This set is three pieces: a skirt, a top, and a pink camis underneath. They lost my top. I gave the clerk this picture and she said she would need 30 days to find it. Today is the 31st day. She doesn't find it so I guess that's why she didn't call either. I requested $50 for my inconvenience and she obliged. Not only did she not find my blouse but she hands me the camis on a hanger, wrapped in plastic STILL DIRTY! She offered to clean it now. That would mean I have to come back and I won't be doing that. I suggest you don't either. read more

Pride Cleaners - Now, a memory of a set - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I have been going here for years. In my opinion they are the best cleaners in the city. Even when lived a distance from them, I didn't mind traveling, because I knew that I would receive efficient, excellent service. Ms. Eva is Professional and Graceful. It is a pleasure doing business with them. Definitely 5 ***** read more

They charge too much. I dropped 2 suits off to get cleaned and pressed and they came back with burn marks on the inside. Then over the span of 2 months I had to go back twice because they forgot to change the buttons on my shirts and then I called to see if the shirts were ready and was told my shirts were lost. Then for 2 weeks I called the manager, Jimmy, to because he told me that if he could not get find them he would reimburse me for the shirts but I left messages that were never returned. Finally I called after hours today and he said they found my shirts. I hate terrible customer service and not to mention they burned the inside of a suit. I don't need customer credit I just need a good dry cleaner. read more

When I came in the store, I asked them can they clean this kind of jacket. Their response was "they clean them all the time" I took my Amari $3,500 White Leather sleeves and cloth jacket here on January 18th, 2022, Tuesday. I was told to pick it up on January 21st, 2022 (Friday). When I came to pick it up, they told me it was not back yet and to come on Tuesday. I came on Tuesday and the lady gave me an attitude saying they must send it out. I said just give me the jacket I will take it somewhere else. She lied and said it was at the other store, I told her where the other store is I will go pick it up myself. She raised her voice and started yelling, she then proceeded to call someone on the phone and told them that the lady was there for the jacket. She hung up and got the jacket out of a bend by the washing machine. It was ruined they had washed it in a machine. This was not the jacket I left to have cleaned, this was some old jacket the was smaller than the XXL jacket I gave them. The lady went on to say they are going to send it out. I asked why you all would wash a leather jacket!! I asked to speak to the owner she refused to call him. And told me the jacket would be back in two weeks. I still requested to talk to the owner to no avail. I returned to the cleaners on several occasions to pick up my Jacket and speak with the owner and to find out why he has not returned my call. All I got was attitude and rude behavior. Today I went to the find out where my jacket was at, and the Owner went over and got my jacket out of a bend again and put it on a hanger and gave it to me. I asked for his insurance company phone number, and he refused to give me the attitude and proceeded to yell at me then when I stated I was calling the police he decided to call them and make a false report. I said I just need your insurance company phone number so I can file a claim for my property you all ruined. He said he was going outside and flag a police officer down. We the officer came in I explained to him what happened. He saw the jacket and I told him I wanted the insurance company name and phone number to file a claim. The owner stated to take me to court as this is a civil matter. He told the officer he wants me off his property. I left!! NEVER TAKE ANYTHING TO THIS PRIDE CLEANERS, THEY WASH YOUR EXPENSIVE DRY-CLEANING GARMENTS AND THEN GIVE YOU ATTITUDE AND ARE RUDE TO YOU WHEN YOUR GARMENT ARE NOT READY WHEN YOU COME TO PICK THEM UP BECAUSE THEY HAVE RUINED YOUR PROPERTY. THE ONLYY REASON IT HAS A STAR IS BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT LET YOUR POST THIS REVIEW WITHOUT IT. read more

The problem is that this cleaners has gone through multiple owners starting with the business being black owned until it was repeatedly sold and now a Korean couple own it which shows the fact that asians are setting up shop in a what is a predominately black community. I have been a customer of this cleaners for more than 20 years when I or members of my family used them for dry cleaning. The only thing is that they don't have too much of a concept of a fully established policy from refunds to condition of clothes and what they won't clean. It's enough that there's a language barrier, but the problem is that they need to listen to what the customer is needing and paying for in terms of how they want their clothes. I also have a problem with how they need to possibly expand by getting a bigger space since they have an empty lot next door they could invest in to expand the cleaners and make it more current in terms of asthetics since the place still screams the 60s and these people make enough money to expand their facility. I also have a problem with how they maintain the place too because there's a pothole as you pull into their cramped parking lot that is in dire need of fixing. I told one of the owners they needed to fix it and they acted as if I was talking crazy when that can damage someone's car or cause someone to trip when walking towards the building and they make enough money off the folks in the neighborhood to fix the parking lot of their business. I don't come often because I have started finding other cleaners to do my dry cleaning and for a better price. read more

Awful! I put a skirt in to be cleaned and sewn, they only cleaned it and didn't do the sewing work. It was a total waste of time! Their customer service is terrible, the phone doesn't work and they have a no refund policy which is idiotic! Regardless of the policy the manager reluctantly returned my money for the work that was not done. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY! read more

I put one of my favorite blouses in this cleaners. When it was returned to me, it had spots on both sleeves by the wrist and on the back. I called the cleaners and they told me that doesn't happen in their cleaners, they clean clothes not dirty them. What a smart answer! I asked what was the process with my blouse, she wouldn't tell me. Long story short, they have just lost a new customer. read more

VERY UNHAPPY with this place. I've been a customer here for many, many, years. I've always paid about $2.25- $2.50 for dry cleaning. Well, when I went in there today, I was SHOCKED to find that their prices are now $3.25 for dry cleaning. So when I asked the gentleman on duty when they went from $2.50 to $3.25, they said it's been about 60 days. Didn't let anyone know that the prices has went up. So when I complained and started asking questions, he said he "denied" me from bringing my clothes in to be cleaned, AND he called the police on me saying that I was being disruptive. I couldn't believe the "new" service that these people are putting out. When I asked the cashier/ order taker, she only said "I was away at school and when I came back, these prices are here". I think it was better when it was Asian owned. But after I get my clothes out next week, I will not be going back again. I will file a complaint with the owner, whom the Assistant gave me the card for. Unexplainable service given. Was wondering why the back didn't have a lot of clothes in the back as normal for a cleaners. read more

I put my winter white coat in the cleaners. And they stole my coat and deleted all records of my coat ever being in their computer system even previous times that they cleaned my coat. Not to mention, I prepaid for the coat when I dropped it off. They are thieves and they covered their tracks. Since I didn't still have my ticket I couldn't prove anything. I would not trust this store with my personal items. read more

This was my first time using the cleaners and the service was horrible. They were rude and my clothes were not ready when they said it would be. I made three trips and they could only tell me my pants were in another location. My shirts were wrinkled, the manager was not helpful and the staff ignored my complaint. NEVER SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! Hopefully they find my pant before my fourth trip. read more
