I'm usually a south Broward girl, but let me tell you this is great place to grab drinks in Boca with a chill ambiance. Prezzo has a solid happy hour menu. I personally like the Smash burger sliders, bang bang shrimp and pear pasta from the happy hour menu. Their pizzas are fresh and delicious Italian style and dessert menu it tasty, make sure you try the amaretto cookies or butter cake. What I like most though was is the customer service I get when eating at the bar. Lex, Corrine and Irish are awesome, I've been served by them multiple times and I've always great consistent customer service. Lex has a memory like an elephant for faces, and Corrine is just a genuine kind of person. Great food, amazing service. I will continue to come back. The only thing I wish they had was a bolognese that had grounded meat or pork on it, I don't really like the chunky- shredded taste of the beef or veal. read more

My Sister and I had lunch at Prezzo in Boca Raton. We had heard good things and read all the YELP reviews so we wanted to try someplace new.. plus we LOVE Burt and Max's which is also part of the Rappaport Restaurant group. We wanted to take advantage of the "12 for $12" lunch menu which had some great options. I had the CAPRESE PANINI (roasted tomato, house pulled mozzarella, baby arugula, basil pesto, balsamic reduction, ciabatta, served with soup or house salad). It was very tasty and a nice portion. Attended a pre-planned luncheon with a fixed menu for twelve people. Menu items were Caesar salad, Chicken Parmesan, Rigatoni alla Vodka, Pizza Margherita, with sautéed spinach and zucchini spirals. Everything was delicious! That said, the service and food delivery was very off. The restaurant itself was not busy but we had to ask for everything. Water and drinks went unfilled. The vegetables came out after everyone was done eating their entrees so we literally just boxed them up to go. Considering it was a prearranged lunch service and the restaurant was not busy, the service was a big miss. Chicken Parm was juicy and the red sauce flavorful. Met a friend for a drink at the bar and dinner. The bartender who finally waited on us ( it was not terribly crowded) asked if we were okay? Stupid question. We each ordered a drink and we're ignored for the next 20 minutes by the four or five bartenders who were doing chores as well as pouring drinks. Our drinks were empty and we just sat there. Great service ( NOT). Dinner was more enjoyable. Our server was very accommodating and pleasant. She made some good suggestions as we made our appetizer and dinner selections. The only problem was the pasta in one of our dishes was terribly undercooked. The chef did wind up taking it off the bill which was appreciated. Wowwwww. Went for a drink before brunch and ended up staying and getting arguably the best best best brunch meal I have ever had. They made me a special calzone with eggs, bacon, sausage, mootz and ricotta. Aside from the filling being delicious the calzone was cooked to perfection. This place was packed on a Friday night! They have live music outside and it can be super loud depending on where you sit. The service was great. We shared some appetizers....pear pasta, clams, caprese salad, brussel sprouts, and Caesar salad. All were good but I really enjoyed the clams and pear pasta. For dinner I had the snapper oregenata and it was Devine! I cannot wait to go back and have it again! My hubby enjoyed the 1/2 chicken arosto . Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals too. 3rd time and I'm out! Each time I have come here for lunch - it has been a service disaster. I don't like to write reviews after just one bad experience, but this is the 3rd in about 9 months. Each time the service is non-existent and the managers seem to think it is fine despite our complaints of slow to missing service. I don't want to blame the servers who are missing in action, so I'll go with good service comes from the top-down and I don't understand how this is acceptable. Drink orders took forever, so then when we suggest ordering since clearly things are taking a while, the waiter takes the first course order and we have to encourage him to take the second after we are already done with our appetizers. After 70 minutes we still didn't have our entrees. This is lunch time, not a leisurely dinner. I have heard that dinner service is much better. Food is solid. I'm going to Mario's or Renzo's or basically any other Italian place next time. It is a real shame since my large tennis team plans loads of events and this is such a close spot! read more

