Very cozy environment and super friendly staff that you can always tell are super happy to be…read morethere. Also much more affordable movie tickets than anything else you'd find in Mendocino or the surrounding counties. I tried out their new 21 and up theater two days before it became just 21 and up, and the reclining seats are awesome, especially if you want to sit near the front without breaking your neck. I can't drink but a theater with no annoying children or babies??? 10/10. Can't wait to be allowed in there again in a few months haha. Also best fountain drinks. One of the only theaters that actually has Dr. Pepper instead of Mr. Pibb LOL.

I was here during first Fridays. I went in once to buy popcorn and had no issue. After I finished…read moremy popcorn I needed to wash my hands and get some candy. A man was standing in front of the door talking to someone. I said excuse me and he asked what I want. And I said "oh sorry excuse me I just need to get by" he held the door closed tight by the handle. Blocking me with his body and said what do you want again really rudely. I then noticed the Noyo theater hat so I presume he was the owner possibly. I said oh I just wanted to wash my hands and buy some candy. I was so intimidated at that point I went in and bought candy and washed my hands and left the event. I had not been in to see a movie since the new owners bought it but have been in Willits my whole life going to the theater and never been treated this way. My response since I can't reply to you: pretty poor attempt to cover up sheer rudeness. I had already bought popcorn and was going back in to buy candy. Therefore concessions to go. Which I won't be doing again. Asking how you can help someone and straight up holding the door closed on them and being rude are two different things of which I know the difference. I go out of my way during these events to buy concessions because I see posts about needing to support a locally owned theater and I don't usually go out to movies. It's unfortunate a business I have gone out of my way to support even if all I can do is buy some concessions feels the need to physically hold the door closed so I can't come in.

Five stars isn't high enough…read more I went to the Pageant Theater and even before I walked in, I noticed this place is on a killer block: a movie theater, vintage clothing store, hair salon and coffee shop all in a row. It's the perfect brick and mortar/ walkable town experience. When I went in, I felt like I was in a different era. The building itself has so much character and such a unique layout, I felt like I was Travis Bickle from taxi driver in that scene where he gets off his shift and goes to a movie theater after (but in a wholesome way of course). It's so assuring to know that places like this are still out there. If you're a Chico local or just blowing through the town, be sure to make a stop here because you definitely won't regret it. Can't wait to go back.

The last of Chico's independent movie theaters -- they screen international and independent films,…read moreand offer a superb selection outside the typical mega-plex repertoires. If you get there early, you can grab a seat on one of the big sofas on the front row. (You may want to bring a throw pillow or bulky jacket to provide lumbar support -- these are pretty tired, but still comfy if you have the right additional cushions.) Fresh, house-made popcorn. Plus, you can bring in coffee/beverages/eats from the cafe next door (when it's open). You can't beat the prices, especially because you're getting first-run international and independent films in Chico! General Admission: $6.50 Seniors / Children: $4.50 Matinee Price: $4.00 Cheap Skate Monday Nights: $3.00
