I am a bride to be that was not so interested in wedding dress shopping. The big box stores did not interest me in the slightest. ( David's Bridal) I have my own style and thought it would be hard to match anywhere I went shopping. I not only found my dress but had an amazing experience with Anna. I did not buy what I thought I wanted, I was shown many options. They have an entire collection of great designers. Anna helped me find the dress that made me the showcase. I went in for my final fitting and my goodness it's everything. I went with one of their in house collections. Either way the cost was not absorbent. I tried on 10 gowns and none of them exceeded $3,500. ( That being the peak of my gowns) The most expensive gown was a very high end designer gown that did not suite me. I ended up at Misora kind of on a whim. I had made an appt a week prior to try on very specific dresses by Calla Blanche at another bridal store. That appointment went TERRIBLE, to the point that O walked out and started crying. I looked on the Calla Blanche website and found the Misora also carried their line so I gave Misora a call, explained my dilemma, and they were 1. Incredibly sweet, 2. Confirmed they had the dresses I was seeking in store, 3. Accommodated me with a walk-in appt an hour later (on a Saturday!!). I arrived at the store hopeful that it would be a productive and better experience...and it was! The consultant and manager were kind and not only had my dresses ready but also completely understood the assignment when I explained my wedding vision. Hand down the best customer service. I went with a few of my bridesmaid to look at dresses all day. Yes we were tired and excited to find the right dress. We walked in and the energy here is pOwerful. Everyone was so happy, enthusiastic and so welcoming. Gave me great suggestions on my body type, my budgets and etc. The one thing that stood out here the most was the way Victoria went above to accommodate my ankle injury. Recovering from an ankle injury she made my life the easiest the best she could literally the 20+ dress I tried on she put it over my head so I wouldn't have to stand up as much. By far the best. A very lovely wedding dress shop that also has hair & make up services from Blush and Co. I've gone shopping here for my sisters wedding dress back in 2012 and again in 2014 for myself. So I've been around this store a few trips and experienced their service a multiple of times. The boutique is small and quaint. A variety of beautiful wedding dress for the bride, bridesmaid, and other female participants. I love their attentive service and wonderful incentives that come from purchasing your dress from them. Both my sister and I got our wedding dresses from them and our bridesmaid dresses. Because we got our wedding dress there, they provide a discount on the bridesmaids dresses. They really do try to make it hassle free as much as they can throughout the process because as a bride, you have a lot to deal with. I like that they kept me up to date with the order when my dress would be in and a selection of seamstresses to pick from for alterations. Chi Mai is highly recommended as a seamstress. She is passionate on her work and very honest. The only mistake that was made was I requested zippers for my wedding dress but it came with the corset tie but it's okay. I also booked Blush and Co for my wedding day for the hair and make up. They also offer wedding dress preservation services. Jeannie and the team are very knowledgeable and give great insight on selecting a dress by asking questions I wouldn't have asked myself. In conclusion, I said yes to my dress at misora. Lovely experience! I came in on a Saturday after lunch without a reservation. All three of their dressing rooms were reserved. Fortunately, after a 30 minute wait, there was a no-show so I was welcomed in to try on dresses. Rio was amazing and very helpful. She listened to what I want in a dress as well as my mom's opinions. I tried on about 7 dresses and each dress she asked me what I liked and didn't like about it. Then at the end, she brought one in that she thought I would like based on my feedbacks to her so far. I ended up loving that one! She was very kind and thoughtful to let me try on my #1 and #2 favorite dresses on a couple times to decide. At the end of the session, I did not decide to buy right away and Rio was very understanding. She gave me a card with the dress number to come back anytime. This review is more 3.5 stars, but I rounded it up to 4 stars. Misora charges a $25 to make an appointment to try on their dresses that comes with champagne on your appointment day (I told them I don't drink) and shapewear even though I don't need it. My maid of honor and I picked out dresses to try on. In the end I only liked one of the dresses that I tried on and I told my consultant there was something missing where I am not 100% sure on it. At the end of 1.5 hours which was our appointment duration, it just really ended there without any guidance/advice except to come back next time since time is up and to make sure I ask my consultant for an appointment directly as to avoid another $25 charge. The time goes by really fast. I mean it was not a bad experience since the people are nice there, but after visiting another bridal shop the very next day where the consultant spent about 2.5 - 3 hours with me to get exactly what I wanted and needed, I saw the difference and went with the other bridal shop because of the time they took with me to realize my vision and style. read more

