Macchiato with an Israeli breakfast. It was delicious!
    Sambo N.

I'd describe this place as upscale fast-casual. The menu is very impressive. There are baked goods, coffee, fresh pressed juice, smoothies, vegan options, healthy options, and non-healthy options. I decided on the Israeli breakfast and it was delightful. My macchiato came with an adorable piece of chocolate. The staff was very pleasant and the food came out much quicker than expected. I was a little confused as I noticed a bunch of people were ordering at kiosks when I walked in. I walked up to the registers to order with an employee. I will say, I am not entirely sure if I was charged correctly based on what I ordered, as the "pita bread" that I thought came with my meal ended up being the size of a small pizza with herbs on it. I ended up placing a second order for my boyfriend when he joined me and realized that I was definitely overcharged the second time since we only ordered egg bites but ended up receiving a meal with egg bites and salad. Not a big deal, except it was an extra $3.50 for a salad we never asked for. I believe this is a new restaurant in this area and so perhaps the employees are still getting used to the menu, but it is a little off-putting knowing that I'll probably end up being overcharged sometimes. That being said, now it kind of makes sense why so many people were ordering at the kiosks. This is a quirk I'm willing to overlook bc the food appears to be really good and healthy and the prices are really fair.

Same as all of the other Pressed I've been to - always consistently good. Food and service are always on point. Crazy selection, and always served fast no matter how busy.

This place lived upto the hype!! Their vegan menu is amazing. The vegan burger and the vegan kebabs are so flavorful and the texture is so realistic to a real meat patty. They have extensive vegetarian menu. Loved everything we had here one of the best places for brunch so far. Their service was super quick. Also their Mediterranean sauces are so flavorful and spicy they paired excellently with the food.

I was amazed by the size of the menu. The pizza smelled amazing but I got a Mexicali bowl. Love how everything can be customized. The staff we met was quite enthusiast about the food.

It was my first time going into a Pressed Cafe, it was definitely not what I expected. It was very busy. I was meeting day for a group gathering so we had a reserved area. I ordered an Iced Babka Latte upon the recommendation of one of the girls and it was very good. Definitely hit the spot with my sweet tooth.

    * Tasty everytime * I try a new item here and I find it tasty every single time! Highly recommended for remote work, quick lunches, snacky times. Ample of parking, seating, and quick service.

Not the cheapest place but the food and drink options are great. Recommend the yougurt based plates and smoothies.

The corned beef is large chunks, not small diced pieces found in most commercial and canned hash. The potatoes, peppers, and onions gave a nice texture and flavor. I had it topped with two over medium eggs which were perfectly cooked. As I was eyeing the French toast, he gave me a single piece which included their fruit infused whipped cream and was really, really good! That might be my entree next time. My friend got the crepes and her face was doing happy expressions while she was eating. My new best friend Maria kept my coffee mug full-she visited the table frequently to make sure my mug never got low nor cold. She also took care to clean the table promptly as plates were finished. Now if my kids could learn that... oh wait, this is a diner review. The ambiance is cute and chic. There was easy access to accommodate wheel chairs and they have their menu clearly marked for gluten free available and vegan options (most of the menu). The menu is on the fancier side; they will prepare whatever someone wants (e.g. if someone just wants 2 eggs and bacon, they can easily do that). The location is on Main St. so parking is hit or miss. If you are nearby and want something good, this is a good option!

The breakfast menu includes plenty of options with filling portions of breakfast staples including eggs, benedicts, omelettes, pancakes, french toast, waffles, or breakfast sandwiches. The menu also offers several sandwiches -- including grilled chicken, boneless fried chicken, chicken salad, steak and cheese -- which are available all day for those heathens who don't crave breakfast foods at every opportunity. I had the Javah Grindah sandwich ($8), comprised of two eggs (over medium at my request), breakfast meat (ham, bacon, or sausage), and a side of James River BBQ sauce on a fresh grinder roll. Unfortunately.. although the description on the menu doesn't mention cheese, my sandwich came out with two slices of white American cheese. I hate having to ask a restaurant to do this, but I had to send it back because lactose. Our server apologized for the misunderstanding and brought a replacement sandwich without cheese out straight away. The sandwich was really tasty with the BBQ sauce. My dining companion preferred something lighter and opted for the Skinny Girl Pick ($12), comprised of two eggs, fresh avocado, fresh fruit, and a few slices of wheat toast, which she really enjoyed. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area! PRO TIP: Make sure you let your server know of any food allergies or dietary restrictions, in case the chef decides to use ingredients not listed on the menu.

