I never write yelp reviews, so you know it was a good massage because here I am... Jen was able to fit me in ASAP on short notice. Her massage room is extremely calming, clean and professional and her hands are magic! This was the best massage I've had in a long time by far! She focuses on the areas that need it without causing any discomfort until my muscles melted. Definitely better than any chain massage...I will be a repeat customer for sure!! read more

I've never had a massage before and boy I didn't know what I was missing. I have had a sore neck for over a week and decided to get a massage. I contacted Jen and she was able to squeeze me in the same day. When I arrived she took the time to get to know about my issue. The massage focused on my neck, shoulders and lower back. When it was finished my heads range of motion was dramatically improved and the pain and discomfort was gone. I will absolutely be back. read more

Ive had 3 massages in my life and this one by far was the best. I play sports and run a lot so my legs are constantly sore and feeling strained. After the massage my legs and whole body felt much more relaxed and able to perform in my next physical activity. Very knowledgeable in the different muscles and techniques to help them feel better. Even going above and beyond in explaining different stretches to help with those muscles between massages. 10/10 read more

Jen made herself available right away on a weekend with less than 24 hours notice. She works from her home, but it is very professional and comfortable. She is very knowledgeable and the massage was very relaxing. Jen was pleasant and I highly recommend her to all! Thank you, Jen! read more

First and foremost- Thank you so much to Jen! I've had lower back pain most of my life with pain levels from a slight dull pain to painful shooting pain in my nerves. I have an L4 vertebrae that was broken in my early childhood that requires special care. I also must wear a duty belt for my career in law enforcement so you know my back takes a beating. Recently- I have been in great pain as my lower back, hip, and sciatica have been extremely out of whack and flaring up. I have been seeing a chiropractor weekly for over a month now and he recommended massage to help with the issues I have been experiencing. I yelped massage in the Schaumburg area and decided to give Jen a try based on testimonials and not wanting to jump through the massage envy, elements massage, business type hoops. I used to be a member of massage envy but hated being tied to the company. Jen was able to fit me in at the last minute with excellent communication back and forth between us. The room was clean and exactly what you would expect to help calm and relax yourself. Jen is a professional who is very knowledgeable of the human body and muscles and nerves that need to be massaged for what issues you have. I was hesitant at first but I am very happy that I booked her. I will definitely be back in the next few days to weeks. Plus she has great respect for, and supports our military and law enforcement. Which is harder to find in the Chicago area than you would expect. Thank you Jen Taylor! 5 Stars! read more

My friend actually surprised me with an 80 minute full body massage by Jen (I know, ridiculously thoughtful friend, right)? I cannot begin to recommend Jen highly enough. As a physical therapist myself, I must tell you this woman knows anatomy. The first 15 minutes all I could think was "I have to remember this for my patients...It is so obvious how well she understands anatomy right now...I haven't given massage therapists enough respect...this is so amazing." Then I melted. People. This woman. I have never felt more relaxed or healed in my life than I did after receiving a full body massage from this woman. She was extremely professional, extremely open to feedback, and very obviously possesses a heart to heal others. She is truly gifted. I walked out feeling like a shiny new human. I took a stack of her business cards and have been recommending her services to my patients ever since. Thank you Jen for sharing your gift with us! read more

I'm glad I found Jen Taylor. She was close by and able to fit me into her schedule on short notice. After the massage, I felt so much better. She used her extensive knowledge of anatomy (her college major) to seek out and deal with muscle issues I didn't even know I had! I will recommend her to others and go back myself. read more

Jen was very professional and courteous to my needs. I explained my area of pain and she knew where to apply pressure and just the right amount. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is having muscle pain or pinched nerve. The first experience I had with a massage therapist left me in more pain than I had walked in with. I had sworn that I would never do that again. But I am pleased that I gave it a second chance, and with Jen. She definitely helped relieve my pain and I would certainly go back. Thank you again Jen!! read more

Jen Taylor is an outstanding massage therapist - her versatility ranges from relaxation massages to deep-tissue therapy to help relieve a back spasm or pinched nerve. I've had dozens of massages in cities across the US and Europe, and Jen is one of the best. She'll come to your home, or you can relax in hers. Schedule one today. read more

We were visiting family in the suburbs for the week and were in need of a good massage to de-stress. We found Jen Taylor on Yelp, and she responded immediately by text and had availability the next day. Both my husband and I received massages from Jen, and we both thought the massage was one of the best we've had. Jen listened to us when we described areas of tension and provided good pressure tailored to each area. The massage was exactly what we were looking for in terms of both relaxation and muscle tension relief. We would highly recommend her and will return the next time we're in town. read more

