and a drink for $10 was good for the quality of pizza. Everyone was really nice. I think their only problem is they are going to get so popular they will run out of seating ! read more

Prime Pizza - Lunch special with 2 slices and a can of soda for $10! - Pizza Near Me - Brea, California

Extremely slow!!! I watched as 2 people folded boxes and one filled to go bags of peppers meanwhile it took nearly 10 minutes for my ticket to be brought up from the back of the kitchen to the front counter before they even worked on my order. In other words, it took about 15 minutes to get two slices of pizza that were already sitting in the front case. Not very good in my opinion. And then pizza in the box was barely warm. read more

Pretty mid-pizza. We ordered the veggie and vodka pizza and honestly they were pretty bland. I wish the sauce had more flavor and we could barely taste the cheese. As a vegetarian, I really wanted to like the veggie pizza, but I realized maybe kale isn't meant to go on pizza LOL also the mushrooms were a bit too chunky, I wish they were smaller. And once the pizza got to room temperature/cold, it got really chewy and a bit had to eat. Wishing the best for this pizza joint though and hopefully the feedback helps! read more

As a misplaced East Coaster, one of the things I miss immensely is A GOOD SLICE OF PIE!! It's finally here!! Prime pizza tastes like the pizza you'd find in NY. Delicious with every bite. I wanted to love this place as I work in the area and my friend who lives in Brea raves about it. I came in on a Tuesday at 1:20pm (after the lunch rush) and ordered a "Grandma" slice. I ate it at a nearby picnic table and after 5 bites had to throw away bc it was cold. Not sure why the staff wouldn't know the correct temp to heat it to... as I began eating it right away so it didn't sit. Staff was meh- no one seemed overly thrilled to be there but no one was rude. I can see where the pizza has potential. read more

We ordered a square pie, half Sicilian and half spicy pepperoni. If you've had Prince Street Pizza, this isn't really comparable. It's a solid pizza overall, but the sauce felt a bit lacking in flavor. The crust was excellent. It took about 30 minutes for the pizza to be ready, and they don't allow you to wait inside while your order is prepared. Overall, it's a decent spot, just nothing particularly memorable. read more

Was excited to try out place but was really disappointed. Got 2 slices the cheese and white pizza. The cheese slice didn't have enough cheese or sauce on it, tasted like hard crust. The white pizza had a bit more flavor but still crust was hard. Would not go back unfortunately. The ice tea was really good though. read more

I've been waiting for this place up open for a few weeks now. I Just happened to notice it when driving by. I've been looking for a good New York style pizza joint for a while now. I went at lunch and ordered the lunch special, Two slices of cheese and a soda. I like to say if the pizza is good you should first order just cheese. It didn't disappoint! The sauce has good flavor and it had the perfect amount of cheese for a New York cheese pizza. I do want to note that this location is pretty much a take out location. There are only two small tables outside with two chairs each. I was lucky and one of the tables was open. It was pretty busy at lunch. While eating I noticed a group of 4 ladies walking over from downtown Brea area to have pizza and ended up not ordering and walking back since there was no where to sit and eat. I don't know if all locations are like this since it was my first experience. So just know it's best to plan to take it with you. But I will be back! read more

Perfectly made pizzas for on the go adventures. I love that the pizza is not greasy, so I can touch the controls and instruments and not get grease on it. the crust is nice and crunchy and really light with a bit of charing underneath to give that extra rustic flavor, but it's also not flaky to where I get it all over the place. The tomato sauce actually taste like termaters :) and it's not so much that it spills on my clothes. read more

This was REALLLLLLY good pizza. Especially for a chain restaurant. We had the white sauce pizza, and a grandma style with pepperoni. Both were fantastic. East Coast style, west Cost Vibes! I see you Prime Pizza! You have captured the love and admiration of me and my family. From the first euphoric bite, to the bitter sweet long walk to the blue trash can with my empty box, all we talked about was our next visit to this new gem in our hometown. Thank you, for honoring us with your greatness! That first bite, took me straight back to John's of Bleeker st. But even better, because I didn't have to take 2 trains and walk 2 block to get to you. If you're wondering, what makes this place special. Literally, you can taste the freshness. Perfect sauce, great crisp, perfectly topped with cheese and the exact amount of pepperoni. Dave's 8.1, One Bite pizza review was low if you ask me. Do yourself a favor get a pie and some garlic knots. I'm looking forward to making many years of family memories with a slice of Prime Pizza in hand. read more

I was surprised when they opened up a Prime just down Imperial in Brea. Finally got a chance to pay them a visit a few days ago. Great pizza as always. Carriage doesn't flop and they always add the right amount of zing to their sauce. So happy that they're so close now. I usually hit up the one in Fairfax but now I don't have to travel so far. They have all the other goodies you'd find in their LA shops- the meatballs, ice cream, and merch. read more

Prime Pizza - SPICY PEPPERONI & LEMON PEPPER WINGS - Pizza Near Me - Brea, California

My husband and I love trying new pizza places. We are very open-minded when it comes to trying different styles of pizzas. New York style deep dish, etc. I'm sad to report we were very bummed. We ordered the following: 1/2 Sicilian and 1/2 Spicy Pep. A slice of pepperoni and Lemon Pepper Wings. Not let's break it down. The Pizza: overall the taste of the pizza was very good. However, I must admit that the sauce was a little bit on the bitter side and by the time we ate it, it was extremely soggy. The pesto on the Sicilian pizza tasted a little sour and was not my favorite combination. The spicy pepperoni was probably our favorite of the two. Sidenote, we ordered our pizza to be well done but noticed that it was not. Like I said, the pizza was just very soggy. Lemon Pepper Wings: we love a good lemon pepper wing, but I will say that these wings were extremely salty. The salt was very overpowering. Like I said, we were disappointed, but will be giving Prime Pizza another opportunity. Instead of take out, we will be eating it right then and there and seeing if that changes things. Ohh and the ranch is amazing!! Best ranch I've had in a while!!!! read more

We were so excited to go to this Prime Pizza after always having to drive out to Burbank! We ordered by slice and it was very fast. They told us it was a 5 minute wait but called us up in less than 2 minutes. Our pizza was COLD. Not even remotely warm. We were really disappointed. I understand that there was a line and that quick service is desired but at the cost of cold pizza...???? We're very disappointed. My boyfriend said that if this was our first time trying Prime, we would NOT choose to come back. But we know how good it CAN be from the Burbank one. I hope they fix the quality issue. The pizza itself was really good. As good as it can be when its cold. Another note. We got the text message that the pizza was done 5-7 minutes into eating, which makes me wonder if our pizza should have been cooking longer per protocol. Again, hoping our next experience is better and that the pizza is actually warm. read more
