This was my first time at this salon. I am a regular at a different salon in Redlands. I had an appointment at my go-to place and they didn't allot enough time for me...so I left. Frustrated and needing to get my nails done today, I went to 2 other nail salons in Redlands. Either they looked at me crazy when I walked in or just were downright rude. Needless to say, I found Pretty Nails on Yelp and drove there. From the moment I walked in, they were friendly and accommodating. I was able to walk-in and immediately be taken care of. I have yet to find a good spot in Redlands. I've been to many. But this is the one place I will always consider. They can be really rude if you show pain. One time a lady commented saying "you make it harder for us". Like sorry, but sometimes they cut me 5x straight. I usually have a more pleasant experience with the guys, they're more gentle. But I still come here because their prices are somewhat reasonable and they usually do a good job. UPDATE Will not be coming back, i don't know what materials they use, but my cuticles are completely destroyed. I don't know that i can blame them but I'm upset with the discomfort I have to deal with. My hands were itching and getting tiny little bumps all over them after my last fill. They didnt file my nails smoothly, my nails looked like blobs. And they didnt use cuticle oil, maybe that was part of the reason. Anyway, my cuticles got so dry and irritated that my skin is BREAKING. Oh well. I give up on acrylics. Theyre cute, but I decided it's not worth it anymore. read more

Shop is in a small plaza. Seems like parking is limited however I've only been here on weekdays so I haven't had any problem finding one. I got seated right away even though the place is so small. Only a few chairs inside. It's really crammed up. They have lots of selections of polishes to OPI, Orly, China Glaze and some I've never heard of. I got the $26 pedicure one and that includes callous treatment. It was okay. I've had better ones and also I've had better foot massage and price are a little higher compared to the ones I've tried. But I always want to try new places so I didn't mind paying more here if the service are good and so far I was satisfied. 5 stars because the man who did my pedicure did a great job! I went in three days ago for a gel manicure and was immediately taken care of even though I was a walk-in. Everyone was pleasant; the salon is a small, no frills kind of place. My gel manicure came out ok-- they ran out of the black they were using and switched to a different brand. Nails came out to a dark blue-purple which is OK, just not what I was expecting. Some of my nails are chunky in spots, though... the next day, I noticed that my thumb was peeling already and a few of my nails were chipping, so I called to get it fixed the next day. No hassle repair, but the same thing happened the following day. More chipping and peeling on a manicure that usually lasts two weeks or so for me. This was my first experience here. And they use these pedestals while doing the callus removal so you don't hold your foot up the whole time, which is great if you have any back pain or other issues! Went in for a Pedi and a dip. First they change my nail tech that had started my nails, then I realize half way through they grabbed the wrong color. I let them know, mind you I had been waiting to get my nails done because of previous nail damage. They end up taking those off and start fresh. My nails are already feeling it. I ask him to do them thin and natural. I notice him doing them bulky so I let him know. I rarely speak up at nail salons, but this time I had to. This place I have always drove by but never tried out. Today was the only place that was open and didn't have a wait, so I was like ok I'll try it. But man I'm glad I did, the pedicures are Amazing! For $28 they do a aloe gel peel on your feet, citrus orange scrub on your legs that smells bomb, lotion and oil massage, and a leg cooling mask with hot towels. I had Nick who is the best! I'm not sure if it's just me, but honestly I haven't really ever had a good experience getting my nails done. I got acrylics put on at this place, and the guy who did my nails (older gentleman, I forget his name) did a decent job, but overall it just wasn't the most positive experience. My nails were slightly different lengths, he didn't give me the shape I wanted, and I was cut 3 times with the file from him filing the side of my nails so much. He did help me out because I have half a nail on one nail and he was super respectful about it and made sure the nail still worked out on that one. When he cut me he did apologize and felt bad but I can tell acrylics weren't his specialty. The polished looked super nice and he didn't hardly get any on me, so I'm assuming he's good at painting but just not acrylics. I went with my best friend and she had acrylics put on as well, and hers turned out perfect from her reference photo so I think it just depends on who you get for your nails. They're super nice in there and overall wasn't the worst I've experienced, but I definitely would've preferred a little better of a job. read more

I wish I could give the full 5 stars- but this shop is super small and cramped. They have I think only 5 pedicure spa chairs and only 4 work tables. However. I loved my mani pedi. The workers are super friendly and make polite conversation. My flower design was symmetrical and top notch. My nails were gorgeous for 3 weeks. And for just nail polish that is a miracle!!! :D for both mani and pedi came to $26. Not too bad. Also- this place though small is well ventilated and is not super overwhelming with chemical smells. This place is a small hole in the wall but the nicest people work here and they do a amazing job. I got a gel mani and with the previous gel removed the total was $27 and I couldn't Have been happier. Kelly did my Nails and she was so careful and sweet she didn't hurt me at all or cut me.
