As a street size 8 (which translates to a bridal 10 or 12), I was thrilled to find a huge array of gorgeous gowns that fit perfectly. I also really appreciated that their prices are incredibly affordable - it certainly didn't hurt that I saved some coins, especially since I'd only be wearing my dress for about six hours! The absolute shining star of Marry Go Round Bridal, however, is the owner, Kaytlyn. She was incredibly patient with both my mother and me, never rushing us or pressuring us to make a decision. This shop has a great selection of high-quality previously owned dresses in a wide range of sizes at much more affordable prices. It is very well organized, and it has the feel more like a designer boutique rather than a resale/consignment vibe. It's not cluttered, sizes are in very orderly sections, and the dressing room space is more chic than a chain bridal store tends to have. It seems they set the bar pretty high with what they choose to add to inventory. The staff is very pleasant and willing to help as much or as little as you prefer with the trying on process... they are very knowledgeable of their current inventory as well, so once they learn your size and which gown features you are most excited about they can be a huge help in rounding up other dresses you might like without having to comb through everything on your own. This was a big deal with this particular search because the majority are zipped up in their bag and often only partially visible hanging on the rack. Many dresses will also have an accessory like a belt or veil or may simply just have excessive amounts of material (for example in the form of a long train or big bustle) which can make it difficult to see what it actually has going on by simply holding one up. Since they have seen the dresses on others and are familiar with their unique features, they have invaluable info to help find the best one for you. Saves a lot of time and avoids the otherwise inevitable white dress fatigue... lol I got a lovely dress for about a third of its original retail that required only minimal alterations. The savings meant more funds available for the more important things like the entertainment and an open bar. Happy dress hunting, and I hope your big day is a blast! :) One last sidenote... If you are like me and this dress will be your first experience with fancy alterations, you may consider researching the cost of that phase before you shop so you can budget for both from the start. Not a stellar dress shopping experience. I was going with my friend who was dress shopping. The person who was helping her try on dresses was so unhelpful- she did not try to clip back any oversized dresses or hide the hanger straps to make the dress more flattering. She did not listen to what my friend wanted in a dress or try to make recommendations of dresses that my friend would like. It was hard for my friend and our group to select dresses because each dress is in a bag on the hanger so it's hard to figure out the shape of each dress (mermaid vs A line vs ball gown etc). They also do not have an in house seamstress so it was hard to understand the possible alterations realistically. I was trying to take pics and send to our other friends to get their input but I had no service so I asked 3 different people for the WiFi password and they brushed me off saying someone would come give it to me and that never happened. We came on a Saturday and there was plenty of street parking right in front of the school (?) that's opposite of the shop. A plus is that they do have a pretty large selection of consignment dresses that sit near $1k typically, a bit more expensive than other similar shops. read more

Found my dress at Marry Go Round. Bri was super helpful and so so sweet! It was my first place that I visited to try on dresses. When I arrived and checked in, you're given about 7 or so bows to clip on to some dresses you're interested in trying on. I provided my size and Bri showed me around some of the size option that would fit me which was great because it opened up some of my options to not just my size. I tried on some dresses and Bri clipped the back really well so it would help me visualize the dress after alterations. She provided a few veil options so we could toy around with the look. I wasn't going to buy a veil but it was helpful to see what it would look like. We tried on a few different options, shapes, etc. which helped narrow down the search. However, after the second dress I was sold lol. I bought my dress for $850 which is such a steal! I put down $40 to place on a hold for 24 hours and came back the next day to pick it up when I was ready to commit! The $40 ended up going toward the cost of the dress which was great! I was a little skeptical about this place at first, but from the moment I stepped inside my concerns melted away. We had trouble finding the location because the building shares a space with a lash studio that has a lot of signage and logos that masks any of the Marry Go Round ones that we were able to see. We pulled into a nearby parking lot and ended up using Google maps street view to figure out where the store was. Once we knew where we were headed, we were able to see their name written on the side of the building (but we had come from the other side when we were driving and had missed it). Look for a dark gray painted building with an overhang that leads to parking behind. They also told us that we were allowed to park in the lot next door. The little house-converted-into-a-shop was adorable, and had a very comfortable and familiar vibe. We worked with Lauren, who was an absolute treasure. She told us that her sister owned the business, and she has been working there for almost four years. Lauren was incredibly helpful, kind, and