That's good to know 2 weeks before my wedding... See how bad customer service is? This psycho actually called me to argue about my yelp review. This was my experience, and I 100% stand by what I wrote. She called me stating that she didn't feel my review was totally accurate. Are you for real lady? This is my review on my personal experience here. Did you want me to delete it, and give you more stars?That made me more upset! What you got was an updated review, and a ONE star AGAIN! After two bad phone calls and a second fitting and being told repeatedly by the employees there was nothing they could do, I was through arguing and was resigned to solving the problem on my own. After all, having already complained three times why should I expect a fourth to be different? I visited Misora on my first day of wedding dress shopping. It was also the second place that I went to that same day. (My first was David's Bridal) My first impression of the store was that the atmosphere was nice and quiet and was much better than David's Bridal. I had an idea of what wedding dress I like based on Pinterest photos but I wasn't sure if it will flatter my body right. When I started looking for dresses, I mostly picked that one style I liked but I also had picked something different to try on. As I was entering the fitting room, I noticed they only had one so I figured that they only accept one appointment at a time. I thought that was a good thing so that they can provide you 100% attention. My consultant was Anna Lam and unfortunately, she gave me a very unforgettable experience in a bad way. She put too much pressure on me. After every dress I try on, she would ask me what elements of the dress I like and she would force me to pick which of the dresses I had tried on so far was my top 1. If a certain dress doesn't fit into a criteria I like, she wouldn't want me put it on. Mind you, it was my first time shopping and I was still in that stage where I was just trying to see what works and what doesn't work so for me, she shouldn't have limited me on anything. My maid of honor also took pictures of me whether I like a dress or not just for fun and for the memories, and I remembered her telling me "Why take a photo if you don't like it?" I thought that was rude. The only good thing happened was that I found one dress that I really love and couldn't stop thinking about. I wore a veil and they let me come out of the fitting room and walk outside in front of a bigger mirror in store. They knew I really love the dress so they asked for a picture of another dress I liked from the previous store I've been to. I showed her that photo and she immediately shut that down and told me that the dress I have on was way better. I didn't want to jump in and make a commitment right away so I told them that I needed more time to think about it. Then she informed me that the dress may be discontinued which disheartened me. Looking for a wedding dress can be a daunting task even if you have a particular dress in mind. After a visit to one of those large chains and being hit in the face with all of that manic energy, I turned around and thought, "How can anyone possibly choose a dress with all of that chaos going on?" My lovely hairstylist suggested Misora Bridal and after a few visits to their website I sent an email inquiring about a particular dress that caught my eye. Jeannie responded quickly saying they did not have that dress but it could be ordered. So I made an appointment, I wanted to see how the designer's sizes ran. Misora is located off of Bellaire in a medium sized shopping plaza with ample parking. The showroom is beautiful, blessedly peaceful and aesthetically pleasing. Jeannie greeted me warmly and while I browsed through the room she looked up the dress I was interested in so she could pull similar styles to try on. I tried on a few dresses and while one of them piqued my interest I decided to go with the dress that I initially fell in love with. Jeannie called the design house to see if the dress was in stock or if it would to be special ordered. Of course, the dress I picked was a special order and after a fast calculation Jeannie informed me that it would arrive 2 weeks before my wedding. Yikes, place the order quick! Working with Jeannie was a great experience. She is knowledgeable and will give you her honest opinion. She introduced me to Cindy who co-owns the place with her. They met about 6 years ago while working for MAC cosmetics. Together they created a gem of a bridal boutique and I wish them many years of success! read more

