I went here today after buying the Groupon. It was fantastic! The 30 minute massage was rejuvenating and really worked the tension out. It was quiet and clean and worth every penny if I would have had to pay full price I would have. The Groupon is $20 for 30 min and 30 min foot detox. After the reflexology on my feet my sinus started draining which is something that never happened before in any other session I have been in. Give it a shot!

Where do I even start? I called them up to see if they had any appointments available. They said yes. Good start. I think. I told them I was gunna buy the Groupon and she said don't worry about it and she will match the price. Ok. Not bad so far. I told her it was $15 with promo code. She said she could charge me $18. Hmmmmmm. No thanks. So I bought the Groupon. Got there and the took me back into a creepy room with about 20 beds. No privacy at all. Mind you the place was empty and I was the only one there. Shoulda ran. But eh, $15. I had a great experience at royal foot spa down the block so why not. I got approached by an older male gentleman in a white tee. He looked like Hattori Hanzō and he didn't look to clean. I told him to do the foot detox thing first as others on Yelp suggested. He said ok. And began to massage my head. Ok so no English. Eh. I could over look it. I waited for the massage to start for 30 minutes. He basically rubbed lotion on me and called it a massage. Wtf. And he had long nails. Gross. And ouch. He put my foot in the bucket of water and attached some wires to me. As this was a new experience to me, I asked wtf was happening. He just said ok. 10 minutes later he gave me a book explaining what it was supposed to be. 25 minutes into I was bored out my mind. I noticed the water turned color and thought this was some voo doo nonsense. Came home and researched it. And it basically was. Ha. And here is the kicker. I attempted to walk out without tipping. Yea I'm all about tips so don't get it twisted ppl. But I refused to tip for gettin lotion put on me. My getaway plan was fantastic. He went to go finish his meal (which he was eating while working on me) and I saw the opportunity to wisp away. 3 steps in the lot and I thought I was golden. But nope. Out came the fool and demanded a tip. He learned to speak English fast I see. I begrudgingly tossed him a five and he looked at it in disgust. As a patron it is my choice how I had to tip. And he should be happy he got $5 he begged for.

New foot massage spot in Schaumburg! Good Foot Spa is located in the plaza with Ahuua, Sweet Kake & Taco Bell along Roselle Road. Now if you've been to any of these Asian massage spots, you already know the deal. It's a hard massage and they call it reflexology. There may be a bit of that going on but basically it's just some deep massaging over your full body. You're in a big room with anyone else who may be getting a massage and as strange as that may sound to this type of massage, it's the norm and you really don't even notice/realize anyone else is there. At Good Foot Spa, they start with the head (ladies, go with your hair down without product so it doesn't get messed up), even doing the ears, a bit of shoulders, arms & hands, down to the legs and then the feet (most of the massage concentrates on the feet). Then you flip on your tummy and they do your shoulders again, upper & lower back, booty and back of the legs. This is pretty much the standard routine at the various Asian massage parlors. Let me start with the bad of Good Foot Spa - -They love the upsell. We went in for the $20 massage and they wanted to get the $30 instead. Honestly, it makes more sense to do the $30 massage so my advice is to go in planning on that. -They talk....a lot. Well at the beginning there was a lot going on & I couldn't chill out completely. My friend and I were getting massages next to each other and our massagers were speaking to each other, albeit in a whisper tone, and the front lady was speaking in a non whispering tone in Mandarin on a fairly long phone call. The talking lasted about 30 minutes and was only here & there. After the initial 30 minutes, it completely ceased. I honestly didn't have a big issue with this but just a warning for others who might. All of the workers were really sweet and I really enjoyed my massage. They play classical music in the background, one song I recognized from a K-drama I watched long ago. One big difference I really liked here was the chairs were much more comfortable then any of the other massage spots I have been. I often leave these types of places with my back hurting a bit, but I had none of that here at all. That alone will have me coming back here. The most interesting difference with Good Foot Spa is their massage packages. So you can either do: $20 - Includes 30 minutes foot massage & 30 minutes ion cell detox cleanse foot soak $30 Includes 60 minutes full body massage & 30 minutes ion cell detox cleanse foot soak What the heck was this ion cell detox cleanse I was getting!? After my massage, my friend and I exchanged confused looks as they brought out the baths for our feet and attached some kind of band to our wrists. Before I got home my friend texted me to tell it was complete useless and does nothing. I decided to do a bit of googling myself to see what it was all about. So they say it assists your body to re-balance its bio-energy fields, and stimulates the body for self-detoxification. The body's organs will function better and it will help relax and younger. Okay so honestly, if nothing else, it's just a relaxing foot soak bonus and I'm cool with that. They also gave me a punch card for Buy 9 massages, get 1 free! My goal is to go once a month....and I will be coming here over some of the other spots I've gone. It's equal in quality if not a bit better thanks to the chairs, plus you get that 30 bonus minutes of soaking & relaxing.

I love this place, it's a terrific massage for the price. When I'm having a self-care day I include Good Foot Spa into my day.

Don't waste your money. They don't do good massage . Chinese foot places usually do head to toe. But they didn't

Monica's was amazing! I called about 20 minutes before coming in, and they were able to fit me in…read more I was in drumline for 4 years, which put a lot of strain carrying 35 pound drum on my shoulders and back, and I have a large chest which also puts strain in those areas, so needless to say I definitely need massages, and I need them to be deep. This is exactly what I got. There actually was a student there, so both her and the masseuse both worked their magic on me. It was the most intense massage I've ever had (not for wimps!) but that's because I asked for it, and I needed it. I felt amazing after. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the masseuse got there almost 15 minutes late (I know I scheduled my appt last minute, but if she couldn't make it then I could have just scheduled it for 4:15 instead of rushing there just to wait) and it was over 15 minutes of me laying there with a heating pad on my back before anyone came in. This got frustrating after a while because I could hear everyone talking up front so it wasn't peaceful, I didn't know it would be this long of an ordeal (I assumed maybe 5 minutes max of this would happen to warm my muscles up) and I have a heating pad at home if I want 15+ minutes of sitting with it on. But everything after that was amazing. I'll definitely be coming back. Thanks!!
