And let me tell you, I have had sleep problems my whole life and I've never been able to just relax too because of my neurodivergent diagnoses. But she helped me relax. She worked on my shoulder knots more toward the end and she was able to break them apart, but not fully rid me of them because we had ran out of time. But best believe I'll go back for longer. Afterwards, I was worried I'm not going to lie because for the rest of the day my shoulders & neck were sore. But I have it the night because I know she did a lot. The next morning, I felt good! Still a little sore but definitely a lot more flexibility in my neck & shoulders. (A bit of context: before I went in I had pain in my right shoulder & couldn't life my arm a certain way) but I was able to helicopter my arms! It was great. Her other client was already sitting in the chairs in the front, waiting to be seen after me. Once she saw me and Cindy walk out to the front, she started to walk up towards the front desk and was kind of just standing there. I was trying to get my phone out of my bag and get to Zelle so I can re-tip Cindy. There was also another either receptionist or hairstylist who was behind the counter or front desk. I wasn't sure what she was doing. All of a sudden I hear Cindy whisper "stop losing weight. " I heard her say that, but I didn't think it was towards me. Then once again about three seconds later, I hear her say it again whispering "stop losing weight. "I then turn to Cindy and I say "are you talking to me? I weigh 150 pounds and I'm 5'4, What do you mean stop losing weight? "At this point her next client was already standing right by us, waiting to be like called back and the other stylist or receptionist not sure who she was was behind the desk also very close to us. So after I asked her if she was talking to me about stop losing Weight Cindy's next client and the stylists were receptionist were like frozen and kind of things got awkward because they heard me confront Cindy about why she said to me to stop losing weight. After I ask Cindy why she would say that to me, Cindy then says "Skinny Minnie." I then am looking her in the eyes at this point and I say back "Skinny Minnie?" I say what does "skinny mini mean?" I then am waiting for a response from her and she says "you look.... good." In a very condescending way as she blinks twice. All four of us, the stylist behind the counter, Cindy's next client, me and Cindy. It seems like time froze because it was so awkward. I don't think Cindy expected me to stick up for myself and to stay out loud and bring to light what she was whispering to me, which to me seemed like such a high school bully move. I felt like she body shamed me and bullied me that day. Then once I stuck up for myself and both girls around us heard me then Cindy tried to double back and act like she was complementing me. How can you compliment someone by telling them to stop losing weight? I'm sorry but whispering to me twice to stop losing weight? And then calling them a skinny mini after I stand my ground and tell her how can I be a skinny mini when I weigh 150 pounds and I'm 54. This happened on September 2 around 12 PM. It could've been maybe 12:05 PM. we did exchange text messages after I was crying in my car from the adrenaline and peer shock of what she had said to me and I was parked right in front of the salon so I'm sure she saw me upset. I told her to never take my kindness for weakness again, and I said I will walk into that salon and let every one of those stylist know what you said to me and let them have an opinion on it. I don't know if she treats other clients like this or if she was just angry she had to fix my hair so she was trying to lose me as a client that day and whisper some mean stuff to me and didn't think that I was gonna stick up for myself. The reason is unknown, but it is uncalled for and no one should be treated that way by their stylist, I will never go back to her. I was nothing but kind to this lady. I have text messages if the manager would like to see them and I put the correct date and time that it happened if you would like to see who was working that day and they can verify what I said was true. She never denied saying those things to me in the text messages. She just had excuses of why she said those things to me in those text messages anyways, I thought I would share my experience because I hope she's not doing this to any other girls. Shame on you Cindy.

First, I felt like the nail techs were rushing through the appointment. While removing my previous acrylic, my real nail was lifted/cut to the point that it started bleeding and burning. Even after the new acrylic was applied, my finger was still hurting. I showed the nail tech a picture of exactly what I wanted, including the shape, color, and design. Unfortunately, my nails came out looking nothing like the picture. The shape was wrong, the color was completely different, and the white tip was not done the way I specifically requested. One person did my nails while another person painted them. I showed the second nail tech the colors I wanted and explained exactly how I wanted the white tip. She attempted the tip several times, but it continued to come out differently than what I had asked for. Eventually, I got so frustrated that I just told her, "Just leave it like that." At that point, I had to explain to both nail techs that this was not what I had asked for and also address how much my finger was hurting from my real nail being lifted/cut. I was simply told, "Sorry," and was offered to pay half of the price, which was $25. Honestly, I feel like I shouldn't have had to pay anything, considering the experience and the condition of my finger. However, I still paid the $25. I'm not someone who likes to complain or post negative reviews, but I feel like customers deserve to get what they ask for--especially when they provide a picture beforehand. As you can see in the last picture, what I wanted and what I actually received are completely different. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I've noticed they always seem to be in such a rush, and today was enough for me. Very disappointed with the entire experience. The last picture is what I asked for!!! As you can see nothing similarly!

I arrived at 10:45 AM and asked if they had availability for a gel manicure. They said yes, so I was seated with the first technician. I showed her a few nail designs I was considering, but she immediately told me to move to another seat so a different technician could help me. At that point, I figured some of the designs might not be their specialty, so I decided to go with something simpler and asked for chrome tips instead. I specifically asked beforehand if they offered chrome, and I was told yes. I ended up waiting until around 11:28 AM to be seen. Once the second technician started, there was still confusion about the design. She thought I wanted white tips instead of chrome, even though I had explained what I wanted. She eventually tried to do the chrome, but she had already started applying the white tips and was about to put on the clear coat before I pointed out that it wasn't the design in the photo I had shown her. My biggest concern, however, was how my natural nails were filed. I have my real nails, and the filing was so aggressive that it became extremely painful. I mentioned multiple times that it hurt, especially around the edges of my nails, but she continued filing. Now, the following day, my index finger is swollen, and my thumb and other nails are extremely painful. Even putting on my socks hurts because of the sensitivity. I paid $45 for the service and even tipped $5 in advance. I understand that mistakes happen, and I appreciate that she tried her best, but I didn't leave until around 12:30 PM. I feel like I wasted so much time and money, especially considering that I didn't get the design I originally requested and am now dealing with significant pain in my natural nails. I normally don't like leaving negative reviews, especially because everyone has always been sweet, but after several visits, I felt it was important to share my experience. I really hope they can improve communication with clients and be more careful when filing natural nails. I understand that not every design may be possible, and I would have been completely fine with being told that upfront. My biggest disappointment is that I communicated what I wanted and that I was in pain, yet neither issue was properly addressed. No one should leave a manicure feeling this uncomfortable or experiencing this much pain the next day.
