Where this place shines is their nail techs and professionalism. Daniel was so kind, and very diligent with the cuticles. I almost decided not to pain the nails because they looked so good when he was done. Go for the sea salt scrub - it's worth the extra couple bucks. Mindys sure isn't the nail salon that I remember. Just went in on a Monday mid morning and found it very dirty and understaffed. Came in for a gel manicure and had two different manicurist do my nails. Each one was also servicing other customers at the same time. Both gals filed more skin around my cuticles that sent me jumping. I actually showed the gal a photo of the shape and color that I wanted and I had to shape several of my own nails while she worked on another customer. 38.00 dollars later!! Won't go back! read more

Spare yourself! Everything not done to basic standards. They made my ingrown worst and not sanitary. They grind off the gel and tried to tell me after I wanted to leave they would soak them off for me because that's not the way to do it. The girl wasn't even going parallel to my nails and the grinding tool was gonna grind down to the natural nail. Please I'm telling you. I can do a way better job without a license. Exceptional dip Nails's and loved the shape., I have had a cold so couldn't get back to him on schedule but even after 5 weeks they looked great. Pedicure was perfect. I have ingrown nails and he didn't dig and dig like most technicians usually do. He cut the curved corners and cleaned. No pain, just beautiful toes. They were very friendly and the pedicure was great. However, my dip powder was messy. We went on Sunday because it was one of few places open. I knew it wasn't great before I left, but didn't complain. I was hoping the edges would clean up as the day wore on. I needed a new set of acrylics and my regular place was booked so I did a walk in here for the first time. "Jack in the box" did my nails, He made me feel so uncomfortable. He kept asking if I was happy and enjoyed my nails and if I needed anything he always comes into work early and he could always take care of me. Asked if I was married and at one point during the manicure took my wedding ring and flipped it over on my finger then laughed saying it was to blingy. He would make inappropriate conversation and kept asking if I'm enjoying what he's doing and kept saying he loves me. I've never felt this uncomfortable getting my nails done. Also way overpriced. 60 dollars for a ombré french manicure on my natural nails was ridiculous. The most unprofessional and inappropriate behavior I've ever come across in a nail salon. TOMMY TRAN aka JACK ruined my nails! I showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted, black frenchies tapered square and he gave me thick bulky nails. He is extremely unprofessional and he makes sexual comments that will make you uncomfortable. TOMMY TRAN doesn't wash his hands when he's done smoking and will come in smells like cigarettes and start doing your nails like that. He also doesn't wash his hands between clients so he'll do a pedicure and once he's done touch that persons feet he'll come touch your hands. TOMMY TRAN told me my nails were too small for the picture I showed him which makes no sense. TOMMY TRAN was being lazy and tried to rush my service. My nails are all cracked and bleeding because I requested the nails be taken off since I wasn't going to pay for the set TOMMY TRAN rushed. I also have numerous cuts on my nails from TOMMY TRAN AKA JACK I was loyal customer to this establishment but I will NEVER spend my money here ever again. I will also be reporting TOMMY TRAN. Where do I begin so first off, I came here super last minute because my nails were in a state of emergency. They close at 7 and I Came at 6:30 and there was only 1 man working. He was very friendly and extremely sweet. However, he must have just got done smoking a cigarette because it smelled of smoke so bad. Once my gel manicure was finished my HANDS smelled like cigarette smoke! I had to wash them several times to get it completely gone. The second time I went in asking for a full set and the woman doing my nails was not interested in doing them at all. Several times she took out her iPhone in the middle of my service and was showing the other ladies working there her fb or something on her phone. She had just glued my tips on not even cut them yet and she takes out her phone and I kid you not, turned away from me and gabbed with her coworkers about whatever was on the phone for 5 minutes. I was in total shock. This happened 3-5 times during my service. Then, I repeatedly asked for squoval nail shaped. And was left with Square ass brick nails. I mean, I literally can't. I just wanted a short set painted black with some glitter. No to much detail or design so I thought. When he was done he told me my nails cost $50... WTF!? I called them just to get my acrylics removed and a regular manicure at 5 o'clock when they close at 7 o'clock and they told me yes they could do that for me so I walked in sat down. After a second of being in there I could tell everybody was looking at me even the people who are getting their nails done I was the only black man in that salon and the lady came with me and told me they don't have time for me today after I already called them and ask them if they would have time to do this for me. I went in as a walk in before the holiday weekend. I walked in and