She was able to do this in a very short time period while still giving me a very high quality result. I felt very comfortable in her little private studio. Wow. I needed some quick alterations done today, early this morning. I drove by several places that either weren't open yet or didn't do alterations on site and it would take 2-3 days for it to get done. While looking at Yelp I came across Pam's, and while she didn't have any reviews on Yelp yet, a Google search showed that she had some positive reviews before her location changed. Being in the neighborhood, I swung by and gave her a call. She immediately answered and met me outside like 10 seconds later. This is definitely the fastest service I've had done for any kind of alterations. I told her what I needed done, and I was seriously in and out of her little shop in less than 5 minutes. She did everything right there in front of me, and we had a nice chat in the meantime. She's one of the sweetest people I've ever met and was happy and willing to get what I needed done as fast as possible. Give her a call if you need some emergency tailoring or alterations done, or call and make an appointment so she's ready for you when you get there. She's open earlier than most places (I saw her at 8:02 AM), and I know I'll definitely be bringing my business to her from now on. read more

I'd never gone to a tailor to have anything other than a wedding dress altered, so I was a little nervous about looking around for one. I had an Azazie bridesmaid dress coming, but I wanted to make sure the tailor I chose would do a good job on that dress because I only had one shot. So first I brought in two of my normal dresses to see how she would do with them. One was too long and tripped me up and one was a tube dress that kept slipping. Pam did a wonderful job on these, hemming the front of the long one so that it still trailed gracefully in the back, and placing elastic in the tube dress so I could stop hiking it every thirty seconds. I just got back from picking up the bridesmaid dress, which I entrusted to her on my second visit. When it came to me, it was almost a whole size too big all over, but after Pam worked on it, it fits perfectly. I couldn't be happier, and she definitely has me as a customer as long as I live in Spring. read more

The week before the wedding she sent a message asking me to come and pick up the dress because she isn't able to do it. I just can't believe I trusted this monster with a $3000 dress. I took the dress to Luxury Tailors in the Woodlands and Monica was able to do the dress THE SAME DAY for only $200. I could not thank enough to Monica for her kindness and help. I called Pam on a Monday to see if she was able to take in my bridesmaid dress. She told me that she was going to be going on vacation, but to still bring it in and she could have it done in two days. I have to admit I was very nervous that it was going to be rushed, but she called me not two days later but the next morning and said that my dress was ready. I came to Pam with a bridesmaids dress from Azazie that I needed to have altered within 2 weeks. I needed the waist/top taken in about an inch on both sides and with something like 2 inches (I don't remember exactly but it was a lot, like 17 meters of fabric needed to be trimmed in total!) trimmed off the bottom of the skirt (which had 3 layers and all pleating). When I got the dress back you could actually see that I had a waist! The top fit so well and Pam did such hard work on trimming the skirt - getting it just the right length to brush the ground but not drag & get stepped on by my shoes and she made sure all the pleating was still in place & even. It was miles better than it was originally and probably the best work I'd get for the challenge the dress gave. The price was a lot higher than expected (it's been a while since I've had alterations done) but when factoring in the amount of fabric, layers, type of work done, specialties of the dress (the pleating) and labor & quality, I felt a bit better about it.
