The best place I've been to so far. The sweet lady who did my nails was the owner, I'm quite sure. She took her time on each one of my nails and made sure they were symmetrical and absolutely perfect. I am extremely happy with the job and couldn't ask for better. I dont think I've ever been treated so well before. They were all so sweet to me and had the best prices so far. I got a cut/fill and I love how they turned out. It's exactly what I wanted. I'm always a fan of getting my pedicure, but Pretty Nails is the first place I've been that I've really LOVED their manicure. Not only does Hun Li do a great job, her manicures regularly last 5-7 days on me. I literally type ALL DAY LONG, so this is really saying something. In addition to their high quality, their prices are excelent. If you go, get at least the European Spa Pedicure - it's only a few $ more and the massage & cooling lotion are WELL WORTH IT. For the price of their pedicures they did great. I got the European Pedicure which was $21, I was seated right away, the pedicure and color was nice. I always just get a sheer color but I've been to other places where it doesn't look like I've even gotten my nails done but I'm happy with the work. I will be back again. I think the person who did my nails name is Tan, but I had both guys before. Amazing work 5 stars for them however my sister got her nails done by Cindy. She did an amazing job before, but this time she was rude. My sister told her to be gentle because she was being a bit rough, she refused and said she was being as gentle as possible. Her nails came out short and chunky. Not what my sis asked for. The whole process was rushed and was quick. We believe it was because she did not get a break after she had done someone's pedi. Honestly at first they seemed ok but the last 4 times they did terrible on my daughter's nails. I had an expensive set of acrylics done on my daughter and only a week later they started falling off. My last straw with this place was this last Monday. The guy Liam made my daughter's finger bleed and when we came home they took 15 dollars for a tip instead of 10 dollars as I instructed. My daughter's nails were completely uneven cut much shorter than asked and the next day the rhinestones on my wifes nails were falling off. On this visit it costed 118.00 that does include the 5 dollars extra Liam decided to put on his own account. Im over this time to watch some YouTube and start practicing because I am not trusting any nail shops in this area. read more

Great service and nails. I was a walk in and was pleasantly taken to the chair to have a pedi and fill. Very detailed work didn't feel rushed. My nails and pedi was the best of both I've ever had. I absolutely love it here! My family and I have been going here since they opened in about 2006 and I have never had a bad experience. They carry all of the higher nail polish brands such as OPI, Essie and on a couple of occasions I have even seen Sephora. I usually get a gel manicure and a deluxe pedicure, which both last me about a month and a half with no chipping. The owner, Van, has another shop in Yucaipa that has been there for as long as I can remember and most recently opened up another location next to the new Stater Brothers in Mentone. There was a brief period of time that I left here to go to Botanic Nails down the street and that is a time a truly regret ( see my review on them) Pretty nails is always trying new styles, techniques and is always changing the way the salon looks. Came in to get a gel manicure. I had a heart drawn on two fingers and stripes on two fingers. Charged me $2 per design so it came out to an extra $8. That's terribly overpriced and most nail shops would only charge $5 total for designs on all nails. Overall she did a good job read more

Went in for the first time to get a gel fill. Called about fifteen minutes ahead and they sat me right away. She shaped my nails well and everything but the brand of nail polish they use is AWFUL. The next day my gel was peeling and chipping and just looked terrible. After a couple days I called them and they said to come in for them to fix it and she did, it was fine but the next day - CHIPPING AGAIN. Why pay extra for gel if the nail polish is gonna chip and peel off? Never coming back here for sure. Save your time and money and go to Botanic, they're not fantastic but at least your nail polish won't chip next day! read more

I recently moved and was searching for salon to get a pedicure that had somewhat better reviews. Was dissapointed when I walked in. Ok that it's a small place but really overcrowds the spa chairs inside and the place needs a deep clean. All but one tech were lounging in most of the chairs. I get that it may not be rush hour but perhaps if the place were cleaner it wouldn't give a poor 1st impression. Since I left the 1st place I stopped due to poor reviews and this one listed some really good reviews I figured I try it anyway. I don't know if they reuse the plastic liners for the foot spas cuz mine had all kinds of floaties in it that i just stared at. My tech (a gentleman) asked me if i was ok and I said no and pointed them out. He kindly changed it. I didn't want any color and asked him to cut my toenails but not the one big toe as it had some damage from a recent break. I guess he thought I meant to not do anything with it cuz he didn't even cut the cuticle. He didn't clean under my nails and did a poor job cutting cutilces on all the rest. First time here, it's down the street from my house and i wanted to try it out. I needed a fill pretty badly ( like 3 weeks grown out ewwwww) and i came in pretty late on a sunday night they closed in a half hour but people kept walking in and they wouldn't turn anyone away. So i decided to wait, the wait was a while but i didn't have anything to do and i wanted my nails done. So finally it was my turn and i believe the man that helped me his name was Johnny ( i think!) and he was great! Super nice and helpful, he suggested to get a new set and it was very reasonably priced! so i said sure why not. And turns out to be the best set I've ever gotten! Pros: Great job on my fill and pedicure! I had to clarify that I did not like thick acrylics but he fixed quickly after I mentioned it and it looked amazing. Very nice attention to detail on my pedicure and fill. Both employees were very polite and receptive. Also, my eyebrow wax was quick and well-done. Overall, quality of work and customer service was great. Cons: I made an appointment for all 3 services I needed (fill, pedicure and wax). With the appointment, it took exactly 2 hours and 40 minutes! An insane amount of time compared to what I'm used to. Each service was done separately. Obviously the wax is always separate and that was quick so no issue there. But I would have thought they'd be able to do the pedicure and fill at the same time. I know the place is small but I've never had an issue getting them done together. Also, the place was run down and felt dirty. The chairs were very worn and there were dirty and missing tile in the floor. Overall, good quality care but I can't get over the wait time and aesthetics. Not planning to return. read more
