A technician accidentally left our gate open, but instead of ignoring it, he personally texted me to apologize and took full responsibility. That kind of accountability says a lot about the people they hire and the culture they've built. As for the actual pest control--they do a great job. We rarely see spiders or bugs throughout the year. When summer rolls around and the ants start showing up, they come out and handle it quickly. If the ants get especially bad, they'll even come back for an extra service. Honestly, our biggest ant problem comes from neighboring properties, so that's not something any company can completely control, but they do everything they can to keep it under control. About a week after my last service early this year, I was still experiencing issues around the entryway to my property, so I reached out and politely asked the technician to please respray a specific area near the garage entry. Instead of responding professionally, he became defensive and questioned why I was asking, stating that the area had already been sprayed during the initial visit. His tone, demeanor, and facial expressions came across as irritated and confrontational, which made the interaction very uncomfortable. As a long-time, loyal customer who has consistently supported and recommended Premier to family members and neighbors here at GP, I found the experience extremely disappointing. I simply requested additional attention to an area where I was still having problems, and the response I received felt dismissive and unnecessarily argumentative. And then you see beady eyes.. not good! We must have left a door open and a rat snuck in the house. Super bummer! I contacted 4 termite/rodent services from Yelp. I carefully tried to pick local business as opposed to the national name brands. I came across the great reviews and Matthew was the first to respond and able to come over the very next day. I figured seeing as he was coming for the rat asap we might as well get a quote for termites as we have seen some dropping also. By the time he got to our house we had the rat cornered. Yuk! He told us it was better to try & trap it. If you try to catch it it could run & die & smell. He carefully looked all over. Even the roof. Gave us a detailed explanation of what needed to be done and I learned so much more about they're behaviors that I really never thought of. So we agreed to try & trap again because you really can't grab it like a pet. He gave us a quote for the termites and the rodent service and said he would come back if the rat got in the trap. Off he went. Like a 1/2 hour later we call him begging him to come back. And he did! Right away! He helped us "finish off" the rat. Talk about Relief!!! He came twice, spent quality time, gave a really reasonable quote, left and came back for free! Free! The day went from super gross and crappy to what rat? With the recent hot weather, we had noticed an uptick in drywood termite activity around the house and decided it was time to take a more preventative approach, particularly with our attic. Because of the way our older home was designed, we honestly weren't sure the attic could be properly accessed. Omar proved otherwise.
