This was a cute place in a convenient location. They were busy which gives me the notion that they are good at what they do. It wasn't too long before they sat me in a chair and offered me a drink. I denied the drink but I was curious what KIND of drink they were offering and at what cost. Anyways, I was just getting a full-in. I had my full set done at another salon. I was switching up my design from Ying Yang to Beetlejuice for the Holiday. The lady who did my fill-in did a great job. I appreciated that she took her time. She didn't know how to do design so another lady stepped in. Unfortunately if you want designs, this isn't the place to go. They did my nail design multiple times and eventually due to timing and other obligations I had to settle and leave. This is the only place to come and get your nails done. I have been getting my nails done for over 10 years and I only go to Toni, which recently moved over to the salon. Tony and his wife Are extremely good. They are very attention to detail and want to make sure that every customer is happy. The wait on a Saturday is at least a half hour for a pedi. When I asked if there was a wait, I was told "not at all! Pick your color and have a seat!" I then proceeded to wait and soak my feet in room temperature water for 20 minutes. After realizing I wouldn't get out in under an hour and having somewhere to be, I got up to leave. They said, "oh no, someone will be right with you!" So I sat back down. It took another 10 minutes or so to have someone come see me. When it was all said and done, I still ended up being late. I wish they could have just been straightforward and said there was a wait. The pedicure itself was very pretty, and for that I give the stars. But the experience was not what I had hoped. read more

This is absolutely the best place in all of Kansas City to get a pedicure for the leg massage alone. Get the sugar scrub pedicure and you will definitely get at least a 20 min leg massage. Wouldn't recommend this place. I went in for dip powder like I've gotten several times before at my normal salon. The lady clearly didn't know what she was doing she placed the dip powder all the way up to my cuticles and then when she used her little drill thing she cut my cuticles several times. I went in there with perfectly fine cuticles, today they are sore, and red where she cut them . read more

I received a great pedicure. They didn't rush and made sure to really do a good job. She was polite and friendly and listened when I asked her to give extra attention to certain parts of my feet. I did have to wait quite a bit to actually get the pedicure. I didn't have an appointment so i understand but it took about 35 min from when I got there until I actually got worked on. Seems a little understaffed but the workers were doing a great job so I won't complain too bad! If you are looking for quality and have some time to spare check them out! read more

My first time for to this shop and got a pedicure. When I walked in all the nail technicians were busy but only one person getting a pedicure. Perhaps that should've been a clue. I soaked my feet while waiting my turn observing how the man did his pedicure. I thought oh boy. It looks really great. Then a nail technician was free and came over to start my pedicure. I had some reservation, but thought I'd give her a chance. Mistake. It was like her first time doing a pedicure. Awkwardly holding my toes tile they hurt. She was rough with the nail file and the foot scrubber. I told her along the way but it didn't change. Til finally I told her to just stop. I really couldn't take any more. Now I have a raw spot on my heel. And my nails are not smooth or shaped nicely. IF I go back, I'll wait for the man. read more

The absolute worst nail salon in Kansas City. The first nail technician was so heavy handed that I had to switch technicians. The second technician broke my toe nail while filing my toe nails down then put glue on it to put it back in place. Seriously? Who does that? This is by far the worst nail salon I've ever been to. If i could give this place a zero, I would. Went here on 2/13/2018 to get my nails done at about 5:30. I wanted to get acrylics and my toes done. walked in and there were only two people working there with no other customers. As they're working on my toes, they tell me that neither of them know how to do acrylic so they tell me to come back on valentine's day. I made an appointment and when I went back there were 3 people working and no customers again. ended up being there for 2.5 hours just to get acrylics done and 3 people that walked in about 30 minutes after i did left before i did with NO appointment. while i was getting my nails done, the guy cut my fingers 3 times with the tool and he was one of the people that said he 'didn't know how' to do acrylics. I've never had such a bad experience. There's definitely way better places to go then this hell hole. read more

Staff was very friendly. Shop was clean and nicely decorated. I was disappointed to find out that their "deluxe" pedicure is what I've been getting at other shops as a "basic". My bill was more than I anticipated because of this. My nails have spots that don't have polish on them. Kind of my fault since the salon was so busy I didn't feel like correcting the tech and sitting in the crowd longer. The pedi chairs are awesome, house wine isn't. They were a little pushy with the add ons but that's not really uncommon for nail salons. The eyebrow wax could have been better, not horrible though. I probably won't be returning because of distance and loyalty to my regular shop. It works in a pinch but I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend them. read more
