    Beer, wine and a movie!!
    Rosa Esmeralda S.

They've got beer and wine now. 5 dollar movies on Tuesday, cant beat that. I like this theater because it's not freezing like most.

Everything I wrote in the previous review is still very very true. This place should do seminars to show what customer service is. The last time my wife and I went to the movies, I noticed a sign that said "Prime Cinemas Supports Our Troops". Upon further inspection, they don't just love troops, they love veterans, and the families of veterans. Here's the deal they have: The Prime Cinemas Military Discount Policy: For Veterans & Active Duty as well as their spouses and children 17 and under. Requires valid military or veteran ID. EVERY day, EVERY film is $5.75. spouses and children of veteran or service member get free small popcorn. Tuesdays, FREE small popcorn and soda with paid admission. Not only that, on your birthday you get in for free too! SO, yesterday was my stepson's 13th birthday. we went in, he got in for free, they even gave the discount to the 2 friends my stepson had with him. At this point, I'm happier than a pig knee deep in manure. However, the story gets even better. as the boys got settled, I ran back out and asked the manager if they could sing happy birthday to my stepson. They got the people in the theatre to sing along. He was embarrassed... I fulfilled my obligation as a parent to make them happy, and also embarrass them whenever possible. The boys loved the movie, and I was a happy padre. Here's the video of them singing happy birthday to my stepson: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiuHg4yOE1k All in all, This theatre understands and embraces customer service. I love this place and hope they stick around in RB for many many years to come! Getting the discounts for being a Veteran, and the level of customer service they provided is one of the reasons why Red Bluff truly is a great place to live. Thank you Prime Cinemas Red Bluff for being an exceptional business in our town!

Rude girl "supervisor" at front desk sitting on her butt doing nothing. The place is extremely small and had garbage on the floor. My boyfriend and I do not live in this town. He is here for work. We wanted to watch a movie together since I came to visit him with our son but were told we couldn't because we wanted to watch a rated R movie. They have a policy that no child under the age of 7 are allowed in Rated R movies ... our son is 3 months old. My boyfriend goes in after I walk out and asks to speak to a manager apparently the girl was the closest they had to one. Another boy tells my boyfriend that it's not about the age but about the child possible crying during the film. I dont see how that correlates, a child could cry in a pg movie or any other movie. No wonder this ran down little cinema was a ghost town when we walked in. They obviously dont want people to come in. Definitely do not recommend this place and will never step foot in that unkept place again.

My compensation passes, which can't be verified of their monetary value

I was able to pre-purchase the tickets and choose out seats online which I love to do ( I hate seat anxiety) and you can even pre-purchase your food to be picked up in a little cubby by the ticket checker. I almost wish I had done that since the line for the food was so long but you would have to stand in line for alcohol purchases anyway. They sell beer and wine here along with all the standard cinema foods. I don't know if I will be back here but it was a good experience.

Really disappointed in the lack of consideration by the staff regarding their outside food policy…read more I take the bus here and often make an evening of it because the ride is about an hour each way. I get dinner and will sometimes do some grocery shopping, handle whatever else I have in the area before relaxing for the movie then heading home. The other day I had Mod Pizza which is right around the corner in the same shopping center. After dinner it was movie time and I had about half a pizza left in a to go box. The staff refused to allow me to take my left overs in to the theater. I explained my situation and I even told them I was willing to purchase a snack or a drink because I didn't want to waste the pizza but was still refused. Because I had purchased my ticket at the kiosk I had no other option but to throw away my left overs which was going to be my work lunch for the next day, a whole meal. I feel like their had to some level of nuance and understand when it comes to policies like this and a digression of maybe a manager. Really glad I didn't get groceries that day. With a community so long it's unlikely I will take the bus simply to only go to the movies and nothing else.., so it's likely I will be seeing many less movies if at all in this theater. I will say the staff was nice. I understand policies, I understand how customer service can be, they don't get paid enough to argue with people and I wouldn't put them in that position after hearing me out and still making the decisions to refuse me entry.

Smallest theater I've ever been…read more This theater is located in the town of Willits. It has three movie screens in the building. We watched The Meg in an evening show and the price was fairly cheap at $9 a person for general admission. Don't expect a chain of movie theaters with multiple screens or reclining seats & self-service ticketing kiosks. This is a small town movie house with friendly service and a nice smile from the young people working at the theater. Pay for tickets at the outside window and they will buzz you in. As soon as you're inside the theater the concession stand and snack bar is right there in front of you with just a few steps. Inside the movie theater is very clean with new chairs. The red chairs (or was it maroon?) do not recline but they are comfy. TRIVIA: Ever wondered why movie theaters have red seats? It's because red is the first color that is lost to our sight in low-light conditions... anything red virtually disappears once the house lights go down. The movies showing at the time were pretty current. The Meg was only on its second day after its release date. Other two movies showing were Christopher Robin and Mission Impossible. I love the spacious leg room in between rows of seats, the aisles are wide as well. The theater was not full on a Saturday evening, very nice date night with the hubby. I enjoyed my experience in this theater. Review #1114

Five stars isn't high enough…read more I went to the Pageant Theater and even before I walked in, I noticed this place is on a killer block: a movie theater, vintage clothing store, hair salon and coffee shop all in a row. It's the perfect brick and mortar/ walkable town experience. When I went in, I felt like I was in a different era. The building itself has so much character and such a unique layout, I felt like I was Travis Bickle from taxi driver in that scene where he gets off his shift and goes to a movie theater after (but in a wholesome way of course). It's so assuring to know that places like this are still out there. If you're a Chico local or just blowing through the town, be sure to make a stop here because you definitely won't regret it. Can't wait to go back.

If you get there early, you can grab a seat on one of the big sofas on the front row. The audio has cut out now 3 times. It is a very popular movie playing so I would assume this just wouldn't happen. I also want to mention how incredibly expensive their snack bar is. A small popcorn is $7? This isn't an AMC or other big movie chain. It's Oroville, CA. Even their drink prices are on the higher end. It takes 2 minutes to google how much they charge and spoiler alert...it's 700% of what they buy their supplies for. Overall, not a great experience. I'd rather go to Chico's movie theater and enjoy no audio mess ups, comfier chairs, and an overall better experience. Also just want to mention that I know of at least 3 people who've had their cars broken into at this establishment. Absolutely insane.

They have great matinee deals on Tuesdays (happens to be my day off each week) so I find myself here whenever I'm in town. The problems I have w the bigger cities movies, is that they're too big and crowded for me - and way too expensive. The prices here for the concession stand are very reasonable and the staff is so friendly! The bathrooms are really clean and have a lot of stalls, so unlike the big cities, I'm not ever waiting in a long line to use the restroom. The vibe is so relaxing, fun and comfortable. The last 10-15 years, whenever I go to the movies in the bigger cities, it kind of stresses me out lol -like, order tix online to be sure to get a seat or pick your seat online etc. I'm just over it and love how this reminds me of going to the movies when I was little in the early 80s. It's just a simple, well priced, good time. And even in the heat or cold, the parking is so close to the place that, unlike other places, I don't have to battle the elements and walk hella far fr the parking spot to the inside lobby. And inside is nice and small too- the big city theaters have become so huge it's so much walking and waiting in lines. Staff attitudes in the larger theaters are also not great, whereas, we've been coming here now for 5 years and are always met w the friendliest staff. I love this theater.
