I have been to Ancient Thai Massage in Redlands for 60 & 90 minute massages many times over the past few years. Have had some great massages there. Today was my LEAST FAVORITE. NO BUENO. For a 1 hour traditional hot herb massage, it's $85 (plus tip), so basically, $100. For that price, I would prefer an actual massage that focuses on massaging out knots and sore muscles. Today's massage was instead, a lot of compression and stretching. :( Also, my first time ever getting a massage in the front room, close to the street, close to the driveway close to the waiting room. Needless to say, I was highly distracted by the constant traffic/street noise, business phone calls, people coming and going for their appointments, doors opening and closing, people walking the halls etc. I had a difficult time relaxing with all the noises and bustling about the small house. I called to make an appointment and the person who picked up was extremely rude. I asked when their first availability was and the person on the phone raised their voice and condescendingly answered what day, what day. They continued to raise their voice and speak condescendingly. If this is how this business makes appointments, I am very uninterested in coming here. I've been going to this place for the past several years. They never disappoint. The ladies are so good and the pressure is always to your liking. They are clean and I feel good putting my face down on the massage bed because the sheets are always clean. They also have a couple's massage room. I love the tea they serve at the end. read more

I called weeks ahead to reserve a 60 minute massage. They had me pay 50% in advance to put down the reservation. On the day of, parking in rear was plentiful for a 10:30am session. My friend and I did the intake form before going into the private room. Peach was my masseuse. Very respectful on the parts I needed work on but were very sore (sciatica and knee). I did the herbal treatment which felt amazing (the heated treatment was a really nice touch). The restroom was clean and stocked. The tea they served after was refreshing and fragrant. Overall, they are well-kept, clean, respectful and affordable. I'd be down to go weekly but it would depend on my work schedule and weekend plans. read more

Still a great place, I had MJ and she really worked on the knots. Just be aware they've upped their prices on the massage menu about 10.00 more per massage since I posted this picture. As of August 2024; so your basic 1 hour massage is now 80.00. They also charge a 3.00 credit card fee. I love the place but it kinda feels a little too pricey for me right now (with tip on top of that), and I may just have to stick with my mall massage places for now. read more

We didn't have a reservation, but they took us in for our walk-in with a 0-minute wait :) MJ and Aura were very kind and helpful the entire process! MJ kept checking that the pressure wasn't too much/painful. Aura focused on my problem areas and loosened/got rid of my knots! I am so glad I gave this place a chance. It was a bit of an odd location to me at first, but I was immediately greeted by a very sweet lady. She had me wait about 5 minutes while they prepped my room. In the meantime I filled out a form and circled what parts of my body I wanted massaged and what parts I did not want/need massaged. Then, a woman named Lana did a very detailed massage. She got YEARS of tension out of my body. At the end of my massage, the lady who greeted me gave me a cup of fruit tea that was delicious. My pain comes and goes - years now and Drs can't find what's wrong, they have just tried to give me muscle relaxers and pain meds which don't even help. She didn't understand me very well, resulting in not massaging my legs at all.