Dress shopping was becoming a nightmare. Thank goodness for Jeanie. She is awesome. She made me feel like a bride & helped me look out of my comfort zone. The dress that might be a yes is something I never imagined wearing. All of my other fittings, I was done in 30 min or less. I was surprise I was here for more than 1.5 hr. Every little girl dreams of the day she tries on her first wedding dress. Seeing yourself standing there in a gorgeous, flowing white gown surrounded by mirrors, under those lights, with your bridesmaids gushing all over you - suddenly, it all feels very, very real. For me, today was that day... and Misora Bridal Boutique has the very special honor of being a part of it. Thank you, Anna and staff! This being the first stop on my journey to find *THE* dress, I literally arrived with a Pinterest board of dress ideas, a tentative budget, and an extra pair of heels. Anna allowed me and my bridesmaids the freedom to peruse the floor, and as we picked out dresses, she quickly whisked them away to my dressing room to wait for me. The boutique has a small storefront, but it contains ~4 long aisles of dresses, dressing rooms, and of course, mirrors galore to get that perfect 360 degree look. Make sure to check out the aisles near the back - they contain discontinued gowns that you can buy "as is" at a discounted rate! With my dressing room packed to the brim with dresses, I was ready to start trying stuff on. The dressing room was spacious enough to hold my 4 bridesmaids, while Anna helped me dress and undress on the other side of the curtain. It was a tad awkward at first, but Anna was very sweet, made me feel comfortable by keeping the conversation going, and I eventually forgot I was pretty much half-naked most of the time. For the next 90 minutes, it was a cycle of dressing up - reveal - feedback - undressing - repeat. The staff recommends keeping 3 dresses max in your "Maybe" pile, and near the end of my session, I finally narrowed my "Maybe" pile down to 2 - one sitting comfortably in my budget of $1000-$1500; the other stretching it to $2050. Nonetheless, Anna emailed me the details of both dresses, which I will definitely hold on to as I continue on my dress shopping journey. Although I was bummed that I wasn't able to take advantage of their 15% discount (offered to brides who buy during their first visit), I really enjoyed my experience at Misora. Their selection is pretty vast (LOTS of Maggie Sottero and Essence of Australia dresses), their prices are reasonable, ranging from ~$900 to $3K, and their appointment hours are more flexible than other boutiques in Houston. I highly recommend Misora Bridal Boutique to every bride who wants to find THE DRESS! I shopped around in California and couldn't find THE DRESS. I was in town for a few weeks and decided that I will take my chances in Texas. My sister-in-law got her dress here 7 years ago (at their old location next to Kim Son) and many other friends of friends have found THE DRESS here so I decided to make an appointment to come in on a Saturday evening with my mom and sister-in-law. We were about 20 minutes late to the appointment due to the traffic on the beltway. Anna was the first consultant to assist me. She was very helpful and had a lot of patience. What I really liked was that she did not ask me what my budget was. I think that really narrows down the dresses that the consultant will pick out for you. She asked me what style, fabric, color, designer, etc. that I wanted and picked out approximately 8-9 beautiful wedding dresses. There were 2 dresses that I really liked. It was so hard to decide right then and there, plus I did not want to hold Anna up from going home so I didn't say YES right away. They close at 6 p.m. and we did not leave until 6:30. She did not rush me or pressured me into buying the dress that day. Jeannie, the owner/manager, was very prompt in answering my questions via email on Sunday and Monday (they are closed on Mondays). On Tuesday, I came back to Misora Bridal Boutique with my mom, sister-in-law, and best friends to say YES to the dress. Anna did not work that day, so Jeannie helped me. She is very honest and an expert at what she does. I am so excited and can not wait to pick up my dress in a few months!! I'd like to rave about my experience at Misora! My best friend and I both purchased our wedding dresses here around the same time. Compared to other shops, I appreciated Misora's smaller size, friendly staff, and chic yet still unintimidating/comfortable atmosphere. The environment, lighting, and setup you try on wedding dresses in truly can enhance or take away from your overall experience! Misora also has a variety of styles from simple and traditional to bold and embellished. I ended up visiting a few other stores after Misora, and another retailer in Houston offered me my dream dress that I originally found at Misora for a much lower price. However, I was not impressed with the service I received there, and when I came back to Misora, they happily price matched the other place, which saved me about $300! Kudos to this salon for serving its customers