They set up an appointment and did all the paperwork through the insurance. I only had to be there when the technician arrived, no other work needed on my end. I had a large crack in my windshield and put a claim through my insurance - purposely picked this company given the great rating and female-owned company. They contacted me next day, set up an appointment. The workers showed up promptly. The reason for the low rating is the workmanship. I watched the two gentlemen take out the old windshield and put in the new by way of stepping all over the interior of my vehicle (seats, doors/door handles, etc). Once done, I went out to inspect the vehicle and there were dirty footprints all over my tan and black leather seats, all over the sides of the doors, some kind of black plastic shards all over the dash and in my cup holders, plus dirty fingerprints everywhere. I attempted to scrub the dirt out and will have to get my vehicle professionally cleaned now. In the age of COVID, you'd think they'd sanitize or wipe down the vehicle once done - or be more careful initially. Long story long - go with a different company. I loved having a main contact immediately, not a faceless voice behind a computer screen. I forgot about my quotes and contacted Prime via Yelp Message again to verify my quote was still good even though a week had passed. The tech called me at 815, said he was 15 minutes away and verified directions with me, He was right on time, 838 am. He was professional, friendly and pleasant. I felt very comfortable leaving him with my vehicle and letting him do his job. Exactly 30 minutes after he arrived, he told me he was done, 908. The work looked great, I paid by check, easy. Prime Auto Glass was professional and courteous! My company uses the Ford transits and while most auto glass places didn't have the item since the transits were fairly new; Prime Auto Glass was still able to get it for us! The installer was on time and worked relatively quick and within a couple of hours we had new windshield. So far it's holding up very well and after a year my windshield is doing dandy.
