Tried this place for the first time on Labor Day around noon. Parking is behind the building and we had no issues finding a spot. There was a small line when we arrived but it moved at a pretty steady pace. We ordered a few slices of pizza, a couple of cookies, a side of ranch, and a Diet Coke. They heat up the pizza slices after you order them and we were told it would take 10 minutes but we got our slices just after a few minutes. There's no seating inside but there are a few umbrella covered tables outside. I got a slice of the white and a slice of the pepperoni. Both were really good and I would definitely come back again!

Everyone has their favorite type of pizza and NY is mine. I knew after the first bite I would love this place. Just like the slices I had in NY. Tried their special summer tomato slice, a pepperoni and a spicy square pepperoni. All were good, but the pepperoni slice was my favorite. A sucker for the classics I guess. The tomato was unique, light and refreshing and was fine until I tried the pepperoni. So much better wi try cheese and toppings. The square was probably the best I've had in LA, just prefer round and thin. Why only four stars? Well, I was here around 3:30pm and the slices seemed a bit dry and they were. I knew I had to try a fresh pie, so went back (another location) a few days later and confirmed what I thought. This place is legit. Slices are fine if you can't get a whole pie, but a fresh slice or pie will make a difference. By the way, I gave the other location five stars, so hope to update this score on my next trip! This place has great parking compared to the other LA locations, which is really nice and service was fast and friendly. Lunch special is a great deal too if you can make it.

Finally got to check out Prime Pizza located in Brea, which is a New York-style pizza shop. We ordered the thicker cuts of pizza which were a square-style pizza and I got the Grandma's style. This is just pretty much mozzarella, sauce, and cheese. Which is simple but tasty! I love the crispiness of the pizza and the jalapeño ranch with it together was great. I don't eat pork so this was one of the styles that I could eat. Overall I thought the flavor and style were pretty nice. Maybe next time I will try their New York slices!

Don't do take out! The pizza gets extremely soggy to the point where it rips when you pick it up. But if you choose to eat there, seating is limited to 2 tables, 4 chairs each. There's a center courtyard with more in-n-out style outdoor tables but shade is limited depending on the where the sun's positioned. Pick up experience was long. I was told it'll take 25 min after ordering but it took 40min.

First time trying Prime Pizza out as it was recommended by a friend and seeing reviews it seemed very worthwhile to try. This location is a bit small, there is no indoor seating, only outdoor seating available. However, when you walk in, you can tell that this place is serious about pizza. You have several trays of pizza by the slice right in your face the moment you walk in. You have New York Style slices and square slices to pick from immediately that they will reheat in the over for you. Or you can order a full pie from the get go. We opted to get three slices: BBQ Chicken, White, and Vodka. Of the three, BBQ chicken was my favorite - the most flavor and the most feeling of a bang for your buck. The Vodka was also good. The white was okay (I probably wouldn't get this one again). The workers here were great they. Super helpful and talkative. They shared a lot, like the fact that the crust is actually sourdough. Definitely worth a quick visit if you want Pizza.

I've ordered from this place multiple times, and to be honest, this is my favorite pizza place. Everything here is delicious, but my favorite is the vodka chicken pizza. Their sauces are flavorful, and their toppings are always fresh, high-quality, and delicious. They have both regular ranch and jalapeño ranch, but the jalapeño ranch is the one I go with. It has a nice kick and goes really well with the pizza.

Excellent Pizza place in Brea. I'd been meaning to try Prime Pizza for quite some time and it was worth the wait! Really good pizza and garlic knots! I ordered take out and the turnaround was very quick and the pozza was still hot when I got it home. Definite thumbs up for Prime Pizza!

Order was placed for delivery via DoorDash. Pepperoni Pizza 9/10 solid pizza. (Could have been crispier, but maybe it's because it was a delivery). Even better the next day when reheating it in the oven (crispier) Not pictured but also ordered: *the Italian ice (mango & cherry, it's a packaged Italian ice not worth it. Wouldn't get it again. You're better off just getting joes Italian ice) 1/10 *Caesar salad 5/10 not the worst or best, but wouldn't get it again

Four adults decide to try Prime pizza at Brea. The pizza shop is small, New York style, and welcoming. Basically all of us pick lunch special, but upgrading to pizza of our choice. For example, I have one Sicilian pizza for under a dollar more. Pizzas are thin, crispy and yummy. However one of my slice is kind of burned. Service is friendly as you can choose to order to go or wait outside and they bring the pizzas to you - which we did. It's a good pizza parlor if you are looking for good thin New York style pizza.

