Side note: Also just be a good customer and make an appointment for acrylics anyway...acrylic walk-ins are not easy to accommodate! Everyone there was so friendly and everything was very clean...two more huge selling points. I'm not sure what the rest of the nail game is like in the Kansas City area, and I'm not sure what the rest of their services are like, but it was a 5 out of 5 visit for me!

Pretty bummed out. Came in for a pedicure at 5:45, they close at 7. There wasn't any customers…read moreinside just 3 employees. No one said hi or how are you she just pointed to a chair and said what color when I asked for a pedi. The water was cold while filling I asked if she could make it warmer, she did for about 5 seconds. No big deal. It was cool but I don't like to complain so no biggie. She trims my nails and cuticles then puts a scrub on just my feet and rubs them for about 3 minutes. Then paints them then slaps lotion on and hot towel 60 seconds later you're done. Super rushed. The whole time it's completely silent in there no music just the sound of the other ladies cleaning and mopping. For the last 10 minutes one of the employees answers a call on speaker phone and the person she's talking too is coughing, like hacking up a lung and it's so loud because of how quiet it is. The lady doing my nails notices my face of disbelief, then says the person she's talking to has allergies. I was like yeah so maybe she shouldn't talk on speaker phone? It wasn't allergies but who cares what it was, it sounded like death and phlegm it was annoying and gross to listen to. Literally I felt like I was in a simulation like people aren't really doing this in real life?? Nope they are just talking loud to someone on speaker coughing and hacking the whole last part of my pedi. I don't know, it was very stale, not friendly staff, uncomfortably quiet, then just crazy unprofessional to take a call on speaker especially when the person is coughing like they're dying. Super awkward and uncomfortable. Super weird experience. Won't be back even though I have 25 left on my gift card. While being done after having already asked multiple times for other things to be adjusted, I finally just gave up when asked if I was ok with the design. The ELEMENTARY level work should be able to be done in a nail technician's sleep. Yet, somehow, this was not the case for me. I'm preparing for a very busy week ahead of me, including day so I was already at the point of just getting done what I came to do - including my toes - and getting it over with. When it came to my toes, the base coat I requested was forgotten ‍ Now, time to pay, I simply asked if they're really going to make me pay an extra $10 for this design? To which I was confronted by the owner in a VERY RUDE manner, threatening to call the police. FOR WHAT?! I asked a simple question. Moral of the story, when they ask if you're ok with what they're doing, keep on them and be strict because these places will play in your face if you're too kind.

Edison (sp?) often does my manicures and he makes my fingernails look so rounded and pretty and just how I like them with a very smooth and natural gel look. Now, I'll stop in for a pedicure. They just got new chairs and they're very comfortable. Everyone always does a great job. On my last visit, my nail tech checked to make sure I liked the polish color before continuing. They also made sure that they weren't hurting me while they were working magic on my toes. They are clean and have great prices and do a quality job.
