When I googled Massage Therapist in Wheeling I found this place. When I saw the Website, it screamed ASIAN MASSAGE - with "Happy Endings" So, I was really frightened to go. I am one to support the asian community so, I thought, well I will give them a call and if they sound shady I can always hang up and never call again. A really nice lady answered the phone and I thought ok lemme as qualifying questions. She answered me professionally and kindly and I decided to book a massage. When I arrived, I walked in an thought wow, what a nice reception area. Very clean and not sleazy. The rooms must be small if the reception room is so nice and large...I was wrong. It was a little strange how the receptionist acted, she was sweet but, you can tell she wasn't certain about what she was doing which made things awkward. When I was brought to the back room I was shocked to see how large the hallway was, then was lead to my therapy room. It was a nice size and comfortable. Was little too warm, but better too warm then freezing like outside. The receptionist told me to undress and get under the covers faced down and asked me what service I would like, I opted to have the Asian Royal Massage because my back was killing me and they recommended this massage for back pain. Which the name of the service, they might want to reconsider if they want to sound less sleazy. Mary, My Therapist, started working on my shoulder and focused on the "crunchy" areas of my back. It was a good massage but, different from a deep tissue or a Swedish massage. She wasn't able to get all the kinks out but, that's due to the severity of my back pain. There is alot of relief. Near the end of this massage she brought out this bean bag that was warm. Used this bean bag to massage all my problem areas, which loosened my muscles more. Overall, it's a nice clean place with professional therapists working there. The name, the service's names, and website might make you think otherwise. I went here and was a little sore from shoveling snow. Upon entering the space is pretty but I got a cold feeling. It is just not warm and inviting. I got a massage from a girl that was way to strong. I asked her to take it easy and she just got more forceful. She really hurt my lower back. It has been two weeks and still hurts where she applied too much pressure. At the end of the massage she asked me for more tip. She looked pretty angry when I didn't give her more. She shooed me out the door, and I won't be back. My chiropractor told me not to go there again too. read more

Wow this place looked nice when I went and they showed me to my room. First the bed had an odor to the sheet like it was not clean. then the girl came in and climbed on my back and really hurt me. I told her to get off but she kept it up. I finally convinced her to get off and the rest of the massage was not enough to fix the pain I had in my back. I had to go to my doctor and he told me that they bruised my muscles. Wow I'm going to be careful from now on and won't be going here again. There is a difference between massaging and rubbing. Well, Mary knows how to massage: she worked on my neck, forehead, back, arms, hands, legs and feet for 60 mins. I have constant neck and back pain, so having Mary really work into the muscle helps to make the pain go away. This place is not a typical simple Chinese massage spa that I used to go. Upon arrival there is a tall staircase in order to enter the business. Though this wasn't a problem for us, keep in mind if you have any disabilities. They also make you take your shoes off and slip into slides. Once again no big deal, but bring socks. Upon actually entering the waiting area, they had my husband pay right away, which I thought was a huge red flag. In all the massages we've had, we've never paid first. There was also a 3% fee for using a card despite our total being over $200+. We get into the room, located right by the entrance and it is freezing. My husband's bed was warmed, however mine was not. I have never seen or heard of a heated massage table, but with a drafty window a portable heater would have solved this issue. When the two massage therapists entered they did not greet themselves and started saying something in another language. Mine asked me light or strong. I told her medium as that is what I have always requested from other locations. After that she noticed the bed wasn't warmed, attempted to fix it, but it was broken: WE WERE NOT ASKED OR INFORMED we were getting a DEEP tissue massage. Considering what a deep tissue massage entitles, they also did not ask other important questions like areas of concern or injuries. The massage started with some oil and hot stones and quickly progressed to pain. All I kept thinking was what type of massage did my husband book. I grimaced, flinched, and yelped in pain. My person's only response was "oh you're sensitive" and she continued at the same strength/depth. 90% was jamming her elbow into every possible pressure point and directly into my bones. This was not only the most painful massage I have ever had, but the second most painful and traumatic experience in my life; internal bleeding being my number one. I have a high pain tolerance and not sensitive to pain. Even more than that, she did not respect that I left my panties on and pulled them down and lifted them up. I'm immediately cried when she finally finished and on the entire way home. To say the least my masseuse did not receive a tip. I'm on muscle relaxers and have multiple bruises. I will never be back and regret not sitting up and ending it. Everything from the base of my skull to my legs hurt; to put it in perspective I weigh 135 pounds and 5'5". IF you book a couples massage with them, do not assume you are getting a Swedish massage like most places, despite there being no option to select.