patient with us, which was essential for my first wedding dress shopping experience! We couldn't have asked for a better rep - thank you so much Lauren! They have a wonderful system in place at the shop. They only carry dresses from the past two years. Some are on consignment from brides that have been worn before, and others are from sample collections that were never sold. The dresses are first divided by price, then by size. If you are trying to stay within a certain budget, you will be directed to a room that contains that price. From there they are sorted by size, and hanging in large, clear display bags so you can easily see what you are looking at. They have a fun system with bow clips -- they give you a hanger full of clips with bows on them, and you simply clip them onto the bags of the dresses that you are interested in. From there, your attendant will gather the dresses and prepare them in the room for you. The changing rooms are more spacious than any others that I have seen so far (I have visited a few other shops since) and by far the most comfortable. The attendants can help as much or as little as you need with all of the buttons, etc. COVID notes: Appointments required, smaller groups only, masks required, attendants wear masks, and there is hand sanitizer available. They steam the dresses with a sanitizer after they are tried on before putting them back out on display. I felt very comfortable and safe. Overall an adorable shop with a wonderful staff. While I didn't find my dress the first go round, because I wasn't sure what I was looking for, the entire staff was super kind, not pushy, and I felt super comfortable. They definitely left such an impression on me! Fast forward two months later, I've been to a few other bridal shops and I finally discovered the style I feel looks best on me, so, because Marry Go Round is down the street from my house, I made another appointment to check out the new arrivals. Marry go Round was such a hidden gem that turned out to be a stunning experience! Almost every single dress I tried on I considered getting, lol! There is such a large selection! My budget was around $1000, and there were plenty of options. Although, most dresses were around $1500+. This was my third and final bridal shop that I went to and the shopping experience was nothing like the others (in a good way)! They give you a hanger with little bows that as you search through the dresses you clip on the ones you are interested in trying on. They give you about 8, but they said you could ask for more if needed. The appointment time is 1.25hrs but since there was no other appointments after me, they let me stay as long as I needed! My mom and I went shopping for a wedding dress here this past weekend, and I said yes to a dress! The hospitality and friendliness of the staff is amazing, and I felt comfortable the entire time. Since there were a few appointments going on, my mom helped me in and out of the dresses which was a nicer experience than being dressed by a stranger. They give you a set of clips to clip to the garment bags containing each dress you want to try. Each bride's clip set is a different color in case there are multiple brides there at a time. We tried on 7 dresses from fitted to ballgown to A-line and all the fabrics and textures in between! I felt that there was a great variety and selection in all sizes. We had another bridal appointment at a different salon later in the day, so we were able to put a 24-hour, $40 hold on the dress to keep anyone else from purchasing it out from under us that day. We ended up calling back later and purchasing the dress over the phone, and I picked it up later the following day. They also have recommendations for alterations which is great! read more

O M G. This place is such a gem! I started stalking them on Instagram because I read on their website that's where they post their new arrivals. There was a dress on their Instagram posted October 2021 that really caught my attention because it was everything that I wanted in a dress. Unfortunately, of course, the dress was bought already. I knew coming in that I might not find the dress because this is a consignment shop, and I am so petite (5'1", normally wear size 0). Martha was very nice, welcomed us at the store, explained briefly about the dress selections, and let us browse all we wanted, but came to check on us periodically and helped me try on all the dresses. Although the small size selection is smaller than other "common" sizes, but I ended up trying close to 10 dresses all in different styles. And to my surprise I did find the dress for under $1000 after tax! It was in a great conditions and only require few alterations to fit my body and height. Heard about this from a friend and was impressed by their collection from Instagram/Facebook to come check it out! The main pros for going to a consignment store is you buy what you see--which cuts out a lot of the lead time usually needed when wedding dress shopping (i.e. picking a style, placing an order in your size, then having it altered afterwards which is usually estimated to take 6-8 months). I loved the variety of dresses they had--sheath, tea length, ball gown, a-line. When my friend and I came in on a Wednesday at 4:30 for our 1.5hr appointment, Martha actually let us try on dresses on our own and let her know if we needed help. I appreciated her trust of us which made our experience quite special. Incredibly, I found my dress here (the first, and only, place I went for dress shopping) within the hour at a truly unbeatable price. They were also very helpful with the entire process of wedding dress shopping, providing a list of local tailors they vetted for alterations along with reasonable price ranges for doing so. read more
