I brought in my 30-year-old wedding dress to have the zipper altered for my daughter's wedding. This was a 'vintage' (ha ha, my daughter's word) Jessica McClintock gown and very sentimental. As someone who sews myself, I knew this was a repair beyond my comfort level. I carefully marked the adjustment with pins to show exactly where the alteration was needed. They did an amazing job--no one would ever know the zipper had been altered. The work was seamless and expertly done. Anyone who thinks the service is overpriced may not fully appreciate the skill and craftsmanship that quality tailoring requires. I found the cost to be more than fair for such exceptional work and would not hesitate to recommend them. read more

I am a Bridesmaid in a wedding coming up at the end of this month and I needed to let out the bust part of my dress. The service was executed very well and it took less time than they originally thought so it was completed a day early & and now I will look fabulous and can actually breathe in my dress!! Thank you so much!! read more

Extremely overpriced. I got my dressed hemmed & the shoulders take in a little & it was $92! This was more than I paid for the dress. I went there before & it was the same, overpriced to get a jumpsuit hemmed. Only reason I went back is because I could only drive that far after having surgery. Had a dressed hemmed by another place before & it was only $25. I expected double of this but not $92. Go somewhere else & save $. I will never be back. read more

I have relied for years and years on Prestige Tailors for making refinements to ill-fitting off-the-rack clothing that I have purchased. Their work is quality that has held up to time and wear. I highly recommend them. read more

I got my wedding dress alterations done here, and the service was awesome front beginning to end! Juan is a very knowledgeable, nice, and patient tailor, and made sure that my dress fit me well and to a tee! Prices are reasonable for more complex alterations like wedding dresses also. I highly recommend going to Prestige Tailors! read more

Absolutely love the work they do here. We brought my husbands suit pants to get hemmed and they were a decent price, they are super busy so I recommend coming not on the weekends. You do not need an appointment. They took less than a week to get in. I highly recommend bringing them in on a hanger and with a plastic material over them, they did not give us plastic to wrap it when we picked them up... I almost took a star off for that... but they are so good and so friendly and helpful I didn't! You won't regret taking your things here read more

I can't even begin to tell you how pleased I am with this seamstress. They went above and beyond to make my wedding dress perfect! I highly recommend them! read more

Fortunately Mario was able to step in and fix the ridiculous mistakes of first tailor we took my daughter's wedding dress and my MOB dress. He couldn't believe some of the things they had done but he stepped right in and fixed everything read more

It's hard to find clothes that fit off-the-rack for this short legged Yelper. That's why I LOVE having a good tailor. Prestige is not just a good tailor, y'all. They are a GREAT tailor. Every time I've taken a pair of jeans to be hemmed or a dress shirt to have the sleeves shorten, they not only do a dynamite job making it look like the items were never altered and were just made that way, but they also do it FAST! Several times I've been quoted a longer time frame but had the phone call that the items were ready earlier. If you need a professional, efficient tailor, Prestige is the place to go. read more

Got my slacks tailored twice and both were fast and professional, nice people and my slacks came out exactly how I wanted. And for me the price I paid were good read more

My experience was incredible. I was recommended to them and I brought a few dresses that needed altering; however I was very particular with what I wanted. Needed alterations on my bridesmaid dress for a friends wedding. Googled around to find a place near my work place and decided on prestige since they seemed reputable and has good reviews. So glad I did! Not only is their work quality but their prices are GREAT. Other bridemaids who had to get their dresses altered paid outrageous prices at other places. Prestige's turnaround time was also quick. Not to mention, the guy I worked with, I think his name is juan was so nice and pleasant to work with. Highly recommend! read more

I have been getting my clothes altered here for years and cannot say enough good things about it. I won't go anywhere else. Mario is so talented and I trust him with all my alteration needs- my clothes are always ready within a week, sometimes earlier and the prices are reasonable. read more

