I have been visiting optometrists for nearly 50 years, and this is the best you'll find. I got helpful reminders about my appointment. When l arrived was greeted promptly and brought in to bright, clean, friendly office. I was seen shortly. There was not a mound of paperwork. The Dr Rousello took his time explaining my particular vision issues, in a way nobody has. He gave me options l had previously been told were not available to me. The staff who helped me in choosing a frame made it easy for me. They didn't say it's a matter of preference. When l asked for an opinion, l got one. The person helping me showed me a pair l hadn't considered after she saw what my tastes were and l loved them. All safety measures were in effect to prevent spread of the virus from beginning to end. Overall, professional, knowledgeable, kind and efficient. Thank you! read more

I had been going to Preston Optometry for years then I moved a bit further away to Apex. Decided to go with a Clarity Vision because it was right around the corner. The Dr they have was rude and mean, contacts he prescribed were not accurate or comfortable. In the meantime he was very clear that I was given an inaccurate prescription by Preston Optometry. I ended up throwing half of the contacts away! What was I thinking. I always loved the mild manner and politeness of the Dr at Preston. The contacts he prescribed for me were always spot on and the staff is always great. From this point on I will drive a few extra minutes when I need my eyes checked. It's nice to have contacts I can were and see with again. read more

I think in all my years this is my 2nd or 3rd time I write a YELP! review. Why? Because great customer service from the start to finish is THAT rare. From the friendly front staff that greets you upon arrival to the care of Dr. Ken and back out the door is a friendly and wonderful experience. When you use a lot of services, Doctors or others you just have a knack for telling if they care about you/your experience, enjoy helping others and are knowledgeable. Preston Optometry checked all the boxes and will remain my eye care place for me and all my family. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Ken for always making it a positive experience! read more

I've used Dr. Ken Rousselo for many years. I've always been pleased with his careful work, and he's a very nice guy. I'm a cheapskate, so I get my glasses from Zenni. Some optometrists will try very hard to dissuade you from doing that, but not Ken. He even measured my pupilary distance for me (the distance between the centers of my eyes), which is needed when ordering glasses online. He even wrote me prescriptions for several pairs of special-purpose glasses: night driving, reading, and desktop computer (2.5' from the screen), so that I could order them all from Zenni. read more

Excellent Service and perfect glasses In 1996 I moved to Cary and another optician referred me to Dr Rousselo for contacts. I have always had excellent service at Preston Optometry. Dr Rousselo and all of his staff are very professional, kind, efficient and interested in helping me get exactly the type of frames and lens that I wanted. In the past 9 years, I have been driving 21/2 to 3 hours back to Cary for my eye exams and glasses because I have always been satisfied with my frames and progressive lenses. Thankful to have found this practice many years ago. read more

Dr. Rousselo and his staff are great! Our family always enjoys going to see them. They are very kind and are concerned with your needs while making you feel at home. We are always able to reach them to ask questions or to get in. It's important to them you can tell that they work with your schedule. With kids in high school and college now it's important to have extended hours and they have a few days where they provide that each week. We have been going to Dr. Rousselo for almost 10 years and we would highly recommend his practice! read more

I am a new patient to this practice, and I am more than pleased with the care I received from Dr. Rousselo and the staff. From the moment I arrived until I left, each staff member was so kind and courteous. I did not feel at all rushed in choosing my new frames. The optician was so very helpful in guiding me to frames that suited the size and shape of my face. Their frames selection is incredible. I had to stop looking - so many choices! I can't wait to get my new glasses! If you are looking for a new eye doctor, give them a try. read more

Dr. Rousselo is great. He was able to diagnose a rare eye condition that I have and refer me to a specialist to get it treated with minor surgery. I had been to several other optometrists and even ophthalmologists that just brushed off my concerns with my vision without actually listening to my description of what was going on. I was worried there was no solution to my problems. Now I have been able to see crystal clear for years since thanks to Dr. Rousselo attention to details. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. read more

