Booked a last minute hour massage yesterday with my friend and we both loved our massages :) Michael massaged me and focused on some of my problem areas without me even telling him, he just knew! Very impressive. The prices are also very reasonable. The only downside is that the room is not private, you'll possibly be in the same room as other clients. They also did not ask whether we preferred firm or light technique, so I would just verbalize your preference before starting. However, none of this bothered my friend and I and we both want to go back monthly! read more

Stop the lies and uncaring attitude. I called you bc I took my sister for her birthday for a massage Monday. masseuse Vicki injured her! My sister chose a back neck and shoulder with reflexology massage; but, I witnessed when Vicki rubbed her stomach and push her sternum which I thought was odd for the type of massage requested. This excessive push on sternum caused pain that night and for past two days. Why would Vicki push the sternum so hard to cause injury? Again it was a back shoulder neck and foot massage. When I relayed the message to you (by phone) supposedly the owner (even though it says "woman owned" was a man talking to me) it was stated that pushing the sternum is normal for a massage. Hu??? No it is NOT normal. I just wanted an apology and for you to assure you talk to Vicki NOT to press on people sternum. Richard Wilson, owner yet woman owned?? Another lie? Anyways, You stated that was a normal massage procedure. Lies! How is the sternum part of the neck shoulders or feet? I've had many massages and no one has ever pushed on my sternum! If my sister's pain continues she will be going to get rib/chest X-rays and you may be held responsible for possible broken rib or bruised area. All you had to do is talk with Vicki instead of lying (making up stories) and maybe call and check on my sister tomorrow and show concern! I hung up because you lied! Sternum is not lower back read more

Amazing massages! Clean, professional, and very competitively priced. Love this gem of a place.

Very relaxing we enjoyed it immensely. Best foot massage ever and convenient location.

This is amazing! Cozy, peaceful, and spotless The massage was so relaxing and refreshing ‍ Stress just melted away. The therapist was kind, skilled, and made me feel completely at ease I'll definitely be back! read more

I hardly ever leave a review but today I think I should because the man in the front desk so unprofessional and because last time I had massage done and I didn't like the therapist to so I went today and he pretend like there is no availability even so the lady was standing there and she was ready to take a client. I don't appreciate that kind of business. You will never see me there again and I do not recommend it. By the way I used to love the dad. He was very nice. He's sick at the moment. I hope he get well soon.. read more

This massage place is located in the heart of Old Town Yucaipa, charming indeed. There's side street parking and signs show there's parking in the rear. We had call in to make reservations so we were seen right away. We did package B foot massage. It consisted of 30 minutes foot massage and 30 minutes upper body including head/scalp, neck, shoulder and back. For my massage I felt like it was good during the head and scalp portion. I guess she was feeling something because she really worked the back of my head. As for my legs I wished she used a bit more pressure. I was sadden when one leg got more attention than the other as far as techniques goes. I loved that as I got done and was putting my shoes back on she asked if I wanted water and got me some even though it was self serve in the front. That was very kind of her. My other friends who came said they enjoyed their massages a lot and really liked the ladies that worked on them. Overall a clean, friendly and nice facility. Prices are set fairly and I would go back to this place again in the near future. read more

Great techniques. Friendly staff. Quiet calming environment. Affordable quality massage. Will definitely be back and I appreciated the late appointments! I booked a couples massage for 11am Sunday the 31st. When we got there we were told they don't open until 12. But they still booked me for 11am. The "old man" as he was referred to let us in and put us in a room and had us get ready said they would be there sometime soon. Once we're ready and laying in the bed another man says he cannot do the massages until 12 because he's there by himself. He claims the other man is "old and confused" I'm upset at that as we had a whole day planned. So we get dressed move some plans around and come back at noon and the old man says he can't see us til 1pm now. He was unapologetic, he says he also works at another location that opens earlier so he messed up at booking me but still couldn't accommodate us. An apology goes a long way in these situations but none was given and I have always loved this place but I do not think I'll be coming back. read more

Came here to get facials with my sisters. It was 40 bucks each for a 50 min facial. We were all in the same room and they start by putting different creams on your face, then they put a mask on while they massage your neck and arms a little bit. They leave you for about 10 min for the mask to finish drying then they come and pull it off, place more creams on your face and it's all done! It was pretty relaxing. Definitely want to come back and try the massage! read more

5 months pregnant with twins and I got a prenatal massage and it was AMAZING! $50 for 80 minutes and it did not disappoint. I had Amy and she was great. Very deep massage and relieved so many aches and pains! Will definitely be going back every two weeks until babies are here. My friend got the 80 minute sole/back massage and also enjoyed it. 10/10 reccomend. read more

My last time I was here was 5 years ago. I thought I would give them another try. I had the combo massage 30 mins foot, 30mins body. They had me change into this strapless spa/bath cover(which smelled like scented body lotion or perfume). You leave your pants on and lay on the upholstered rectangular low table. The foot massage was just ok.She just rubbed but didn't do any pressure points. During the massage i was covered with this soft but itchy blanket. The 30 min "body massage" was really only half body and was again, just stroking the back no real massage. After it was over, I watched as she folded the blanket back onto the bottom of those upholstered massage tables in the main area. When I was done I had red itchy blotches on my chest, arm and shoulders from that blanket. read more

My brother and I came here. He got the deep tissue and I got the Swedish massage. WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. This place is amazing. I would give them 6 stars if I could. They know their art! I am recommending it to everyone I know. Be back in the next couple weeks if not next week! Thank you! read more

I had 1 hour message. it was great, very relaxing and soothing. The therapist was outstanding. Excellent this will be my place.

