I went here looking for a different tailor. More skilled than the one I've gone to in the past. The prices were extremely high BUT, I decided to do business. Be aware, this a cash only business and she requires 1/2 up front. Just so happens, I had cash that day. That's not the bad part. When it came time to pick up my clothing, I could not get in touch with her. I drive to the business on 2 different occasions. The doors were locked, no lights. Over the next 3 days, I called, no answer. I texted, no response. I was headed out of town for a week and would be attending several events. She had my outfits and refused to communicate. I started searching online for more outfits. I decided to call once more and she answered. No apologies, no explanation. Did a great job shortening some pants for my wife. Went that morning and had them ready that afternoon at a very reasonable price.

They lost my dress which I paid good money for and only wore once before coming to this place to get it altered. I was going to wear it to the Renaissance festival too. I dont think they would have called me to let me know they lost my dress had I not checked up on it. Not sure how they lose my elegant ball gown dress bc it is hard to misplace but they did. Went in to get my wedding dress altered. My dress had a lot of beautiful beads on it. The owner had over three weeks to complete my alterations. She wasn't done when I was suppose to pick up my dress after she called to let me know she wasn't done, I gave her an extra day so she wouldn't rush on my dress! I tried on my wedding dress next day and the beads where falling off just to the touch! When I told her that she changed the subject to how she put little hooks on the back of my dress to "hold it up" , which was just a cope out from her not having to alter it like she should have. I told her I never asked her to put hooks on! She would not go down on the price for all the beads that fell off! I don't understand her! If you can not do the job properly and have to rush and do a mediocre job on someone's wedding dress then don't take the job! Update - on my wedding day, my bustle broke within the first hour of using it. I was able to use it for my first dance and that was it! My dress got filthy and dragged everywhere. I was sad, especially being that the bustle was an additional charge that I barely got to use. And the alteration budget was already increased. I would recommend testing the bustle for a few hours on a random day prior to your wedding so you can bring it back if there are any issues. read more

What was done: taking in, hemming, pockets My aunt suggested Anh when I was looking for someone who could alter my bridesmaid dress (it was a nice satin strapless David's Bridal dress with lining). When I walked in, it looked empty, but she was just working in the back. The fitting was quick and easy, but when I came back to pick it up, it was too small! I think the problem was that I hadn't hooked the back of the dress when I was fitted the first time. She let out the dress (at no extra cost), and when I came back, it fit perfectly. It was maybe $80~ for taking in and hemming and an extra $15 for her to recreate the pockets. My mom had a few of her things altered, and she hasn't complained. I also see plenty of other customers coming and going, so she seems to be reliable judging by her pretty consistent flow of customers. I'm on the fence about the stars, because I'm not sure whose fault it is that the dress didn't fit after the first fitting (my weight didn't change? I don't think?). Was recommended this place by some of my future mother-in-law's friends. I needed my wedding dress hemmed and lace straps adjusted so that the bust fit better. I brought it in on a Friday and asked to have it ready by the next Wednesday and she had it done right on time! My dress also fits fantastically now! I have no idea what alterations typically cost but it was under $100 which seemed fair for the amount of work and quick return. I would give Anh 2.5 stars because she took me through a lot of stress, but in the end I did get my wedding dress like I wanted it. My biggest complaint is that she didn't follow the instructions I gave her. I simply asked her to add some tulle fabric to the V-neckline of my dress to conceal the bust a bit more. When I came to get the dress, she had changed the neckline from a V-neck to a square neck using lace that she cut from another part of the dress. It made the dress look old and I just didn't ask for that. When I asked her why did she do that she said, she thought her idea was better and figured I would like it more than what I requested. My dress cost $3,000 and so close to my wedding date, this was enough to send a bride in shock!! I am not sure why she did not call me to discuss this with me. The shoulders were also off balance and those had to be fixed, but that was minor to me compared with her redesigning the neckline of the dress without my knowledge. The alterations cost a lot more than I expected. I think I paid $450. And I do believe I was overcharged. In the end, she did get the dress done right, but I think I went through necessary stress with her. read more

I went to Anh based on Yelp reviews as I was in need of alterations for my wedding dress. Anh was very professional, timely, and pleasant to work with. My wedding dress was beaded with lace, and needed to be let out on the sides and in the hips about 2 inches. The alterations required her to remove the lace in order to make the necessary adjustments. When I went today to pick it up I was in awe as the dress fit perfectly and was in it's original condition. You could not tell by looking at it, that any of the lace had been removed and replaced. I had to ask her how she did it, because the work was awesome! I've taken a couple of things here for alterations. The first two were bridesmaids dresses where the store completely messed up the sizes and wouldn't do anything about it. Mine was about 3 sizes too big and my daughters was 2 sizes too small. I'm not sure how she did it, but after Ahn was done, both fit like a glove. Recently my son got a pair of pants and the store we got them from altered them, but way too short and they couldn't taper them. So we took them to Ahn and she did an impeccable job and they fit perfect when she was done.
