Wow! What a great place! Been looking forward to it opening and it did not disappoint. My husband & I decided to have lunch, he got the cheesesteak ,which was so delicious! I got fried chicken Karaage style also really good and the sauce that went with was fantastic! There is obviously a great meat dept, and there is also a lovely produce section plus all the rubs, salts,spices and even a small cheese case with some not so ordinary cheeses. Friendly staff. Seem to be building a good business. However, went there for lunch with my daughter and we ordered. I ordered the patty melt which was very salty. I told that to the server and he said he would let the kitchen know. I believe the grilled onions had been salted way too much. My daughter ordered the dip and it was very good. Looking back I am disappointed that the server did not offer me something else or to remake the sandwich. I should have been more clear. Not going back anytime soon. read more

As a first time customer here, I am refreshingly surprised and amazed. This place is your next date night spot with live entertainment, your next "I don't wanna cook dinner" excuse with the freshest food and flavors around. Very nice, clean looking open space in general. We checked out all the meats and cheeses and thought it was hugely expensive. Not going to be shopping there. We stayed for dinner and some music. The music was really nice and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The food was quite un-impressive. My risotto was boring, over saucy and nothing special, and many of the chicken chunks in it (which they charge extra for) still had the skin on them. Echhh. Needed garlic or something, too. My husbands cheesesteak looked tiny and un-remarkable. Everything was expensive, especially for the portion sizes. Might go back for wine and music one day though. read more

My son lives 1/2 mile from this new eatery and has now been there three times. They have only been open three weeks. We joined his family and more for an early graduation dinner for one of our granddaughters and oh boy! What a treat to have this spot open. This is a combination full on butcher shop, casual restaurant, brewery, provisions shop and more. They have live music every night between five and seven, which is when they close. This is a very limited pub style menu but oh my goodness! This is the best Philly cheesesteak I have ever had in California, made from ribeye and a house made cheese wiz. I'm still thinking about this sandwich twelve hours later. Everything on the table, and there was pretty much one of everything at least, was amazing. This chef has some mad experience. This is such a cool place. Three years in the planning and execution, I was told, and it's obvious the care and thought and craftsmanship that went into this whole operation. I could not be more impressed. Thursday night and the place was hopping. The staff was attentive, friendly, and so grateful that we were there. They already treat my son and his family like family. Chaos is how I describe this place. I went when they opened and had a delicious meal. The second time I went the food was just average. I gave them a 3rd try and they only had pizza on the menu! I was told their chef and kitchen staff had all quit. Now there is a new team, but zero info on their website. They have not posted a menu on their website since they opened. Perhaps they are more focused on the butcher shop and the restaurant is just an afterthought. I wish them well, but this place feels like the saying about "too many cooks spoil the broth." Came in here to buy meat from the counter. They were touted to have best beef around. Bought 2 rib eyes that looked really good. Very nice surroundings. Paid for my 2 rib eyes and when the cashier rang up the steaks she did the pad is going to ask a question before you sign. Sure enough it asked for a tip WTF for? $93 isn't enough for 2 steak they greedily asked for a tip too. Take a lot of nerve to ask for a tip for wrapping up 2 steaks. read more

Have been here three times now. Continue to be impressed. While the burger is great, the sliced steak sandwich with au jus is excellent. Plenty of perfectly cooked and sliced beef on a delicious bun. I wanted to try everything. Ended up with the carnivore dip sandwich. It was perfect. Soft bread. Meat was perfectly (not overly or too rare) cooked. Au jus was legit. I'm happy when I have one "go to" order at a place. This has the potential for a long list of "go to" orders. Did I mention the house made root beer? The concept is cool, and the indoor space has a nice vibe- especially the bar area which we liked. The somm was very helpful in suggesting some wines to go with our lunch order, which was also really good. The reason I would not recommend is the prices - it was 39 bucks for my sandwich and side of fries, before tip. I know all things are getting more expensive, but I think they might need to adjust the pricing a bit before I would go back. read more

I went yesterday and this place is great. I got a pack of frozen sausages for the holiday weekend and tried their homemade soda and brewery. My daughter loved their soda and their Kolsch beer is great. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. At this point i have not tried the food yet. I grill tomorrow but from what i saw in the butcher shop, these will be excellent. I highly recommend this place and will try their restaurant soon. read more

This is the best new local hangout spot! This place has everything you need and more! I walked in with my 6 month old daughter and we were immediately greeted with nothing but smiles, good vibes and even compliments from Susan, she is quite lovely. The food was great with decent size portions, and the Pilsner I had was amazing! (I NEVER order Pilsner either.) Maddy was our server and she is simply wonderful. The people are so nice and attentive. My daughter was very pleased, mostly because she got all kinds of attention from everybody I already cannot wait to go back there! read more
