They will help you find a dress in the color you want and also help you when trying them on. They take the dresses off the hangers and rehang when you are done. This sounds strange but these dresses are long, heavy and very time consuming when doing this yourself. This also helps keep the dress in nice shape. EXTREME CAUTION! This was an emergency, never would I visit such a place. I expected the customer service to be subpar. Did not fail. But I wasn't expecting cockroaches crawling amongst the gowns? I immediately informed the older employee. She showed some interest. But as I informed the owners, they didn't seemed surprised at all. If there is one visible roach there is a colony. Visited for the first time while searching for Prom dresses. The staff is very nice and helpful just as the other reviewers mentioned. We found several dresses that we liked. They were willing to hold the dress for an hour. I love the fact that they allow the customers to take pictures of the dresses. That really helps when trying to remember which one looks best. The customers arent allowed to go in the dressing room area, but the employees are there to assist with zippers, etc.. The store has made a nice seating section right next to the dressing room so the money bags :"moms" can sit and watch. They have a nice sizable selection. I try to give other retail/department stores a chance to find formal wear, but Harwin is usually the spot. I was not happy with the service at a nearby formal store, so I was walking around the plaza and found FN Formals. I wish I remembered her name, but the sales associate who helped me was wonderful from the moment she greeted me. She asked me all the right questions, pointed me in the right direction, was not pushy, and was super helpful. She told me what dresses she had in which size, what she could/could not order, she showed me pictures in the catalog, and encouraged me to try on as many dresses as I needed. The ladies in the dressing room area were fast and helpful with trying multiple dresses. The dressing rooms are spacious as is the whole area. The whole store is clean and doesn't feel cramped like other stores that have so many dresses it's hard to walk through and it's overwhelming. I ordered the dress and it came in on time! I was allowed to pay a deposit instead of the whole thing. The owner has hired amazing women who speak English and Spanish. read more

BAPTISM DRESS REVIEW My 13 month old was getting baptized and we decided to make this our first stop, luckily it was the only one we needed to make. They had a great selection from white to off white, long to short, cap vs no caps, simple to extravagant. I was looking for a simply cotton gown but the main fabric choice was a stiff acrylic feeling dress. Prices range from $50 to just below $200 with a few clearance dresses for $30. We bought the first one we tried because I liked the style and it fit her great (size 2)! I highly recommend a cap if your religious leader puts oil on the baby's head just in case little one decides to cuddle up on mommy's nice dress with her oily head. read more

My niece was running out of time finding a prom dress. We went to a couple of stores in Harwin area. Couldn't find anything only bridal dresses. A store owner told us about this place that was not too far. I think we first went into the wrong place there a two stores that have doors right next to each other. The first place, the girl helping wouldn't leave our side but not in a helpful way. The place was to cramped and not enough room to move around. We saw a dress we liked and she gave us a huge discount but the price was still high. The shop girl first said we could order it but then came back and said it was sold out. We also weren't allowed to take pictures. I don't know why, we had seen so many dresses it gets confusing with slit, no slit, backless, halter, short and long dresses. We felt rushed and didn't see a lot of variety of prom dresses. FN Formals We decided to pass and my nieces size was sold out. We literally went next door and the first thing we noticed is all the dresses they have hanging on the wall with a number. You see a dress you like, get the number, locate on the numbered racks and find your size. It's all self serve. If you don't find your size they will help you find it. We were allowed to try on as many as we wanted. The girls working there were so helpful and not pushy. We didn't feel rushed and were allowed to take pictures. We actually had fun seeing everyone come out in their dresses. It was a good experience. They have two mirrors in the fitting room and in front of store. My niece found what she was looking for and the price was perfect $130. I don't remember what the other dresses were going for we tried on. We went during the week on Monday and it wasn't that busy. I'm sure it gets crazy on the weekends. I think they close at 6:30pm but call to confirm but we got there around 4 or 4:30. They had wedding dresses there too that are beautiful. For a young bride on a budget. Some tips. Bring a pair of heels to get an idea of what the dress will look with heels. If you plan on wearing certain under garments or stockings bring or come with it on. Some of the dresses have lots of sequins and can snag and get caught on things. Also some dresses have spaghetti straps, halter or strapless. You want to have the right bra on to see how it will look with the dress. All sales are final. Try to go during the week if you can to be in and out of the fitting room. I think they have 6 or 8 fitting rooms but with so many dresses to try on I can see how you could have to wait for a fitting room. During the weekend they could do things differently to try on dresses and get ppl in and out of the fitting room. Again I was there on a Monday around 4pm. My niece is 18 and this dress is for her high school prom. If you don't see the dresses on the wall with a number to locate yourself on the racks, you are at the wrong store. read more

My best friend and I had been wedding dress shopping all day. This was our last place and we were both so happy we found this place! She found a beautiful dress at a very affordable price. We all know wedding dresses are over price but here she got her money's worth! The dress was a beautiful ball gown one of many she tried on! The young ladies there were so nice! They felt like friend shopping with you! They encourage her to try different veils and brought her petticoats! Even when they were closing they were so patient and helpful! It was a great experience! The ladies at FN were great; this shop had a runway & chairs to see all the different dresses being tried on. Some stores wanted to charge you for trying on formal dress or you were limited to how many dresses you could try on the weekends. read more

Don't recommend. Not helpful staff. Can only try on dresses you bring in Dressing room. They don't allow family to bring in different dresses to switch out afterwards. you have to Leave dressing room & go get back in line. Therefore you have to get dressed and then undressed again to Try on more dresses! Customer service please! read more

Staff was very accommodating. Ran in to store it closings for a formal dress for my daughter's banquet that I found out about at the last minute. Staff allowed her time to pick a ew dresses and try them on with no rush. Love the dress that she found it is perfect. Also the price was affordable. I will be back for homecoming this upcoming fall. They have a huge selection and they won't break the bank. My daughter found her QUINCEANERA dress within the first 20 minutes we were there. I think it cost about $300. SCORE!! We are planning on going back to get dresses for the girls in her court. They have so many different styles and they also have a kids section. I have to really recommend FN Formals for their selection, affordability, and customer service. My wife and her friends bought bridesmaid dresses at FN Formals. They were very nice dresses at a great price. We have never experienced better customer service and accessibility from any other place. When there was an issue with two of the dresses, David (the owner) went above and beyond. He helped find the dresses and had them overnighted from a different location/ state. And when the delivery did not arrive on time (UPS issue), David refunded the shipping costs with no problem. David made himself accessible even during off hours.