We arrived on a Friday night and there was a line, but it moved fast. Ordered pizza slices of: -Vodka (5/5) -White (5/5) -Cheese (4/5) -Sicilian square (4/5) All the slices had a crispy undercarriage with no flop. Ingredients were high quality. Favorite was the white pizza!! It's now one of my top 3 favorite white pizzas. Good amount of sauce & cheese because places usually skimp out on it which makes the slice dry. Also got the Caesar salad (5/5). Crisp, fresh greens, a good portion for 2 to share, and a yummy caesar dressing to drizzle. Love the late night vibe this place brings because customers are all sitting outside since there's no seating inside. Just wish the surrounding buildings in this lot had some night life or other eateries!! Maybe one day..

Was craving pizza for lunch so decided to give Prime Pizza a try. The store is nice, new and beautiful and they offer a lunch special - which I thought was a win, win. But reality is you get over cooked pizza. For starters, the store wasn't crowded, but people were waiting because one person needed to sign in and the other guy standing around said he can't clock in yet so can't take my order. I honestly don't get why he was standing by an iPad to take orders if that was the case. Someone else ended up taking my order and before I could make a receipt selection the kid who told me he couldn't take my order starts clocking in takes over the screen so I can't get a receipt or register for an account. He later had to go back to my transaction so I could get both. Now the pizza.. just my luck the kid standing around ends up reheating the pizza slices I ordered. But instead of reheating pizzas in sequence the orders came in, he took the order after mine and reheated their pizza first. The only problem is I didn't want a corner slice, but the person who ordered after me got the middle slice, so I was told my only option was a corner. When I got home to eat my pizza, I was super disappointed. If you look at the picture, you can tell my pizza was way over baked. It wasn't exactly warm either. I tasted burnt bits and this maybe my worst pizza experience ever. There's a place in Costa Mesa called Sugo that has a similar concept, but they've mastered their process and their pizza is amazing! Prime Pizza can probably learn something from a place like that because what I ordered was a super disappointment. The normal round cut was overcooked and dry - and the square pizza - it was overcooked on the sides, but the middle wasn't so bad.

No organized line and it took forever.
John M.

Waited 2 hours and the line devolved into complete chaos. I only got my pizza just as I was asking for a refund. I didn't trust they would process it, the haphazard way they were calling out orders randomly and holding a bunch of orders in the back. No organization. You can't do this to pizza. New York slices has to be fast. They also should have started handing out freebies or coupons. It was a real waste of a Friday night when you're trying to get something quick.

Apparently everyone knows about Prime Pizza except me lol. This new location is close to home, and we were in a pizza kinda mood, so I decided to check it out. Inside it's small, and it's more of a take out or order ahead type of place. There are a few tables and chairs outside if you do wanna eat there. I ordered ahead and had to wait a few minutes which was fine with me. However, their line and pick up system is a little chaotic and they had people coming in and heading straight to the counter for pick ups while the rest of us were waiting in line. Customer service was friendly overall. The pizza itself is good, but honestly it isn't going to replace my go to spot in La Habra (Blackjack). It's a bit greasy and didn't really pack a flavor punch.

I tried Tony's Little Italy Pizza in Placentia for the first time and I can attest that THIS IS IN NO-WAY AN "AUTHENTIC CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA" as advertised. It's not even close. I can't fault the enthusiasm of family frontmen like Taylor or his Uncle, Tony, for their contagious enthusiasm for their product, but all other comparisons end there. I lived in Chicago for more than a decade working for Leo Burnett Advertising/Chicago where the real Chicago deep dish pizza's, the standards by which you would judge "authentic," are Giordano's, Gino's East, Pizzaria Uno, and Lou Malnati's (a distant 4th in the rankings). These pizzas are HEAVY with quality ingredients and though deep dish, the crust is something that never gets in the way. In TRUE CHICAGO DEEP DISH PIZZA ingredients are 90% of the pizza, the crust 10% or less. The opposite is the case at Tony's where they make pizza's that are ALL dough and FEW ingredients. Tony's Little Italy Pizza offers a poor rendition of true Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. I ordered a 12" sausage, spinach, and mushroom - the exact same pizza I'd order at Giordano's, Gino's East, Pizzaria UNO, or Lou Malnati's countless times. What I got was a pizza that is 90% tasteless dried bread called a crust and a few tablespoons of ingredients (sausage, spinach, mushrooms) disguised under a heavy tomato sauce. In many places the unappetizing crust extended all the way to the surface hidden only by the tomato sauce topping on my pizza. Looks good but the deception ends there. I got almost no cheese, few mushrooms, skimpy sausage, and miserly spinach. This may be what one call's Chicago STYLE (and that's what Tony's should call it) pizza out here on the west coast, but this pizza definitely would not carry its own weight in Chicago. If you've eaten Chicago Deep Dish Pizza in Chicago where I've been you will easily be able to relate to everything I am saying. If you've never had a real Chicago Deep Dish Pizza then be forewarned. This isn't the real deal. It's what Little Caesar's would do if they tried to sell Chicago Deep Dish Pizza. All dough, no substance. As Scotty said in Star Trek TOS, " Fool me once-shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." We won't be going back. Appearances are deceiving!