noticed that it was VERY warm inside.. I sat down and explained to the what I wanted which was a simple gel manicure. After shoving a HUGE board in my face to show me the colors, I picked one and the manicure started. The person who was doing my nails said maybe two things to me the entire manicure. There were quite a few employees sitting around one with legs up in the chair with shoes off as if it was her home. The person doing my nails was talking in her language to the lady next to me and you could tell the conversation got heated because the tech next to her got up and left slamming the back door behind her leaving her customer with her hands in the lights. Then the other tech left for the day. I'm sorry but that was VERY unprofessional! After she finished my manicure, very fast I might add, she told me to go wash my hands and then disappeared. The man behind me had to tell me that she was done and rushed me to pay. After he told me my amount he informed me that it would be an extra dollar to run my card... REALLY?!?! I paid it and left... When I got in my car I looked at my nails and noticed that one hand was a darker shade than the other... How does that happen? I am highly disappointed that my money went to this place! By far the worst my nails have ever looked. I called ahead of time to make an appointment and ask how much a fullset of pink and white ombre would cost. He told me $35 and up so I asked "What would make it go up?" He told me the length and I was fine with that because I typically like my nails short. However, I still thought that was a great price for a fullset of pink and white ombre so I asked him again... "$35 for a fullset of pink and white ombre?" He assured me thats what it was so I made my appointment and an appointment for a pedicure for my friend. After we decided on a time and he took my information I asked him one more time "$35 for a fullset of pink and white ombre, right?" He assured me that's what it was going to be again. (I know it might sound like I was going over board but I looked at some reviews ahead of time and the biggest problem I saw was the inaccurate pricing) Guess what?! It was $45... Ugh! Okay, not a big deal, at least she told me before she did it. I decided to go ahead and pay the extra $10 for ombre and not make a fuss. I had been looking forward to getting my nails done and my friend was already getting started on her pedicure so it was worth it to me. I tried being friendly with the girl doing my nails but she was short with me. Not in a rude way just not wanting to really talk. I waited for a minute after someome else took my polish off while she finished with another customer. So when I sat in her chair she asked me what was wrong because I was messing with my nails. I showed her I was trying to get the rest of the grey nail polish off before she started. She looked and said okay. I figured maybe she would get it all off when she drilled. Umm no. I can still see the grey under my nails but didn't think to look right away because I thought she would fix it. The process from start to finish was horrible. She GLUED my fingers together but I got them apart. She cut my nails all different lengths. She complained that ombre was too many steps (Isn't that why I am paying more? Why is she complaining?) She kept cutting me when she was drilling on the acrylic. Then told me I needed to relax... It hurts! I can't relax! She painted my nails with glitter nail polish which I did NOT ask for. I had acrylic ALL OVER MY FINGERS when I left. Then she told me she put quick dry on my nails as if she were doing me a favor... Probably wanted to get me out of there asap. By the time I realized how bad it was I just wanted to get leave. When I finally got most of the acrylic off of my fingers I could see how bad it really was. ALL of my nails are lifted towards the base so much so when I wash my hair my nails get stuck. It doesn't even look like ombre. It's a completely mess! I got the $26 dollar hot oil pedicure with callous treatment.. the lady did such a good job! She didn't rush on my polish and she scrubbed the ish outta my feet so that was good. I've been looking for a good nail place around Beaumont so Yucaipa wasn't too far for me. I also got my eyebrows waxed and I felt like the lady took her time with my brows too. I wish she would've cut the beginning of my brows with the manicure scissors like other people do but it was my fault for not speaking up. The shop is a little small with only about 6 massage chairs for pedicures I think? But as a walk in (on a Sunday) I got in right away after coming from another shop that was a 45 min wait. This salon will not be on my list of go to places. If no stars could be given, I would. I needed to get my nails done last minute, so after checking Yelp reviews, I thought I'd give this place a try. When I called to make the appointment, the guy was very quick, said ok, didn't ask my name then hung up. Not the best first impression. But still thought I'd give it a try due to high reviews. I kind of wondered why none of the photos showed what the salon looks like but I guess now I know. It's not the cleanliest of salons. For the gel salon, I had a framed posterboard to hold on my lap trying to decide. Prices are kind of high for what you get... nicer, better massage chairs (Bella Vous). Most places now ask if you'd like something to drink, at least water, but that wasn't the case. I got a new set of pink-and-white acrylics. 