Excellent experience! Very professional, and easy to schedule the appointment. More importantly, the massage was awesome. Jen was very thorough and had me fill out a questionnaire and focused on the areas I needed as we discussed. I would highly recommend her, as it is so hard to find someone reputable and excellent at what they do. read more

Jen was great! She has a private room in her house that is perfect, not once did I ever feel like I was in someone else's house opposed to a brick and mortar during my massage. When I arrived Jen gave me a questionnaire to fill out and we discussed where my pain was. Jen was able to relieve about 95% of pain in my lower back, which was amazing the other 5% was relieved with stretches she recommended. She also gave me tips on how to help prevent the pain from happening in the future. I will definitely be going back to Jen and highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a great massage therapist! read more

I never write Yelp reviews, but I felt inclined to share my wonderful experience with Jen Taylor. The massage given was not for me, but rather my dear friend whom I was taking out and surprising with a massage. After reading prior reviews on Jen and comparing them to chain or corporate massage businesses, I decided it would be best to go through Jen for a more personalized experience as she represents her own business. The communication with Jen was extremely fast and thorough as soon as I sent her a message on Yelp inquiring about what she offers. After explaining what I wanted, an appt was setup within a few minutes. We exchanged numbers which made communication even easier as we were able to text/call. The day before the massage Jen sent me a reminder text. The day of the massage we pulled into her driveway and I had my friend blindfolded as it was a complete surprise for her. I went to Jen's door and she let me in her house to show the massage room so that I would know how to lead my friend in while still blindfolded. The room was wonderful and had a great ambience. Dim lighting, candles, soothing music, heated, smelled heavenly, had the whole works. Just immediately calming as soon as you step in. As I did not receive the massage, I took my friends word for it when I picked her up. She literally had a different voice (more relaxed than I have ever heard her) and she was nearly emotional as it was nothing she ever experienced and just felt a total body relaxation. I am extremely glad I went to Jen as opposed to Massage Envy, Elements massage etc as it was a seamless, personalized, and overall fantastic experience for both of us. Can't thank Jen enough. Was a wonderful start to a day full of surprises for my best friend. read more

I received my massage as a Christmas gift from a loved one. I had been looking for a massage for a little while because I have recently been experiencing back pain. Initially, the purpose of the massage was for temporary relief and relaxation. Before Jen even began the massage, she explained in detail why I may be experiencing back pain and what things I could do post-massage for improvement. She was very thorough in her explanation and very easy and friendly to talk to. She was very flexible with setting an appointment and made communication easy and simple. I will returning the favor to my loved one and getting a massage for her with Jen in the future. read more

I can't say enough about the great massage I had from Jen Taylor. She went out of her way to be sure that I was comfortable and explained everything in detail. I felt great afterward and the pain I had in my shoulder was so much better! Everything was so professional and she really knows how to relax the specific areas necessary both to relieve pain and provide an overall great experience. I highly recommend Jen! read more

a lifesaver for sure! She did a great job combating my knots and sore back.

To update my review I have tried other massage places because of a Groupon or a coupon and nothing compares to how great jen is with the areas I need worked the most. Having a disease that needs special treatment I couldn't ask for more. I wpuld highly recommend her services for relaxation or for health issues like myself. read more

Jen Taylor is an amazing massage therapist. She really knows how to "listen" to your muscles and focus on your needs. I have had many massages before from many different places and have never felt so good after. The tension in my back, shoulders, and neck were really bad, so I have already booked another appointment with Jen. read more

I originally was scheduled for a massage with Jen and then last minute I decided to change it to a Reiki session. She was so accommodating and she responded immediately every time I reached out to her. She spent a lot of time with me asking about my health, current problems I'm facing, etc. She is very nice and she really took the time to genuinely listen and she provided some positive feedback as well - she provided support when I had least expected it! After the Reiki session, I felt SO good and relaxed - I really felt like jello! I had been going through a lot lately and somehow she managed to make everything just "go away." My session was last Saturday and ever since then I've felt, and continue to feel, different - in a good way - I feel great, motivated, I have a positive outlook and feel resilient, I feel healed in many ways. I would definitely go back to her for Reiki, but I would like to try a massage next! Thanks Jen! read more