well. One negative is that I would not suggest using the tailor that Misora recommends- they are extremely overpriced, and you do not need to pay as much for simple alterations as you did for the dress itself! I got married back in 2014, and I still felt like I needed to write this review. Dress shopping was easy. My consultant was nice and let me try on as many dresses as I wanted as much as I wanted. I picked my dress, and it arrived as expected. That part was satisfactory. Then, this happened . . . Two months before the wedding, I decided that I needed to start getting my alterations done. Not knowing of any other seamstress, I went with the one RECOMMENDED by Misora Bridal, where I purchased my dress. I assumed that they would not recommend anybody who was unskilled or unprofessional. Sew Hoang was the name. I lost some weight, so I needed her to take my dress in and hem the bottom to be floor length. After several fittings and text messages, we were at our second "final" fitting. I told her I wanted my dress to look like how I bought it except fitted for me. There was ruching that needed to be in the front of the dress that she completely took out. She said there wasn't enough fabric for that. At that time, I felt defeated. She asked if I liked it, and I literally said, "well, if there's not enough fabric, I guess there's nothing we can do . . . I guess so." I also told her I wanted the bustle to be floor length and not dragging on the floor. She said she was going to try. Later, when I thought about the front ruching on my way to work, I texted her explaining that I didn't understand why there would not be enough fabric since she previously said she did not cut the lace. I told her that all I wanted was for it to look like how it did before. I sent her the original picture several times. With no response, I tried to say as politely as possible that if she didn't think it was possible, then maybe I could take it home and try it myself. Then, I received a phone call from her, where she accosted me, asking what happened between that past Sunday & that day because she said I liked it. (Again, note what I said above. You can tell I wasn't happy with it or "liked" it.) I explained to her my thought process regarding the lace and how she mentioned that there wasn't enough fabric, which is why I gave up on the idea at that time, but later thought about it and realized it didn't make sense if she didn't cut the lace, which was the reason why I texted her that day. She yelled at me and said she never said that. Side note: my sister came with me to every fitting, and she clearly remembers this woman saying there wasn't enough. After denying her words, she screamed, "I HAVE NEVER HAD A CUSTOMER WHO COMPLAINED SO MUCH!" At that point, I was done with her. I asked to have my dress back. She responded, "NO, THAT IS MY RULE. YOU CANNOT HAVE THE DRESS BACK UNTIL IT IS DONE." I asked again to have my dress back. She said she was too busy to deal with this. Again, I asked if I could just have my dress back. She just said yeah in a manner that reminded me of a teenager who wanted to end an argument with a parent. Essentially, she was saying anything to try to get off the phone with me. I told her that my asking for my dress was a question, not a statement. She said yeah abruptly and hung up on me. I was shocked that someone I PAID would talk to me in such a way and made it seem like she was going to keep my dress hostage. Because of this, I was stressed out for the first time during the entire wedding planning process. Since she still had my dress, I was afraid of her maliciously ruining my dress, so I texted her saying there must have been a misunderstanding and that all I wanted was for my dress to look like it did when I bought it. If she could do it, then that would be great. I did not get a response. Several days later, I asked her when we were going to meet. Thankfully, she responded at that point. The following Sunday, we were scheduled to meet to discuss my dress, but I had plans of just walking out with my dress, as her original reaction was to not let me have it back yet. Assuming she didn't want to cause a scene, she ended up giving me back my dress through the bridal consultant. I was fortunate enough to not even see her face. I asked the consultant if it was how I left it last, and she said yes. Subsequently, I asked to try it on to make sure she didn't mess anything up. When I did, the consultant came in the dressing room and tried to talk my dress up. I explained to her that I was not satisfied and gave her a quick recap about what happened with the seamstress that her store recommended. She acted like she had no idea. Whether she knew about it or not, I told her I was going to write a poor review about Sew Hoang. TL:DR - Sew Hoang is the ONLY reason why I was stressed out about my wedding. Do NOT go to her. She was horrible. I took my dress to another woman named Mona, who was horrified by what she did to my dress. It took her 3 hrs just to undo everything Sew Hoang did. We are always more than happy to work with our customers