My bridal boutique sent me to Prestige and I am SO GRATEFUL! I needed my dress hemmed and the bustle added and only had a little over 2 weeks until I had to pick up my dress and Prestige was able to get it done. I had 5 layers to my dress that all had to be hemmed and bustled and it was done PERFECTLY! The length of the dress was perfect so the toe of my cowboy boots showed and my bustle held the whole night even with dancing and getting stepped on. I highly recommend Prestige! read more

I drive almost 30 miles out of my way to get my alterations done here. Mind you, I live in the smack dab middle of Houston, with a plethora of businesses--including tailors--to choose from. They just know what they're doing, are super affordable and have a quick turn-around! They can even make a cathedral-length veil within one week for less than $200. The head seamstress has been doing this for longer than I've been living, and the entire staff is very friendly and always greets me with a smile. You definitely get a lot of value for the cost! read more

Also had my wedding dress altered here a few years after the leather jacket I reviewed below. Did a great job and with very short notice. Not cheap but it was hundreds of dollars cheaper than a nearby establishment I had a quote from. Was very happy with the finished product and service! Had the sleeves on my leather jacket shortened. Did a great job. I was worried as the fabric was very thick and there were large zippers that needed to be adjusted too. They also attached a missing button that I didn't mention and was planning on reattaching myself. Great service. read more

I've used this business twice and was not disappointed either time. They mended a rip in a pair of suit pants on my first trip and they removed the embroidery from a lab coat my daughter was given on the second visit. I would easily use them again. read more

My dress came from Kleinfeld's and I must say Prestige did what they promised...you must give them a chance! read more

They are clean, friendly and fast. Dropped my dress off 3 days before an event. I needed pockets added to my dress. Pockets came out amazing, not too visible to see and they were sturdy. My only complaint is i was told it was $22, then next day I was told $44, because of the side zipper. I understand price changes, just bummed I paid more for pockets than my dress lol. I would recommend them, they did a great job altering my dress and that's what matters. read more

They did an amazing job with my wedding dress alterations!!! They had my dress altered within 2-3 weeks and it was perfect the first time. Amazing communication and great price for the services being offered. He even found a stain on the second layer of my dress and took care of it for me so I wouldn't have to stress about extra cleanings. Very thankful I went to Prestige Tailors and I would recommend them time and time again. read more

Picked up a pair of pants today I had dropped off to be hummed. Service was great and I feel like I wasn't over charged. Sometimes when getting clothes done the quality of work is way up in the air, and who the heck knows how my stuff will fit. Well the pants fit great. Cost me about 12 for the one pair. Dropped them off on Monday were ready Thursday afternoon. Really appreciate the speedy work. Will for sure be going back with my work clothes. read more

I came in with a broken zipper, on a vest, that I needed fixed ASAP, and they took care of me, on the spot and did a great job !

Juan is my tailor angel. I have had my old prom dress tailored here (long slim and very lacy/thick material) as well as other formal dresses/casual dresses, tops, and pants taken in and hemmed. They are professional, they've never messed my clothes up, they know my name every time I come in, and the service is fast with EXCELLENT quality. They usually tell you about 4-5 days until your item(s) are ready but they always call me back before that time to let me know my clothes are ready. I am so thankful that I now live down the road instead of having to drive from inside the loop. I just had a pair of really nice high waisted white classy pants tailored and brought them in on Tuesday and they called me on Friday morning to let me know it was ready. $14.00 for the pants to be hemmed. When I brought in 4 dresses, one of them being my fancy prom dress, it was approx $140.00. So depending on the amount work and the material of your clothes is the price you get. I would never say they are cheap, but the cost is worth the perfect results every time. Prestige Tailors for life!!! Thank you Juan!!!!! (See two photos attached of dresses altered by prestige that were incredibly large that fit immaculately now!) read more

If I could have given no stars I would have. I spent $120 for alterations, and the dress was a mess. Hem was uneven, after the second attempt. Having someone else fix, as I have no confidence in this place. Seamstress lied about remaking straps, and then when straps were remade, they weren't the same width. They didn't seem to want my business or care about the quality of their product. Would not recommend!!! read more
