Though she was booked all day and was traveling the next day, she still let me come by during her only free hour since I was so sore post-race. The massage work is terrific. Tamara is very strong, but more importantly is also very skilled and is able to locate the knotted areas that need the most work. She's also very knowledgeable; I had initially asked for a deep tissue massage, but she explained that was too intense for one day after the race and did a mix of Swedish and deep tissue work. I was amazed by how much better my body felt the next day. The pricing is competitive, especially for such a good quality massage. Tamara is also flexible and allowed me to use Chase QuickPay, which was very convenient. I would most definitely recommend her and I will definitely be going back!

This is exactly what I got. There actually was a student there, so both her and the masseuse both worked their magic on me. It was the most intense massage I've ever had (not for wimps!) but that's because I asked for it, and I needed it. I felt amazing after. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the masseuse got there almost 15 minutes late (I know I scheduled my appt last minute, but if she couldn't make it then I could have just scheduled it for 4:15 instead of rushing there just to wait) and it was over 15 minutes of me laying there with a heating pad on my back before anyone came in. This got frustrating after a while because I could hear everyone talking up front so it wasn't peaceful, I didn't know it would be this long of an ordeal (I assumed maybe 5 minutes max of this would happen to warm my muscles up) and I have a heating pad at home if I want 15+ minutes of sitting with it on. They, then, took me back and the room was FREEZING. I said this to the lady before she walked out, but again, she didn't speak much English. They only provided me with a thin sheet. A different lady ended up my therapist and sadly it gets worse. She, also, didn't speak any english and proceeded to start the "massage". After 5 minutes of her barely touch me I asked her to go deeper to which she couldn't understand and we went back and forth until she found a word that worked. I kept saying I was cold and asking for another sheet or blanket but, again, she couldn't understand me. Finally she put a small towel on me that barely covered 1/5 of me. If all of this wasn't terrible enough, she started wiping me down with a luke warm wet towel after each section when I was already so cold. Needless to say, for a $103 massage I expected a heck of a lot more. Waste of money to not even feel like I had any massage pressure. Live and learn.