and find the perfect solution for them with regards to their dress. In this particular instance, the designer who supplied this dress does not allow exchanges or returns, as was laid out in the terms and conditions of sale." All the more reason to measure right the first time, lady. What this tells me is that all you know how to do is hold a tape measure. You do not understand the cloth and cut that you are selling and the kind of measurements that need to be taken to accommodate a certain designers dress. You do not know your products! "We were not aware of the extent of your hesitations, given that they were not mentioned the first time you tried on the dress in November." This is an outright lie. Picture is attached with date. I don't know how it gets any clearer than writing, "tried on, dress don't fit." Apparently, the next step from here was: sorry, tough luck. "We will absolutely work on making sure that all of our customers are clear on the policies of the particular designer that they are purchasing from, as well as with those of our company." Read this carefully, yelpers. Indeed, she was very clear that there were no returns or exchanges. Nowhere does it read that we will absolutely work on making sure that our customers are SATISFIED. We put down a deposit, fully intending to buy a wedding dress. How about YOU take the time to understand the designer and how their cuts are meant to be worn, especially with these strict policies. What really gets us is that instead of acknowledging their errors, this crazy bat lady calls after our initial review to ARGUE with us! All her claims were based on the fact that she didn't know the extent, or her worker couldn't have helper her as much as she could have had we escalated our concerns more than the 3 times we already had. I have news for you crazy bat lady, if I have a problem with my meal at Landry's, it shouldn't take me complaining all the way up to Tillman Fertitta before it gets resolved. A BIG warning to fellow bride to be yelpers thinking about coming here: Don't do it! All eyes are on you during your big day. This crazy bat lady almost ruined that big day for us. Don't let her come close to ruining yours. The shop is nice. Go there, try on a few dresses, but SPEND ELSEWHERE. Not only is customer satisfaction is not a priority here, but I think she gets off on arguing with customers. Negative stars, if possible. Update: so the store i didn't even purchase the dress from got involved amd contacted their rep who in turn contacted Maggie Sotero corporate office and they are sending me a dress that will fit me. So what Misora couldn't do in 10 weeks the current store did in 24 hours. Amazing what a little customer service can do. I wanted to wait till I got my dress back before I wrote a review about my experience with Misora. Disclaimer: I LOVE my dress and I found it at Misora the whole review is about their lack of customer service and how I felt they would rather make a dollar than help serve customer when truly they made the mistake. I said yes to the dress in March and got it around July or August. I wasn't planning on moving out of Texas, but I got a job transfer and had to have my dress shipped to my new location. Since I was new to the area I had to find a place where I can go and try on my dress and I found it about a week later. I tried it and I couldn't have been happier so the ladies at the store suggested I try on some heels with it so I can get the full effect. I put the shoes on and my dress is short....like I threw it in the dryer and it shrunk short. I was mortified so I tried on shorter heels because maybe 4 inch heels weren't meant for this dress so I went for a 2 inch...still short....okay let's try flats (at this point i'm trying not to cry because I didn't want to wear flats on wedding day)....even the flats were peeping out from the bottom. I contacted the store immediately. Since I work retail management I told the owner I wasn't trying to get anything for free or discounted. We went back and forth for weeks about her wanting pictures of my measurement and pictures in the dress and on and on and on. I finally shipped the dressed back and she pretty much challenged me saying the pictures I send doesn't match up with the way she is measuring the dress and all. My dress is a 0 petite. I was educated by local wedding store and no one should ever order a dress in petite (unless you are super short which I about about five foot four), because it's always better to have extra that you can take out rather than not have anything to work with. What really agitated me was the consultant who measured me (ANNA) told me the petite would be perfect for me. The day I ordered the dress I was wearing about a 5 inch platform heel and I asked her "I will be able to wear heels right" to which she responded "Oh yeah you should be able to wear something like that in fact you might have to even get it taken in because even with the heels on the dress is long on you". What I DIDN'T know was I was wearing a regular size dress NOT a petite and Jeannie later tells me