The Minestrone soup made by the owner's mother is best in class...one of the greatest dishes served at any restaurant in Orange County (I very highly recommend!!). The cuisine from the kitchen is consistently delicious. What is equally as delighting is the friendly service staff. I just left there for my third time and have had three different servers and they have all been absolutely fantastic. Each time I leave this restaurant, I immediately think about when I'm going back. Date of visit: Sep 8, 2026…read more What a disappointing birthday dinner. I came here with high hopes of finding one of those hidden-gem, hole-in-the-wall Italian places, but unfortunately, it all ended up blowing up in my face. The biggest problem was simple: everything--from the soup to the main dishes--was way too salty. We were a party of six, and three of us ordered pasta with the garlic cream sauce: the Pescatore, Shrimp & Scallop, and Clam. The sauce wasn't thickened enough, so it was much too soupy for a pasta dish, and the taste of white wine was very prominent. The garlic cream sauce was salty too, although nowhere near as crazy salty as the Chicken Piccata, Tortellini Giovanni, and Minestrone. Chicken Piccata: Like everything else we tried, this dish was just way too salty. The lemon-butter sauce was completely overwhelmed by the capers, and eating it honestly felt like shoveling forkfuls of salt into my mouth. The only saving grace was the chicken itself, which was cooked well and had a nice golden-brown exterior. Tortellini Giovanni: Just okay. I've definitely had better. The cheese filling inside the tortellini wasn't particularly good, although the Italian sausage was pretty tasty. The more I ate, though, the saltier, heavier, and oilier the dish seemed to get. Overall, there was really nothing special about it. Minestrone: SO salty that I couldn't even finish it. I'm not sure if this is simply their recipe or if the soup had been refrigerated and reheated to the point where some of the water had evaporated, leaving the salt increasingly concentrated. It's too bad because the underlying flavor was actually there--it was just completely ruined by the amount of salt. Pizza: Just okay. The dough wasn't bad, and I actually liked that it had some chewiness to it. But for the price, I'd rather go somewhere else. I really wanted to love this place, especially since this was my birthday dinner. I wasn't expecting fancy or perfect--I was hoping for a charming little hole-in-the-wall with really good, comforting Italian food. Unfortunately, we left super disappointed.

Well, fast forward to this year...and HE was the one who suggested we finally give it a try! We are SO glad we listened to him! The pizza here reminds me of the kind of pizza I would eat in Italy. But hear me out...TRUST THE MENU! Order what jumps out at you and let the ingredients speak for themselves. We've tried the Contadina, Funghi e Salsiccia, and Rocco's Pie, and every single one was delicious. But hands down, the Vespa is the STAR OF THE SHOW! And then there's the homemade spicy honey. My sister originally chose Terra because she saw a picture of one of their salads with salmon and knew immediately that was what she wanted. We had no idea we were about to discover a new favorite restaurant. 10/10 -- I've already bookmarked Terra because I will absolutely be back. When we arrived, we told our server we had never been there before and asked what she recommended. Her descriptions of the food were fantastic, and she steered us toward the wood-grilled peaches with burrata and arugula. Oh. My. Goodness. Absolutely delicious! The grilled peaches, creamy burrata and arugula were such a wonderful combination. Then the salad came out, with salmon added. I took my first bite and was literally speechless. It was an explosion of flavor -- the avocado, salmon, sesame dressing and everything else going on in that salad just worked. The salmon costs extra, but it was absolutely worth it. The peach dish and the salad were completely different flavor experiences, and honestly I would happily order both of them again. We were talking about how we were gonna come back and try to resist ordering the same thing over again, but that will be a challenge. Of course, we were at a wood-fired pizza restaurant, so we HAD to try the pizza. We ordered half-and-half. One side was the fingerling potato pizza, especially after our server told us the story about the owner's daughter wanting fingerling potatoes on her pizza and how that helped inspire the restaurant. Obviously, after hearing that story, we had to try the pizza that started it all! And it did not disappoint. I can definitely see myself ordering that again. The other half was the salami pizza with the honey drizzle. It was supposed to have some heat -- my sister could taste it, although I couldn't -- and the honey made it a really interesting combination. Not something I would normally think to order, but definitely worth trying. I also ordered the citrus agave, thinking it was basically a fancy name for lemonade. It wasn't! Lemon, orange and lime made it much more interesting, with just a slight bitterness from the citrus that balanced the sweetness. Delicious and different. We sat upstairs, where there was a wonderful breeze coming through on a summer evening. The whole atmosphere was charming and relaxed, the service was excellent, and the food was memorable. The biggest surprise? Terra is right near my office, and I never knew it was there. Definitely a 10/10. I came because of a recommendation, and now I'm recommending it to everyone else.