Not a relaxing environment at all. When I went into the room, I noticed there was no music or scents, like essential oils, and I thought when the masseuse came in, she would turn on the music. She did not. I could hear the manager on the phone with a customer resolving a customer service issue, then I hear the gentleman in the room next to me talking the ear off his masseuse. I mentioned to the lady that I would like to get my phone and play some soundscapes to drown out the noise. Unfortunately, she did not speak English and went and got the manager. He comes and I tell him that I could hear his entire conversation and I can hear the conversation of the guy next-door and this is not relaxing. He notices that the music is off and turns it on. The music is so low that you can barely hear it and each of the rooms do not touch the ceiling so there's about a 5 inch gap all the way around. So I put my soundscapes on in efforts to drown out the talkative man next-door to no avail. For the next 20 minutes, he is still chatting up his masseuse, when he gets ready to leave I felt a sigh of relief that at least the last half of my massage will be in peace. Boy was I wrong, he went to the front and he and the manager continue to chat for the next 20 minutes. Loudly laughing and talking about medical ailments and his entire life story. It was not the masseuses fault, and she did a good job. But the environment was definitely not calm or relaxing. I get ready to leave and I stop at the front where the masseuse is waiting for her tip. I give her the tip because again this was not her fault. I go to pay and the manager asks if the music helped, and I told him no and I just repeated his entire conversation to which he said, "well yeah the guy was loud and wouldn't leave. Guess he was lonely." He then proceeded to charge me the full amount offers no resolution to the horrible experience. Will never go back again. Sad because the massage was good, but I couldn't fully enjoy it with the loud and disruptive environment. read more

Worst massage ever!!! I told the masseuse to massage light because she was hurting my back so bad and she replied with "I don't understand!" How could an establishment employ workers that does not understand customers? It was the worst massage experience I have ever had, I went there to get a relaxing massage instead I got a back pain for 3 days from the crazy pressure that masseuse applied on my back, I will never go back. I love Charming! I've been going there for years. Can't beat the price. They have become very popular over the last couple of years, so call ahead for an appointment. IMO, the best deal is the 80 minute Head to Soul massage. 60 minutes is just not enough! If you opt for that massage in the group room, make sure to wear very loose clothing because you will be wearing it during your massage. Unless you pay extra for oils then they give you a hospital gown to change into and you can wear that in the group room while getting your massage. I have always found Charming to be clean and very professional. I have booked a private room massage in the past, but because I like to get massages frequently, I find that the group room massages fit my budget better. The main difference is that in the private room you can specify which areas you want them to focus on. You are able to customize your massage. Whereas in the group room, they have a routine that they follow for your massage. If you have any special instructions about your massage make sure to let the man at the front desk who checks you in know when you arrive, because most of the therapist do not speak English. They do appear to understand body language, so if during your massage you want the pressure to be harder or softer, just tell them. If you do not want them to massage a certain area (i.e. your rotator cuff), just point & say no. They seem to understand 1-2 word phrases. They are also open pretty late which is great! Soooo relaxing. read more

Hey Yelp People! Been coming here since early 2016, total of approximately 25 times as of today. Always a great experience, and we never have trouble communicating with the staff! All the massage therapists are congenial, and seem to go the extra mile to make your visit just right. Jenny, Amy, and Gigi are just a few of our favorites. Happy relaxing! read more

We went here 3 times previously, an okay experience, no complaints. Price is right, message was good. We scheduled a 90 minute, for my wife and I together. Showed up as we did before, and we're told they did not have a room for two people together, we would have to be in separate rooms, as a matter of fact. I asked why, counter person said if we wanted to stay together, we should have requested that specifically...as a matter of fact. I respond that, in the past, we've always said, " my wife and I would Like to come in together for a massage, we've always been escorted to a room with two beds, so I would expect......that the person who took my call (it was him- it's always been him) would understand "my wife and I would like to come in together....means a couples massage. At this point, they clearly didn't have an open room with two tables, that's okay, but don't make it my fault.....the customer, who's bringing you business, parking my car in your lot making it look like people go there...tipping your workers, and have an attitude....just really....off putting, also, not the kind of treatment I want to receive before I go take my clothes off? Idk, want to be welcomed in, and be made to feel completely comfortable. If I'm at the gas station, I don't expect much. Right? Then he says, I'll make the girls go get this other room ready, it'll take 5 minutes...(really? Because now I'm creeped out by you) We were caught off guard, and said ok, but as he's walking away, he mutters, have a seat, it will be a while.....REALLY? Lmao. We left. We will never go back. Dude is super creepy. Idk. Dude is weird, place is weird now. It feels like you're at joes cousins house who does Massage in the back room. I did go there three times before, he just took the money at the end, there wasn't really any interaction, so it didn't seem weird, now it's weird. Shrug. The ladies are nice! read more