4 days later, there's already lifting showing on 5 nails. Some of the nails are bumpy and the tips look more like a fan than the square-round that I had to repeat multiple times to Tommy because he kept wanting to make them square. For my gel pedicure, I've never had it be that fast, not in a good way. I've had issues with ingrown toenails. Typically, on the big toes, more time is taken because of the sensitivity and having to dig a big deeper (not cutting further down, but keeping the nail straight across). Before I realized it, she had cut deep into the sides. Now it hurts a bit when I wear closed-toe shoes and have to wait for them to grow out again. My feet were not left feeling very smooth and I had to ask her to clean the cuticles better. The technician also does the waxing and got up to do a quick wax without even saying excuse me or that she'll be right back. Most of all, the Inappropriate and uncomfortable remarks made my Tommy is the main reason I will not return to this salon. He kept asking questions if I was married or had a boyfriend then a number of times told me that I was sexy and he would make my nails sexy, too. Some of the other technicians I could see, seemed sweet and had nice interactions with their clients. But the rushed work and continued comments and uncomfortable feelings are not something that should be experienced during what's supposed to be a relaxing time. read more

I chose Mindys because I used to come years ago and the three salons I usually choose had a very long wait. I walked into this place at 9:30am and there was only one technician working and he was in the middle of a pedicure. He asked what I wanted and I said "just gel polish" and he said "okay 15 min choose color and sit on 3". The other girl who was getting the pedicure had to be a regular because they were very friendly with each other. He kept talking about how she should take him on her vacation instead of her boyfriend. Anywho, he stopped in the middle of her pedicure to come start my nails and he asked what color and I told him. It's a neon yellow color that I already had on my toes that I had done two days earlier at Botanic in Redlands. He said "this color very light won't show up" and I said "it's okay I have it on my toes it's not that light" and he looks down and said "where you get those done" and I said "botanic in Redlands" and he said "why didn't you go there" and I was kind of taken aback but I laughed it off. I've had gel polish on my nails for probably 5 years now so I know the drill. However he did it all wrong (compared to all the other nail people I've had the past 5 years). He took off the last of my old gel and buffed my nails but he didn't have me wash my hands before starting the polish. He proceeded to put on the clear gel coat while my hands were covered in specs of nail crap. I personally think he was rushing since the other girl was mid pedicure. He then put on the first coat of my polish and had me put both hands in the light for like 3-5 mins while he went back to the other girl. This went on for all four coats of polish. He'd go back and forth between us. It would've been faster if he would've just stayed with me and had me leave my hands in for 1 minute like usual. He finally finished and then had me wash my hands at the very end. Strange but okay. I then looked down and noticed that there was polish all in my cuticles and my thumb wasn't even painted all the way. Luckily I only spent $15 so it wasn't a huge waste of money, but it was a waste of time. Getting gel on my nails usually takes 20 mins, 30 with a manicure but I was there from 9:30-10:45. I just wish he would either told me to wait until she was done so he could've taken his time or just told me it would be awhile since he was by himself. Moral of the story I'll stick to my usual places. I gave them 3 stars because he was pretty funny and kept conversation going but he did say a few things that made me uncomfortable. After reading other reviews I see that is common though. He asked me why I didn't have a boyfriend and then he asked me if he could come over later for a bbq. He also picked up my drink and asked me if he could have a drink. I did appreciate that he was friendly and funny since it could've been awkward with just two customers in there, but sometimes I did feel uncomfortable. read more

The service here was absolutely amazing. Never going back to my old nail salon after coming here! New favorite place. Their prices were great, staff was friendly and compassionate. I went in to get acrylics removed and they took time to not damage the nail and did repeated soaks to make sure they didn't cause any pain. It was so nice not having them ripped off like other salons did. Also, the place is super clean. We watched them open new, sterile tools. Such a relief! Definitely recommend. 10/10 read more

The only reason I don't give them five stars is because they always miss some spots when I get my face waxed. Otherwise I would give them five stars. I pay $35 and I still have to come home and tweeze above my lip, she left about 10 hairs sitting there and I did tell her before I left that I could feel the hairs still there!! But she said NO! They have a magnifying lamp and I do not understand why they don't use it when they wax my face. I will try them one more time. If they don't do a good job I will have to find somewhere else.