The quality of service, food, drinks, atmosphere were all very good. Turnover here is also very good, as there was no wait for an almost-full restaurant at 7pm on a Friday evening. Drinks were flavorful, but strength seemed a bit inconsistent. My Patriot's Pour, a bourbon drink, seemed a wee bit stronger both in flavor and perceived alcohol than the martinis we were served. The ice cube with the restaurant's name in it was a nice touch. Our dinners all came out at the same time and were, as mentioned, enjoyable. I did notice that the counter in front of the kitchen, where dishes are placed waiting for pickup, seemed to have more plates on it than the could be under the heat lamps. Hopefully folks' dinners weren't inconsistent in temperature. My Thai salmon was done the way I like it, firm and crispy. Parking outside is ample as well, there were several spaces free near the entrance at any time. They do a good job all-around here.

Early Harvest Diner in Wakefield, MA is a solid neighborhood breakfast spot with a…read moresmall-to-medium-sized dining room and a good amount of seating. They offer regular table seating, counter seats, and booths. The booths, however, are pretty uncomfortable--despite having a cushion, you immediately feel the wooden board underneath when you sit down, which takes away from the experience a bit. We went around 11:00 AM on a Saturday and were seated quickly with no wait, though I can imagine on a busier morning there could be a decent wait time given the diner's size. The menu has a good variety, but pricing can be a little confusing. Some menu prices don't always reflect the final cost due to fluctuating egg prices. There is a sticker noting this, but it's easy to miss and may not be obvious to customers. We ordered the steak and eggs, which came out to $20 and was cooked nicely to a true medium rare. The hash browns weren't overdone and had a great crunch on the outside. The pancake we tried was very fluffy, and their iced coffee was genuinely delicious. We also ordered the Double Double, which also cost $20 and offered a decent portion of food for the price, along with sausage links as a side. They do offer real maple syrup for waffles or pancakes, though it costs extra. One thing I found to be a flaw is that the maple syrup and ketchup on the table had no labels--personally, I like knowing the brand or ingredients of what I'm eating. The same went for the hot sauce they offered; it was served in an unlabeled glass bottle. It tasted very similar to Frank's RedHot and had the same consistency, but it would be nice to know for sure. The staff is kind and attentive when it comes to taking your order and delivering food, but once the plates hit the table, check-ins are minimal. If you need something, you may have to flag someone down. Parking isn't bad since it's located in a plaza, and there's additional parking in the back if the main lot fills up. Overall, Early Harvest Diner is a nice place to grab breakfast with your family or significant other without breaking the bank. The food quality is solid, but the vibe could benefit from a refresh to feel a bit more cozy and modern.

We each had an entree, shared 2 orders of the beef empanadas (Star of the show!), and a total of 5 cocktails and 2 beers. The bill came to just over $300 before tip. This isn't horrible for a tapas spot, but the taste of the entrees were just not worth it. That, and the amount of alcohol you get in most of the cocktails. So much ice and like 2 sips of drink. There's 1 drink with aperol and champagne that is big and you get the remainder of the small champagne as a side car though. We had 2 of the paellas and they were on the smaller side for paella. The flavor was meh and nothing really stood out. I had the steak frites and it was such a small portion of steak. Maybe 4 oz? And the char flavor was so overpowering. The chimichurri I was looking forward to was extremely mild in flavor. The fries were cooked nicely though. Our server was friendly but forgetful.
