Expect to pay double the listed prices. Or get Aggressive harassment if you don't. Apparently they do not believe in the American way of how tips and money transactions for services function, as they act like they are still in China on this. If they see you gave less than a 50% tip, they will say YOU DIDN'T PAY ENOUGH TIP, and will harass and bully you to give what THEY want YOU to give as a sufficient tip. Apparently they do not know what a tip in this country means. A tip is optional, and it is not mandatory. I can only assume they do not pay their employees, and expect you to pay double, for both the services rendered, and also for what they don't pay their own masseuses. This terribly greedy negative experience of being YELLED at by an older woman for NOT TIPPING ENOUGH! after a massage, means they have lost all returning business... I will never go back there again and I hope no one else does to teach them a vital lesson. Either raise your prices and pay your employees yourselves properly so they don't rely on tips at all, and therefore do not harass your customers by denigrating them for not giving a 50-100% tip, or don't do anything, and don't change, just slowly lose all your customers by doing what you are already doing, and then run yourselves out of business... The front desk was nice, spoke clear English and got me in right away. The place is clean. The massage was comfortable, not too rough. The 70-minute combination massage included hot stone and oil massage. The lady made sure oil won't get to my hair when she worked on my back. At the end, she wiped down oil with a hot towel. This is my "go to" place for many years. I think I caused confusion by over-tipping them. I enjoyed the fact that I could receive an excellent massage at a fraction of the price "american" spa's were charging. I still came away having saved $10 or $20...........unfortunately, they have harassed people for large tips........not the thing to do.........better to re-adjust the prices on the menu, and get the tipping down to 20% for excellent service.......etc etc........HOPE THIS HELPS. read more

Usually they are pretty good but this time the masseuse kept talking and laughing with the other masseuse during the massage and was quick to get it over with. For the pressure points, he stabbed my feet and hands with his fingernails which was not pleasant at all. He did these bullshit stretches but no actual working of the muscles, just rubbing in the moisturizer which I barely consider a massage. These foot massage places are great for a couple of things and if anything else, an easy experience to try Ancient Chinese medicine... I kid somewhat, I don't know much about it, but it's pretty cool that in many cultures, massage isn't a luxury, it's a part of good health. The ambiance of Royal Foot is very enticing. The waiting room is bright and clean and inside was soft lit, muted violet rooms, openness and the chairs are quite spaced out. Not bad! Went in for a 60 min foot massage. Unlike other places, it's not a lazy boy recliner that I've seen before, rather you lay flat on a giant couch cushion and your legs bent at 90 degrees to soak. Tips: 1) Wipe down your face and hair. I got my face massaged! Like forehead, jaw, cheeks, eyebrow, nose- I actually found that to be relaxing. Scalp massage lovely will become disheveled. 2) Loose shirt, pants that roll up. (Massaging arm includes the pits... kind of a surprise for me) The first 30-40min was pleasant. In fact, I totally knocked out during the foot massage. She even had this warm/hot stone that she rubs on your feet. The back was a different story. I always dread a back massage since I'm rather ticklish and it can be quite painful. I went in with an already sore left neck/arm/back. During the process, it hurts like a... mofo., but later that night, I was so sleepy I had to crawl to bed. Maybe it got my lymph nodes moving, I don't know, but I think the kink in my neck is better. This was the best massage I have had in a long long time! Super clean and really nice compared to the foot spa I was going to near our old home. At first I was not sure because it was more expensive but when I left, it was totally worth it. I went with my husband and we were able to be in an area with just each other. Unlike some other foot massage joints where all the massage chairs are all in the same room feeling like you're in a sweatshop factory with all the workers and products are in the same cramped space. RFS has about 4 semi private rooms with 2-4 chairs in them. I can appreciate this because although I'm not fully undressed during the massage, I really don't want to be in the same room as other people snoring or watching other people fall into a coma during their massage . Which brings me to deduct 1 star from my rating. During my massage with my friend, they snuck in another customer halfway through our massage causing noise and disturbance to ours. I don't understand why they did that since the place was empty and there are other rooms to stick that other person into. As far as the actual massage, it was as anyone would expect for a reflexology focusing on pressure points and blah blah blah. My masseuse asked a couple of times how the pressure was and I gladly gave him my opinion to make it softer or more firm as I desired. In these types of places, they don't know their own strength until you tell them what is good for you... So speak up! Otherwise you might feel like you got beat because it borders masochism. I came across this foot spa through a Groupon deal. As soon I entered the place the relaxing ambience set in fast. Prepare for much needed R&R from the moment you walk in! I was early for my appointment so they kindly offered me the sauna services while I waited. The sauna room had soothing music playing in the background and clean shower services for after. The shampoo and conditioner smelled amazing! Now for the massage, let's just say especially for the reasonable prices, these people knew what they were doing. My feet had been killing me (post Vegas weekend) but after this foot and full body massage I was definitely ready to dance again haha. My neck, back, and legs were relieved of so much tension. Nice place. Keep in mind that this is a Chinese / Asian style massage which is very different from your massage therapy spa type of placed. For a Chinese massage place, the location is good. Sometimes you will find ones that seem to be in bad areas or look suspicious. The entry and lobby looks new, decorated nicely, and inviting. They only have one couch for waiting, probably need one more. Once you go back for your massage it seems pretty big inside. Looks new and decorated nice. Compared to other Chinese places, this is one of the nicest. Now for the massage. I felt compared to other Chinese places, the pressure wasn't as good. Most Chinese places are strong and deep, at times almost hurting. I guess most people would like the lower pressure. I recommend checking it out. read more