Great service. The girl that helped me pick out frames was exceptional. Nothing of this "looks great" whatever frame I tried on as is common in other places. She told me when the frame did not fit well (nose, ears, width) and I greatly appreciated it. With her support, I felt comfortable to get frames substantially different from my old ones. I'm sure I will be very happy with them. Prices are good; seemed to be a little below the chain stores. Doctor was very nice and the examination was thorough. read more

I had my first visit this past week. Been to Eye Care Center for a persistent issue. After a year, no improvement. A friend recommended Dr. Russelo and I gave them a shot. The staff was great, the place was clean, but the best was Dr. Kenneth Russelo. He is personable and knowledgeable. He diagnosed my problem and offered clear solutions and instructions. I'm already feeling better. I've already recommended him to one friend and will do so again. I will never go anywhere else. read more

This was the first visit for my wife and I since we recently relocated to NC. Considering everything going on right now with COVID-19, they did an excellent job. The staff met us outside, took our temps and asked us the related questions. All the staff and Dr. Rousselo we're really great. Everyone wore masks and the equipment was wiped down after each use. They had an excellent selection of frames to choose from. It was a wonderful experience. I'm glad we chose this Dr. read more

My whole family is very satisfied with Dr. Rousselo's service and staff assistance. They will take care of us immediately during our appointment and even if we arrive earlier to our appt time. They are very knowledgeable and will explain everything with details. The staff is very courteous and more than willing to help us find good frames and explain how much every selection of lens options will cost with our insurance. They really help us feel we can trust them 100%. read more

This place is great. Dr. Rousselo does a great job of answering questions and taking his time with you. The front desk staff is really helpful and even informed me that I could use my insurance to get prescription glasses. I've been going to this place for a while, but other people need to know that this is the best eye care place in RTP (I'm an expert about this area). The extended hours really help those who are slaving away at a 9 to 5. Keep up the good work. read more

I moved here from Chicago in 1994 and I think that this was one of the first places I found where the people were so fabulous, that I felt right at home. The greatest thing is that many of the same people have remained with Dr. Rousselo for years, and they are still going out of their way to help people out. There is no better place, no better folks. This is, "As Good As It Gets". So, to Doctor R. and All of his Staff, THANKS for Years of Fantastic Service! read more

I have been going to Dr Rousselo for many years. It has been great to see his practice grow and expand. The staff that has joined him, give incredibly great service. Dr Rousselo has helped me with several specialty eye prescriptions and his staff excels at putting the customer first and communicating well with eyeglass orders. I have had several lense and frame warranties processed over the years and could not be happier with their expertise and service! read more

My first visit to Preston Optometry exceeded any expectations. The entire staff greeted me warmly and every single one was sincere in their desire to assist in any and all of my needs. I have not worn contacts for many years, prior to progressive lens. My interest in bifocal contacts led to MANY questions for Dr Rousselo. He was patient, kind, informative, and willing to experiment to help me achieve my goal of contacts again. EXCELLENT service. read more

I'm pretty sure there are several fake reviews here. I tried this location based on the shiny reviews. However, the experience I got is pretty bad. Dr. Ken Rousselo is very careless and impatient. He spent literally less than five minutes on me. Not really want to listen to my question and concerns. I think he just want to get patients done as many as possible. Will never return! Good luck with your fake five star rating. read more

I had an amazing experience with Preston Optometry. They had an appointment available promptly, and the team there was absolutely wonderful. I am delighted to tell everyone about my great experience with Dr. Ken Rousselo getting the exam done and solid feedback with all my concerns, and with Sarah getting everything else done (contacts & glasses selection!) It's great that they even help you work on getting contacts in! read more

Terrible Doctor! He appears to not want to be bothered. Arrogant, and rushed. Not very good with children. He speaks to you in a know it all manner and makes no effort to answers questions in a polite and professional manner. He acts as if he is annoyed at times. I would not recommend him at all and will never go back. I have to say the staff was nice and professional but the doctor left much to be desired. read more