a petite is made for a person who is up to five foot six. Like why would you tell someone you can wear a 4-5 inch heel but the dress only accommodates maybe two inches on heels??? The weird part is that even though I am five foot four and the dress can accommodate some unto five six it's still short on me. I'm sure the owner will get on here and defend her consultants mistakes as she has done with all the other reviews, but my suggestion: Go here to look for dresses they have some great selection BUT go some where else and buy it where the staff might be a bit more knowledgeable about what they are talking about. Needless to say it's 38 days before the wedding and I don't have a dress that properly fits me. The above mentioned wedding store has been working with me she even offered to switch dresses with me if I got the dress in on time, but by the time I got the dress back from Misora this time around she already sold out of the same dress and couldn't guarantee she could get another one in on time. However she is working with her Maggie Sotero vendor to see if she can do anything to help me out. Every time she see's me in the dress all she does is put her head and shake her head. read more

Absolutely loved my experience shopping for a wedding dress at Misora! Upon arrival, Ann immediately helped me and by the time I visited Misora, I was already on my 8th bridal shop and was feeling a bit discouraged. Ann had also asked me for my budget and initially it sounded like their prices were just starting at the cusp of my max amount so I cringed not looking forward to what I would find. She helped me into several dresses and I was able to finally find "the one." Im glad that my sister was there to help critique as well. Not only did I get my dress on sale and significantly under my budget of less than $1000-$1500, there was also discount if I had bought it the same day. Another perk they throw in is a free steaming right before your big day and a makeup trial if you go with their hair & makeup salon called blush. Ann was so accommodating and understanding of my budget and we hit it off extremely well relating to each other on wedding planning, families, etc., etc. My dress arrived a month earlier as expected and when I came in for the fitting, Jeannie helped me and she was absolutely amazing and so sweet.. She gave her honest opinions and was very helpful and patient throughout the whole experience. I highly recommend this shop for future and current brides to look for their dresses. read more

I literally had 2 months to find a dress for my mobbed themed Vegas wedding. A friend of mine recommended this bridal boutique so I immediately made an appt. I remember everyone thought I was crazy for only booking 1 appt instead of booking several to shop around, but I had a good feeling (and prayed to God I'd find a dress esp on my time crunch). Seeing as I was a first time bride, and never stepped foot in a bridal boutique, besides to pick up a bridesmaid dress, I was overwhelmed seeing all those gowns. I had no clue where to start or what kind of dress I was really looking for. I just clipped a bunch of dresses to try on. The ladies here were absolutely wonderful and patient. I never felt rushed, despite having an hour window to find and try on dresses. I can't tell you how many dresses I tried on, but was able to narrow it down to 3. I had my girlfriends there for support and as I looked at all the pictures they took, I decided on the backless Allure Bridal gown since it stood out the most in pictures. The moon and stars were aligned because when Anna went to check the inventory, she came back to tell me that I was extremely lucky because they had 1 in my size. She said designers typically make size 0 and up, but my dress had 1 double 0 available. It was definitely meant to be mine! My dress is everything!!! Who would have thought I'd be able to find my dress at the first and only bridal shop I visited? I immediately ordered and paid for my dress that day, and received it 3 weeks later. I had a very seamless and great experience. The boutique itself was cute. They had a pretty good selection. I honestly couldn't tell you the price range because I didn't look at the price tags. I went in with an open mind, and didn't really set a budget for myself because I honestly had no clue how much wedding gowns cost. I will tell you that the 3 dresses I had narrowed it down to were in and around the $1000 price range. I highly recommend them. All the ladies that worked there shared their enthusiasm and genuinely seemed to be as invested as I was in finding my perfect dress. Thank you Misora! 