It was my first time in. I drove about 15 miles out because there is no good shop near my home (Beaumont, CA). Anyway, Amy was my masseuse...she was great! The best massage place with a reasonable price! Other big name businesses have high prices, shorter massage times and massages are more like a back tickle. But not here, the perfect pressure, prices and the time you pay for is what you get! read more

Hi! This was my very first ever full body massage. I read the reviews and thought I'd better go check it out for myself. $50 for a full body massage is worth every penny! Coco has amazing skills! She maybe petite but her hands and elbows knows where to find all of the kinks and how much pressure to apply. I am so looking forward to repeat visits to this place! Note: don't wear any makeup for this service. She massages every part of your face and head- goodness it was heavenly. Parking: limited (curb only?) Staff: responsive and friendly Service: Full body massage and worth every penny Prices: very reasonable Minus a star bc the space can use some sprucing up. read more

A great place for a good massage. Nothing fancy, but guarantee you will feel great when you leave. Amy is really good and really takes time on your "problem areas"- shoulders for me read more

Super nice staff, very professional and accommodating. You really cannot beat their prices.

If you're looking for a resort style massage, this is not your spot. But the 80 minute sole and back massage for $50 is a great deal. You have the option of keeping your clothes on or using one of their hospital gowns and adding oil to your service (this is what my boyfriend and I chose.) I can only speak on my massage but my lady did a great job for symmetry, doing all the same things to both sides of my body, and her foot massage was so good, almost put me to sleep. I did book an appointment to ensure they had two people available but it was a Thursday evening and pretty quiet, pretty sure we had the whole place to ourselves. They would get 5 stars but they could be a little more sanitary with their face pillows, and used some very rough paper towels to wipe the oil off your body. read more

Amy is very talented and focused on her work. She's very precise and you get the same massage on the left as you do on the right. I pay attention to that. Tells me she knows the critical points. Very happy with her work and the business provides her to me inexpensively. Can't beat it. read more

WOW. This place really helped me with some terrible back pain I was having I tweaked my back doing some housework and was in really bad pain and struggling to bend over and do every day tasks. I came in for a 30 minute deep tissue back massage out of last minute desperation because I couldn't even pick up my baby without wincing in pain. May (Mae?) gave me the best massage of my life and immediately located and worked on the problem area without me even mentioning it - she knew what she was doing and was SO strong. Thank you for the help, I woke up feeling almost completely good as new. I thought I'd be dealing with that back pain for a long time, but that massage really did the trick. What a blessing. I will be back and recommending all my friends - money and time well spent. Thank you thank you!! read more

I tried this place after my parents went a few weeks ago. I was okay with the experience except the Hospital gowns they have us wear just don't seem clean. They are oily and heavy feeling. The first one that I was given smelt like sweat. It was really gross. I do also want to mention that my parents tried this place out a few weeks before I did and they had a horrible customer service experience. My parents are retired and live off a fix income. At the end of their massage they provided the massage ladies with a $5 tip each and in front of everyone, they demanded a $10 tip and said they had to pay that amount. My parents said they paid in full the posted cost for the massage and a tip amount should always be at the discretion of the customer and its very rude to DEMAND a certain tip amount. Which I agree. read more

Great prices. Friendly staff. Business hours that worked well with my schedule. Great value

As far as environment; The noise level was a little less than ideal but the place was clean and cheery. Both my wife and I work stressful jobs and this is one of our favorite things to do to unwind. The $25 sole and back massage is great and easy to get appointments or walk in slots any day. You don't have to get undressed for the sole and back and they start from head to toe, then back again. Working out the knots as well as many other spots in between. We usually get different people, my favorite is Lucy. All of the ladies put a different spin on it, but rest assured they are all great! I would highly recommend Charming Massage to anyone looking for a great place to unwind. And at their prices, you really can't beat them. read more

Thought the place would be busy because of Valentine's but it was very quiet at 7pm. No clients. Later on after my 80 min massage, a couple walked in. Anyway... I decided to do the 30 mins foot soak & massage which comes w/ back, neck, arms, shoulders massage (total of 80 minutes for $60). Amy massaged me. Richard, the co-owner, greeted me and led me to the changing area where he handed me a hospital gown to change. Opening on the back for easy access when your masseuse massages your back. Last week I did the private room for 60 min/$60 . I love my feet soaked in warm water while getting my scalp, neck, shoulders and arms getting down so I opted for this one. Very relaxing. They didn't have anyone at 7:15 pm so I had the open space to myself. I even dozed off while she was massaging my feet. Keep in mind that when they do your feet, they wear gloves but when they work on the rest of your body, they use their hands without the gloves. Anyway, I was so relaxed that I dozed off during the feet massage. Another couple came in just as my massage was ending. I can tell Amy was trying to make sure the hospital looking-gown was on me and not half-assed naked when I get up. She carried my clothes and shoes and led me to the room next door to change back to my clothes. She was so sweet. I plan to bring a group of 4-5 people next time. read more
