I visited this massage location in Redlands on Colton Street on May 31st around 7:30 p.m., hoping…read moreto relieve some lower back pain. The receptionist was kind, and after a brief discussion, I chose a one-hour deep tissue massage. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible. The therapist used excessive pressure, which made my pain worse, and she placed hot stones on my back without checking the temperature, causing a burn. I tried to express my discomfort, but she didn't understand English, so I couldn't stop her. After the session, I spoke with an older gentleman at the front desk. Once I paid, he asked if I would leave a tip. I declined, and he became outraged. I told him that a tip is optional, not mandatory, and that the reason I wasn't leaving a tip was because the massage was horrible, and the service was poor. He didn't like my response; he told me I was the worst type of person, that my kind of people were horrible, and he launched into a series of racist insults, disparaging Mexico and Mexican people, calling us the worst. He refused to return my card, even though it was rightfully mine. When I threatened to call the police, he doubled down, asking invasive questions about my citizenship, all while continuing to disparage Mexico. Only when I started recording him did he backpedal, claiming he had no issue with Mexicans. Eventually, another staff member, presumably the owner, stepped in, calmed him down, and gave me my card. This was a deeply distressing experience, and I strongly urge others to stay away from this business. Everyone deserves respect, and this establishment failed on every level.

My husband's thoughts and review : 34 yr old male, never had a massage and doesn't really understand why he waited so long for this. They really worked on his legs and helped alleviate his Charlie horses he experiences with a focus on his TMJ and sore neck from previous accident. A man that can't even let his wife massage him was comfortable enough to endure a full 1 hr deep tissue massage from summer. He is excited and expecting to return bi weekly if not monthly!! My thoughts:I sit at a desk all day and then commute on the 91 daily so my hips and neck are tight, I look like Batman fr I love to how sweet and comforting MJ was and how she was able to work out all the kinks in my shoulders and neck and upper back/ arm area while stretching my hips in a way that allowed my pelvic to fully relax and reset !!absolutely incredible work 100/10 will definitely be returning with my husband soon!!

I decide to stay and throughout the whole time both mine and my boyfriend's masseuses kept leaving mid-massage to answer the phone or help a customer that walked in. I really wanted to have a good experience here because the doctor was great. Unfortunately, the…read morefront desk experience completely changed my impression of the office. I asked for a doctor's note to excuse me from work for the next two days while I recover from my back injury. I was told the doctor was at lunch and assured that the note would be emailed to me. Three hours later, I still hadn't received anything, so I called to follow up. Again, I was told it would be sent shortly. Ironically, about a minute after that call, I received an email -- but it wasn't my doctor's note. It was a survey asking me to rate my experience. That pretty much summed up my experience. The lack of professionalism, communication, and follow-through from the front desk was extremely disappointing. When someone is injured and relying on your office for documentation needed for work, they shouldn't have to repeatedly chase it down. The doctor himself was great, which is unfortunate because the front desk experience is the reason I rated my visit a 1. At this point, I'm not even sure I'll return for my follow-up appointment and may choose to continue my care somewhere else.

She was referred to me from a friend, yet I still did my own research and interviewed a few other midwives before committing and I felt like she was the best fit. Each prenatal visit was at least an hour long - she gave me time to ask my questions and never made me feel silly or brushed me off. Having no previous exposure to a home birth, I had a lot of questions yet she answered them all gracefully and in great detail - giving my the confidence I needed to believe in myself that I could do this and that it is safe. Also included in the package was a prenatal massage around 36 weeks and when I tell you it was the best massage in my life - you have to believe me! It was amazing! That hour flew by and I was ready to book another one When I went into labor, I waited until almost the last minute to tell anyone, just to be sure it was the real thing. Well, it was the real thing and it was go time by the time my husband got home from work and Heather arrived. But she didn't waste any time, she jumped in and gave me the encouragement and reassurance I needed to get through transition and birth my baby girl. She was so amazing and was not afraid to get her hands dirty. My 3 year old was there and Heather included her in everything and never pushed her out of the way. Even though I was almost pushing as she walked through the door, she still handled everything with such a calmness and peacefulness that it made that crazy intense last part of birth go so perfectly. If I decide to have baby number 3, a home birth will definitely be my preferred route and Heather would be at the top of my list of midwives (but I would give a longer heads up next time ).