5 stars for sure!!! I had the absolute best time at my bridal appointment with Ta'nia, my bridal consultant! She was knowledgeable, social, and so fun to work with! This boutique and their team are so professional and have made me the happiest bride ever! I found my dress and had an amazing experience doing it. I would recommend this boutique to anyone! I had a misunderstanding on my end (I think I was too excited about my dress to be thinking right lol), but the wonderful people at Misora handled it professionally and to the best degree. I was going to pick my dress up a little upset, and let me tell you, when I left, I was happier than ever and surprised at how amazingly nice they were. This was the second and final boutique I went to. I can't say enough about the experience but I'll keep it short and sweet. I found my dress! - YES, YOU CAN BRING WINE OR CHAMPAGNE :) :) :). They don't sell or provide it but I had brought a bottle just in case and they allowed us to open it. Made for an extra good feel - Karen helped us and she was beyond patient with me. I must have tried on 8-9 dresses. She was honest and knowledgeable. She allowed us to look through the dresses and choose some, after that she understood my style and would bring in dresses she thought I would like. She even mentioned what was over my budget and what was on clearance in case I found anything in there I would like. - We had a party of 3 and were escorted to a private little room - The variety of dresses was awesome. I saw dresses ranging from $400 and above - Colors: Whites, Ivory, Champagne, Taupes, lace, beaded you name it .. - They didn't provide heels to try on the dresses nor a corset but it's ok... the pedestal is made up for height. I said "yes to the dress" !!!! Misora bridal boutique has high end bridal dresses. I had the pleasure of having Rio as my bridal consultant. To say the least she was a breath of fresh air, her eye for picking the perfect dress for me was phenomenal. It was the dress that she picked for me, that I chose as my dress. My overall experience was amazing. A client along with her entourage felt the salon should have been all to themselves, Rio quickly and professionally kept my appointment separate, chic and classy. I strongly suggest if you are a bride and you want the best of the best, make an appointment to go to Misora bridal boutique (on a Sunday). AMAZING. Looking at wedding dresses I was so overwhelmed by all the different options presented to me. Which style do I get, what looks good on my body type? I walked into the boutique, unsure really of what to expect, but was blown away by my consultant, Anna Lam, who was absolutely fantastic. She was funny and kind and most importantly - calm. I think she could sense that I was so nervous and she really helped bring down my nerves by giving me so much support. I wasnt sure what I wanted, but I had seen some styles I liked and I came in with a couple in mind. I told Anna my price point (Im a college student on a budget) and she was great in respecting what I needed and not making me feel less "bridal" for not being able to afford the newest season material. Anna was so great in helping me in and out of dresses and really made me feel like a star. I am so grateful for the attention she gave me to really make my day spectacular! So this boutique gets 5/5 stars, and I would give it more if I could. The store is gorgeous and just feels so private and lush. The consultants are FANTASTIC and make you feel like comfortable (which is really what I need because most stores make me nervous as all get out). And they do have sales and discount dresses that are 110% more beautiful than what you think you can get on a budget. So if you are sitting at home overwhelmed and looking at bridal stores that you are worried are just going to stress you out or push you into something you wont like, like I was, this place is somewhere you really should check out! Decided to get my makeup done here. Just finished my trial as am I doing make up and hair for both engagement photos and wedding day. I LOVED IT! They are fantastic! Jeannie (don't know how to spell?) did my make up and she is great! Can't wait to go back! What did I love about my makeup? Well, I have difficult "Asian" eyes - single lid, small. Jeannie was able to "draw" in a second lid and it looked so natural! In the end, my eyes looked double the size! So in essence, they really know how to do makeup for Asians. Most importantly, I did NOT have the super white caked on foundation that makes me look like a ghost. My make-up was PERFECT for my wedding AND engagement photos. Out of all the dress boutiques I went to I have to say that Misora left a special imprint on my bridal dress shopping experience. My appointment was on a Friday morning at 10am. I was there for a little over an hour and did not feel rushed at all. Misora answered all my questions and were equally attentive to my bridesmaids who accompanied me. The boutique was girly, dainty and delicate. Another reviewer did not give 5 stars due to the limited seating in the dressing room. I did not encounter this problem. I brought two of my bridesmaids and we were all able to fit on the love seat comfortably. I enjoyed the energy and excitement Jeanie and Anna shared about my wedding journey. They were patient in helping me try on 6+ dresses. They took the time to neatly clip each dress to form fit my body so that I could get the full experience from the dress. I loved the step up pedestal with the 360 degree mirrors that showcased