We called Preventive Pest Control because we had a smell coming from under our house. Freddy came to our house to seal the crawl space vents and place some traps. Not only did he do a clean job sealing the vent, but he is a great, friendly person. Great service! read more

Called PPC last summer to help deal with a terrible ant infestation. Signed up for quarterly service for ants and spiders. Super helpful! Just had a re-service yesterday (for free) because ants started coming inside again and I was in between regularly scheduled treatments. Larry was great and friendly, and gave me some ant baits in case the situation gets worse. We live in a condo, and I am trying to convince everyone to go with PPC so their ants stop coming into my house through the walls!! read more

Larry, is truly the reason I referred my company to Preventive Pest Control, he services my residential account and always goes above and beyond for myself and my 80 year old mother who is usually home when service is due. BTW he services my regular pest control but also eliminated our gopher issue a year ago and also a little mini mouse issue we were up against last summer!! TOP NOTCH SERVICE!! read more

I have had this company for pest control for 8-9 years. Recently, when we moved houses, they came over with no notice the day of service and sprayed the premises. My husband called asking if they were scheduled and I never got a call or tefrom the office day prior. I called the office and they assured me that the service would be comped. But I got 3 messages that payment is due, which after each call, I get them to confirm it was a mistake on their part and they would take care of the payment. I got home yesterday and got a notice in the mail of past due payment. I had told them to stop service about a month ago because of all of this. Still they can't resolve the problem!!! Very incompetent people. read more

I've been using PPC since around 2018 - I love this post control company! Great prices, great service, they work with you on everything. I wanna give a special shout out to my last technician Larry! He was incredibly amazing and so nice, kind, extra helpful and so professional. I had a scheduling issue and he offered to come back at the end of his route... Then he helped me throw things away due to an infestation I was having.... Please ask for Larry you will not regret it. read more

Friendly, efficient and seems to know his job well. Quite a useful visit for which the company did not charge anything

Dennis at Preventive Pest Control was knowledgeable, polite, efficient and charming. We had done some research into our 30+ foot magnolia tree that had been raining some stick substance and attracting TONS of bugs. Dennis confirmed a lot of what we'd looked up without being prompted and helped us understand the systemic approach used by his company as opposed to some of the topical treatments we'd read about. Good pricing, quick service, authentic personnel; what else can you ask for? read more

A big thank you and shout out to Jovani for coming to my house yesterday to address my ant situation inside my home. Scurrying noises in our ceiling prompted us to call Preventative Pest Control. Craig and Lauren are super friendly on the phone and were clear on what they were able to do and don't do. They do service townhomes, where some other pest control companies can't. They don't directly provide attic cleaning and sanitation but refer to another company that does. The technician, Jovani, came by to provide an inspection of our problematic attic and surrounding home area, and provided five bait traps for the attic, and three bait boxes with monthly maintenance at a competitive price. Jovani was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest - even our neighbor has taken note! We look forward to the results. read more

We have had this service for about 2 years now and never have to worry about ants, spiders, etc. The reason I've chosen to write a review at this time is that are most recent technician John Mejia did an extra thorough job in explaining the chemicals used and helping us with some existing wasp nests. He went above and beyond and it was very much appreciated. read more

Thank you, John Mejia, for the great service! I know that I can rely on you to keep my home pest-free!

I recently started using Preventative Pest Control a month ago. The person that made the appointment, the first & second technicians that came out to service us was excellent. I am especially amazed by the service John Mejia gave when he came out, he was very catering to what we needed sprayed today, offered us a 2nd mosquito trap at a discounted rate. Swept all of the spider webs around my house and made sure to let us know to change out any food or water left out for the cat or dogs just to be extra careful even though its harmless to humans or animals. I was impressed by their services thus far and highly recommend them to friends and family not only for insect control but just year round maintenance. read more

We have had a pest control service for many years. Recently they have become less reliable so we decided to change companies. We notice Preventative Pest Control's truck at a neighbor's and asked the tech for an estimate. Giovani was so knowledgeable, kind and patient with my questions. He explained all details to me including the nature and animal-safe chemicals used and the care for avoiding our nesting birds. Not only that but the office staff was prompt in taking my calls, scheduling our visits and the best part is we have a standing appointment for the first Wed of every month. Pest control is only as good if it is repeated on schedule! We are so happy with the prompt service, the cleaning of cobwebs (which the previous company offered but never did) and the friendliness of our tech. Can't recommend highly enough! read more

We have been customers of preventive pest control for 10 years. We have found them to be excellent. We signed up this year for their extra service for mosquitos called in2care mosquito trap. We have noticed a huge difference in the amount of mosquitoes in our backyard. We will definitely get it again next year! read more

We've been working with these guys for a little over a year primarily to assist in controlling our brown widow population. They came out today for regular maintenance and our technician John M. was able to offer help for a recent mosquito problem. He was prepared to help us on the spot and was great to work with. Thank you John and thank you PPC. read more

If there was a 0 start rating I would give one 10x over. My first service was "free" with a 1 year contract. I've had to prove to them with their own contract their $50 cancellation fee is not allowed. Anybody that has had this happen, call the company back and demand your refund. Don't both speaking to Teresa, she loves to hang up on you. She also told me she's unwilling to look up anything in their system and I have to provide all the documentation, contracts, recipients and bank statements confirming my charges. This company's spends all their cancellations money on mailers offering an invalid promo and from their reviews you can see they don't deliver good service or honor their 1 year contract DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH YHIS COMPANY. they will charge you for service they do not deliver and try to charge you $50 cancellation fees when your 1 year contract period is over. Don't bother trying to get a refund. Showing them your bank statement and then admitting to not delivering service is not enough. They would like to be on the phone with you and your bank as you verify your identity so they can steal your information for fraud. The worst experience I've had with a merchant ever. If you've had anything similar happen to you, please contact me. I'd like to add your experience to the case I've submitted to the BBB, CA department of consumer affairs and local chambers/newspapers. read more

We searched around for a pest control company and finally noticed that Preventive Pest Control was working on our neighbors homes, so we gave them a try. Glad we did. Very good customer service. And we have JOHN as our regular tech -- he's terrific. Seems to like his job and he is knowledgeable, so that goes a long way in the confidence factor. BTW, we spent the extra money to get a mosquito control bucket and apparently wiped out about half the mosquitos in the area. So very pleased about that. Still we need more neighbors to do these on a regular basis. It would be smart to have a community shared responsibility thing going where every few months the mosquito control bucket goes to a new place and helps control things. Ask for JOHN! read more

John came in today to service my backyard and he was very thorough, he did a great job! Thank you John!

I highly recommend Preventive Pest Control they do quality work and the office staff is always pleasant and accommodating. They've been servicing my home for over three years. Today John Mejia did a very thorough job spraying inside of the garage and outside of my home for ants. He also left me gel ant bait for the inside of my home. I'm very appreciative of the great job, he used PPE along with social distancing. I highly recommend them for your pest control needs! read more
