The best!!! The owner Annie greeted me warmly as soon as I walked in. I got a pedicure and the lady who did mine was excellent! She was a perfectionist and took great care to do a perfect job. I was in the area, badly needing a pedicure, so I phoned in to see if they had availability. Luckily they did and they were ready for me when I came in. Annie, who I believe is the owner(?) couldn't have been sweeter, from the time I called to the minute I left. My first impression is that she treats each customer with friendliness and care individually which was so nice to see. Oki, who did my pedicure, did a good job. I kind of like that they just give you the massage without asking. It makes it seem like it's part of the service. Absolutely the worst service I have ever received. Came in there, asking for a fill in, have tips on, no chip as well. Beginning starting working on my hands and painfully scrapping it off my nails and said it hurt and forcefully throwing my fingers around. Really didn't seem to care that she was hurting me and continued to work on my nails. Called her boss due to something being wrong with my nails from the past place I was at. Tells me I have to wait for the boss to come back from the train station to take a look. Really I have to wait, even though you just talked to your boss and conversed about it and the only customer in the store??! Then what made me walk out was telling me either wait or go back to your other place. Ok I get that, but they left my nails looking like half broken with residue all over them and doesn't even look halfway decent. Thanks for your world class service. read more

You know how people have their "go-to" places? Prima Nails is the go-to nail salon my sister would go to. I'm sad that this place is in the Fountains strip mall because they would probably have more customers if it wasn't tucked away. They are super sweet and really do a good job to making you feel pampered. Leather arm/hand holders are super thoughtful so that you don't have to hold them up yourself (like some other places I've been to). Little water bottles and hot towels seem so elegant in a suburban nail salon. I really haven no complaints. Yes, they give a nice hand massage before they paint your nails. Yes, they give you a nice foot/leg massage before they paint your toes. Yes, they give you a simple back massage as their work is drying on your hands and feet. It may be a little strange, but they are just being nice. To top it off, they escorted my friend and I out to my car and buckled my seat belt. I'm pretty sure it is because our nails weren't completely dry. CRAZY RIGHT? That is customer service at its best. Its been about 5 days and my nail polish is holding strong and my perspective of this place is holding strong. For $40.00 I got a mani and pedi and I'll gladly go there again. It is my second time here and they are fantastic. I've been to many nail salons in the area and this one by far is my favorite. Everyone is super friendly and gentle with your hands and feet. They give great massages to your shoulders and arms after they're done with your no chip, which is the first time I've had that included. The prices are also extremely reasonable for the awesome service that you are receiving. And it was also the first time that when they removed my no chip it didn't ruin my nails. I have been coming here for over 5 years now. I love the place. It's in a quiet area in the town center and the staff are very nice and friendly. During winter months clients get free hot stone and parafin treatment on feet along with a pedicure, which I think is a great touch. Would love to recommend Ashley cause she's awesome! read more

I have only been here once and will continue to go back. I've gone to other nail salons in the area, but none of them compare to Prima. The salon is very clean and the employees are very friendly. You get little bottles of water and the chairs are nice and comfy. The employees sit and have a conversation with you unlike other places where they talk amongst themselves. I must say that this salon is a little bit more expensive than other places I've gone, but it is worth it in the end. I got a manicure and pedicure when I went but wasn't disappointed. I've gone to other places and left unhappy. I will continue to give my business to Prima. Oh, as a bonus, they walk you to your car and buckle you in so you don't ruin your nails. Have been going here for almost 7 years now! Absolutely love the staff Annie the owner , Angie , and Susie . They know how to take care of me ! I'm always greeted with a warm welcome and they always ask me about my son tho I don't think they have not met him yet ! hehe I think they remember me coming in every two weeks while I was pregnant . The manicure and pedicures last awhile than most nail salons I've been to. They never rush . It can get busy at times , but it is worth the wait . I tend to come during the week days during the afternoon which is less busy . This place is also very clean which is a must for me ! A complimentary water and massages keep me coming back . They even helped me out to my car and put my seatbelt on for me when I was leaving, so i would not mess up my nails. I absolutely ADORE Prima Nails!! What struck me first was that the staff there are so super friendly and very humble. They take the time to actually get to know you and talk to you about anything. From what I've observed, everyone who walks in there openly chats to everyone about their lives. It's SUCH a beautiful, calm environment. Second, I observed that their work is completely amazing!! I had first visited because I tried 3 nail salons around my house for a decent no chip and... they were very chip prone, so needless to say I was fed up. I had heard they were amazing, but kind of pricey. I tried them and I fell. in. LOVE! The no chip I got actually lasted the guaranteed 2 weeks!! About the pricing, they are about, on average, $5 more expensive than the salons I'd been going to before. However, with the care, attention, and quality work I received, it's ENTIRELY worth it!! I did not regret my spending one single bit. Not to mention, they give you a very good massage after. They seriously treat you like family there, and the owner, Annie, and all of the other beautiful staff work tirelessly to keep their customers beyond satisfied. I visited today, and only after a few visits, they all said hi to me and greeted me by name, then was offered coffee and a chilled water bottle before my amazing no chip manicure that left me ready to take on my next few weeks! Since it was pretty painful, I thought the lady was going to town and really getting my cuticles. Nope! I was sadly mistaken. I've been here 2 times. The decor is very pleasant and they give you refreshments. However, both time the same woman did my nails. Each time she made ALL my fingers bleed! She was too rough with my nails, even though I told her the second time I went not to be so rough. It hurt so much! Since when does getting your nails done hurt? I'm visiting from out of town and stopped in here to get my nails done before an event. It had the highest ratings of anywhere local to where I'm staying. The environment was clean and they saw me quickly for a walk in. However it was very clear to me that they were trying to rush through my manicure. I got a "no chip" which is actually shellack (although I asked for gel, the manicurist insisted they are the same thing) and the price was good for it. However I felt like I was hassling the staff by being there, which isn't what I want to feel when I'm treating myself. She did my nails very quickly and while in the salon they looked good, once I got home and looked more closely they are very spotty around the edges, and there isn't a single nail that has full coverage. One nail was not fully set from the light and part of the polish has already come off from it a half hour later. Another finger had polish on my skin. I'd rate them as looking sloppy on close inspection. We'll see how they hold up. :/ read more

