I brought my two elderly and disabled clients here for their dinner out. I am a care aide and I love to help my clients to a meal out, I enjoy their company. Nonetheless, this has been a place we've ordered for takeout and I finally decided to bring the ladies in for their meal. This is their favorite kind of cuisine. My clients have dietary needs, and thus we often must make requests for their meals. Presto Pasta was able to help out with our needs. I will say the restaurant is not the most wheelchair friendly especially when busy. Everyone was patient, kind and respectful to my party. Our meals came out hot and fresh. Personally speaking: their BBQ chicken pizza is a great size and a great price. My clients order the pesto pasta and lasagna; I think the lasagna looks better than the other pastas! We were craving pasta, so we went to Presto Pasta. I ordered the Sampler combo with Caesar salad, a kids pepperoni pizza, and Alfredo pasta. A very nice gentleman took our order--polite and helpful. My salad was delicious, and the lasagna was great, and my son really enjoyed his pizza. However, the Alfredo pasta lacked flavor. I've been coming to Presto pasta since I was probably a teenager. Always loved going there every time we went up to Camarillo or Ventura area. Recently decided to stop when we were in the area and it was just as i remembered it (but actually nicer inside). Last Thursday night,1/22/26, my Mother-in-law and myself went for a meal. I also ordered two orders to go. A girl named Alondra took our order. She read it over twice correctly. When I went to leave and take the take out, one of the orders of chicken piccata was not there. She had charged me correctly ($6.00) for the combination, but forgot the chicken piccata. The young manager named Alejandro came to see what the problem was. I showed him the receipt. He took the receipt out of my hand while I was explaining the situation. I took it out of his hand and continued trying to explain. He said that the order was taken correctly and I would have to pay for the combination (chicken piccata) This young man asked me my name and told me he was going to "86" me from the restaurant. I guess he needs more experience to listen to the customer. The last two times I was there, I had great experience even though the order was given incorrectly from what was read back, at the time of payment. read more

This place is great if you're looking for some fast food pasta.... Which is exactly what I was craving! Wait wasn't long at all- got the spaghetti and Alfredo combo- came with a drink and soup or salad and a slice of garlic bread for $14! I got the salad- Ceaser- it was actually super good... I think because they lathered it with sauce lol so if you don't like that definitely request for the sauce on the side. *garlic bread reminded me of sliced bread but hey! i liked it* My husband got the soup- he said he thought it tasted "off" and refused to eat it but he can be weird about soup (his favorite is olive garden minestrone lol and said it wasn't like that at all) The Alfredo sauce was amazing and noodles were great... exactly what I was looking for! But I would not recommend the chicken with it- kind of reminded me of either boiled chicken or microwaved chicken... my dog wouldn't eat it either lol My husband said the spaghetti was okay- but thought the meatball tasted "off" - I didn't try it but he eats meatballs from subway so he's def not picky about that. My favorite is the fettuccine alfredo with mushrooms They have combos that come with pasta, salad or soup and a drink for about $14 or just the pasta alone for about $10. They also have kids meals- Pizza or pasta with a drink for about $8. Service is good. The only complaint is they have many signs such as. We don't tolerate soda in water cups, Do not tables together parties of 4 of more must check in, don't remove the cheese from front. But I really like Presto Pasta because of how customizable it is and I get an opportunity to try different noodles/sauces/toppings I normally don't purchase from the supermarket. And like the name implies: it's simple, inexpensive, and fast. The restaurant is located in a small plaza along De La Vina, right next door to El Sitio. Parking is very easy, I never have trouble finding an open spot out front. There's plenty of tables inside, and it's usually not crowded. Some of the booths have privacy curtains, which I find amusing. To order, simply walk up to the counter with the large menu posted on the wall. They serve different kinds of pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and other popular Italian dishes, as well as the build-your-own-pasta. If it's a gluten free ingredient, they indicate it. 1. Noodles - Spaghetti, Fettuccine, Angel Hair, Penne, Tortellini, Fusilli, or Zucchini 2. Sauces - Alfredo, Pesto, Carbonara,  Butter/Parmesan, and other tomato-based ones 3. Add-Ins - Various proteins and vegetables. You can get an extra serving of noodles. Around $9 for a plate of pasta, which is superb. The pasta was creamy, garlicky, and had nice spice to it. The chicken pieces were hard and dry but there were enough sauce to eat with the chicken... but still was dry. The fries artichoke are bite sized and come with a marinara or ranch. The garlic bread that comes with the pasta is a piece of toast but I wish it had more garlic flavor. read more

Food is ok. Service no bueno. Spanish lady won't even smile. Hope she's not the manager. Staff always seems tense.

Food was cold, the manager (Jo-Jo) had an arrogant attitude about our cold food. I've been to this restaurant 50 times and it's always good and the food is very hot..which I like; but today the spaghetti was cold..I asked the manager (JOJO) to make a new plate..she argued with me and said I was wrong and there's is steam coming off the plate..I tried to communicate that there is no steam and the spaghetti is cold...she then offered to microwave the dish..I preferred the dish to not be microwaved ..but she microwaved it anyway and it was still cold because ..it's necessary to turn food once in between cycles of microwaving. So she gives a gross microwaved dish of cold pasta .while arguing it's steaming ..but it's still cold. This person (JOJO) is the type of employee that could potentially destroy this great restaurant for 2 reasons: 1. Attitude 2. Correcting customers when she's wrong 3. Not correcting complaints I have this is a training opportunity LASTLY There was a barking German Shepard in the restaurant eating off plates and barking..absolutely how one bad manager with limited training and uncommon sense can destroy a restaurant, Good luck read more