We went back last night with 2 other couples for our Anniversary. After my last review , I was contacted by a manager and invited back, he also apologized for the poor service we received. Reserved a table for 6 online, and unlike last time, there was not someone sitting at our table, and we were seated within minutes. We had a great time and all had a great dinner. Our server Megan was awesome!!! We started with the the Brussel sprouts, and bruschetta along with out table Italian bread with rosemary and garlic. Very good. I ordered the Lamb Chops, $40, My wife ordered Branzino fish , browned butter picatta, tuscan kale & mushrooms, tri-color carrots. Both were delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meals also. We all shared the Tiramisu for dessert. Also delicious, maybe just a touch more coffee. After dinner we all went out back and enjoyed an after dinner cocktail while listening to live music. The ambiance is beautiful. The food is good, but not great. They have a beautiful outdoor patio section, and the inside is quite spacious without any of the tables being too close together. Our servers were friendly, knowledgable and attentive, though they still had to ask who had ordered what when they brought the food to the table. The meal was reasonably paced and the service did not leave us wanting. Well done. The food was not quite up to its price point. The calamari was oversalted. We were warned that aragosta arrabbiata was going to be very spicy, while the flatbread arrabbiata was going to have a gentle kick. Both were mildly spicy. Tasty, but not nearly the spice point on either that we were warned about. Snapper Oreganata was a bit watery. Beware, while most of the outdoor tables were quite lovely, we were offered one under a tree canopy. I could hear the birsds chirping, and I could see the table surrounded by bird droppings. Hard pass on that table, as we opted to dine inside instead... Ambiance is lovely. Food is not quite top notch Italian. read more

I've been wanting to go to Prezzo since they opened. I finally got there. Now I know what I was missing. A beautiful restaurant with delicious food. Lucky for me Clyde and I got there before 6 o'clock. They have a great special. Buy one meal, and get one for half price. That's a real bargain. We started with bread and roasted garlic for the table. My first time having bread with roasted garlic. Our server told us how to eat it. Split the cloves apart and spread the butter- like inside on the bread. Oh my. We ate it all and asked for more. We shared the large house salad. The dressing was a tangy vinaigrette. The salad was fresh and crisp. Very good. For my entree I ordered a spaghetti dish. The pasta was perfectly cooked. The sauce was delicious. The service was excellent. Last week we went back for Happy Hour. They have half price drinks and a special Bar Bites menu. I had a delicious margarita. Clyde and I shared a margarita pepperoni pizza, $10 on the Bar Bites menu. I'd say the pizza was medium size. Big enough to share if you're not very hungry. The pizza was delicious. I visited Prezzo's for the first time the other night. I went during Happy Hour-- which features several discounted cocktails and wine and half price beer from 5 until 6:30! I ordered the grilled Salmon with Brussel Sprouts--incredibly delicious!!!The Salmon was cooked perfectly as I ordered it-- Medium well done. No trace of fishy taste, just wonderful Salmon. I ordered the sundried tomato basil sauce. Also delicious! I really enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts--scrumptious!! This meal was pure perfection! The ice cold Bud Lights complemented the meal perfectly! I really enjoyed every minute at Prezzo. The server, Charlie, was a wonderful waiter, available any time I needed anything. Prezzo was extremely clean and inviting! Prezzo gets my highest rating!!!! Their fresh bread is served with roasted garlic, which is alone enough to get us to come back, but they also delivered on A+ Chicken Parmesan!! We also enjoyed the goat cheese and pancetta brussel sprouts, cinque formaggi pizza, pollo balsamico, and quinoa and squash salad. Notable cocktails: Espresso Martini and the Don Caesar! Lovely ambience, nice service, delicious bread with roasted garlic. That was the end of pleasantries. The food... Disappointing. We usually go next door, but decided to taste their summer menus. Ordered numerous specials to taste, muscles and clams, calamari, shrimp, burrata salad, got complimentary pear pasta and pork chop main dish. Calamari were served pretty but greasy with tasteless sauce. Shrimp were smeared with the similar sauce, nothing special, not hot, not tasty, not crunchy, definitely not fiery, just there. Muscles and clams were blend. The complementary pear pasta didn't make it either. The pork chop came with broccoli rabe and potatoes. Broccoli rabe and pork chop were fine but potatoes were as tasteless as the rest of the appetizer. Everything needed extra seasoning, at least salt and pepper (which was missing from the table, and didn't exactly were in working order when we asked for them). The burrata salad was pleasant exception from the rest of the dishes, it was very tasty. Perhaps we made a bad selection, but so many misses.... One would think that if the restaurant offers the summer menu they would go all out to make them extra delicious, not.... read more