The only reason this gest a star is that my nails looked good when done with this awful place. This was not my first bad experience here. The first time I went in was terrible but I thought I'd give it another chance. The reason I'm writing this is for my second visit. I had a 10:30 appointment with my daughter. We were leaving out of town so we didn't have an option to leave. We did not get taken until 11:15. We were close to leaving and getting nails done on vacation. The lady kept saying sorry. Then my chair was broke. There were other chairs available but she just said sorry. So by now with the first visit being similar and this one being a disaster, I decided to tip her $3 for my $30 pedi. Yes, %10, I would usually tip %20. But I was ticked. She had the nerve to complain out loud to me about her tip in front of the whole place. I was quietly telling her with my small tip. So I gave it back to her. I told her very loudly that she was only getting a $3 tip because she took me 45min after my appointment and gave me a broken chair when other chairs were available. Please know, there are others that have had run ins with this place. Over priced run of the mill nail place. Sorry lady, there are nail places all over. Unfortunately she is right next to the BEST coffee and donut place around. Go try Sweet Mornings. read more

Prima Nails is the best nail salon I've ever been too! The owner Annie and her husband, Charlie are the sweetest people ever! The whole staff is very friendly!! You feel so at home when you walk in because everyone says Hi to you and you'll be attended to right when you walk in the door! The environment is peaceful and relaxing. I get sleepy every time I'm there because that's how relaxed I get. The prices are fair for the service you receive. You get the spa experience without the spa prices. They really go the extra mile with giving you excellent customer service. They give you a cute mini bottle of water to keep you refreshed and hydrated while your there. I thought the service was very friendly and the quality was fairly well done, especially for the price. It was very relaxing and they ambience added to it. No loud music or tv shows you can't understand. I enjoyed the shoulder massage when my nails were drying, they have a different form of massage that includes some pounding and kind of "slapping" but i enjoyed it. The ONLY thing i really could have done without was the "seatbelt" service when they try to buckle you in, just a little out of my comfort zone but I appreciated the offer. I have been going to Prima Nails for since we moved here several years ago and I really enjoy their manicure/pedicure services. In comparison to other nail places, it is very clean in a calm environment. Going to PN is a treat--it is relaxing and you feel pampered. The whole staff works very hard to make sure you're satisfied. They will even dig out your keys and help you to your car so you don't ruin your nails. The shoulder massage at the end is always my favorite part. They do get very busy in the summer/weekends--so you may want to call ahead so you do not have to wait. read more

Went for Mani-Pedi this afternoon as a walk-in. They started preping my nails then sent me to get my pedi. Didn't seem like more than I've gotten anywhere else except they gave me a quick back pounding.. that I could do without. Total charge for regular pedi ($30) and French nails with no-chip ($35) a bit pricey when I usually pay $50 for the same elsewhere! Nobody walked me to the car or snap in seat belt, but my nails were dry by the time I left.. No bye bye, thank you, come again...but on to the next person. She was working on my nails, then the other lady's nails while mine were in the dryer.. then back to me... Relaxing music was playing.. tv was off, which was fine! Love this place! Everyone that works at Prima Nails is wonderful. The place is VERY clean and you can see that the employees all take pride in their work. Their prices are a little higher than the other "cheapie" nail places, but there is a reason for this. The service is exceptional, cleanliness is a priority for them, and they go above and beyond to give you quality manicures and pedicures. I don't mind spending a few dollars more to have these perks. I schedule a nail date with 8 girls here for a bridal shower and everything turned out awesome. We got water bottles and candy, and the guy that ran the gelato shop next store even brought everyone free gelato.