every angle of the dress. The dress that I finally said yes to was completely opposite from what I instagram/pintrest/googleimage my dress to be. I'm thankful that they opened my eyes and dared me to step outside the box with a wedding dress that exceeded my expectations! The fact that Jeanie and Anna were patient enough to pull dresses of all different varieties for me to compare showed that they genuinely wanted me to find the dress that was unique to me. The dresses I tried were made with high quality lace and came with an affordable price. To my surprise, I was given a discount that saved me $400+ on the ticket price of the dress! Jeanie and Anna made great suggestions on which veil would compliment the dress best and offered a consultation for bridal makeup. I would highly recommend any bride/bridesmaid to make an appointment with Misora and give them a chance! I made the down payment that day and am estimated to receive my dress in February. After having an awful experience at another bridal store and walking out 20 minutes after the appointment began, I arrived almost an hour before my scheduled appointment with Misora. They were accommodating and pleased to have me start early. I believe my consultant was Anna but for the life of me cannot remember for sure. The employee name on my receipt says "Sagrario". Please forgive me! She was the 4th consultant I'd met in 2 days. She was soooo nice and sweet and called me two days before and chatted with me a bit about what I was looking for and confirmed they had a certain dress I saw online. I really liked this. No other shop did this. When I arrived she was sure to grab the dress we chatted about on the phone and showed me others she thought I may like. She also allowed my friends and I to pick out some other ones before we headed to the fitting room. I really loved the fitting room set up here. They have big private rooms with a curtain that divides the space so you can change on one side and your guests can sit on the sofa on the other side. It made it feel very intimate and special. I was basically naked the whole time but after 3 other appointments I was no longer modest but "Anna" made me feel very comfortable and laughed along with me and crazy friends. She pinched me once with a clip and I'm pretty sure it hurt her more than me. She was so sorry and sincere and it was adorable. No harm no foul! She was great at clipping and I appreciated her trying hard to get the dress to fit perfectly so I could really see them. I did end up finding "the dress" here and it wasn't one I had originally even thought about. It is so unique and just perfect. This place has a much bigger selection of unique colors and styles that other places didn't. I was looking for a champagne colored dress and I had a lot to choose from here. They have a lot of Essence of Australia and Maggie Sottero. The thing that impressed me most here was how thorough they were in measuring me for the dress. I had to be bra less while they measured which was a bit personal but I understood. They were completely professional. Anna measured me twice and then Jeannie, the manager or owner I think, came in and explained that she was going to double check for accuracy. I got dressed after that but then they came back in and asked me to put the dress back on because I was between sizes in the hips and they wanted to know how I would like it to fit there. They explained everything to me about the sizing and I felt very confident that they had ordered me the correct size. I loved the 10% off for buying the day of and the free makeup trail they throw in at their in-house salon. Overall great experience and wonderful personalized service. This is a hidden gem. Most people would not consider going to Chinatown to go wedding dress shopping. Well, this little shop is a must visit. Although the shop is small, they do have a nice selection of gowns. Many of them are $1500 and under. They only carry a few over $2000. They also have a good variety of gowns. The service is great. I walked in off the street on a Sunday with no appointment and was able to get one-on-one personal assistance from Anna. She was so fun to work with. I went in by myself with no friends or family but Anna slipped right into their shoes and helped me critique each dress. I brought my mom, sister and girlfriend back the following Saturday to show them what I picked out. Anna was still helping another customer but another girl jumped right in and got my dresses for me. By the time I had my first dress on, Anna was ready for me. After trying everything on, I had one dress at this shop I was considering but there was one small issue with the dress design we needed to find from alterations if it could be fix. Anna talked to their seamstress the very next day and called me with her advice. Unfortunately, the perfect dress for me was not at this shop. But if it was, I would have loved to have given them my business. read more

I was shocked to find a dress on my first try and with the help of Anna, who was extremely sweet, she made my experience very pleasant.
