We came to Premium Autos after seeing what looked like good prices and a solid selection of Tesla Model X vehicles online. Like others have mentioned, the pricing seemed competitive at first glance. Unfortunately, the experience in person was completely different. When we arrived, there was little to no assistance. We were basically told to walk the lot ourselves and find the Model X we were interested in. No guidance, no walkthrough, and no effort to understand what we were looking for. After locating a few Model X options, we went back inside to let them know. They handed us a key to open one of the vehicles, but the car was completely dead and wouldn't unlock. This happened with multiple Model X vehicles we wanted to see. None of them were ready to be viewed or test-driven. We then spoke with a female sales representative, and that's when things took a turn. She told us that before they could even charge the vehicle or bring it out for us to properly see, they would need to run numbers and pull my credit. That didn't sit right. We came specifically to inspect the Tesla Model X in person, not move forward financially before even seeing the inside of the actual car. When we explained that, she suggested we go to a Tesla dealership to look at a similar Model X instead. That was a huge red flag. If I'm buying a specific used vehicle, I want to see that exact car, not a similar one somewhere else. On top of that, they were trying to justify pricing by adding a $2,000 theft protection add-on, presenting it in a way that felt tied to a rebate. It came across as unclear and misleading. Overall, this was a very poor car buying experience. The lack of preparation, pressure to move forward before even viewing the vehicle, and questionable add-ons made this dealership feel untrustworthy. We ended up purchasing a Tesla Model X from another dealership, and the experience was night and day. The vehicle was ready, fully accessible, and we were able to actually see, sit in, and feel confident about the exact car we were buying before making any decisions. Buying a car from Premier Auto was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. Kamila sold me a complete lemon and then acted like she didn't know me when the problems started. Even though I visited 3 time due to my unreliable car I purchased almost immediately after purchase, the car had serious mechanical and electrical issues, leaving me without a reliable vehicle and buried in stress. They were friendly when taking my money, but once the car started falling apart, accountability went out the window. Endless problems, wasted time, and zero concern for the customer. I was prepared only because I read the comments. They told me the entire time the price was what i saw online, but only when i was going to sign, the price was higher than expected. Then when i asked how is this number different then what i expect. Only THEN, they showed the breakdown with the extra $1999. I expected the extra 2k from the comments but didn't think they would try to sneak it in like they did. Also, the car I got has 1 different tire from the others with a very different tread. From what I understand this isn't good for 4 wheel drive cars. On the good side they were able to shop rates and got me a better interest rate then the one i got from navy federal. All in all, making someone pay for something they will 100% not use is a scam no matter how good the price is. I called and was greeted by an AI automated person, and they arranged for me to test drive the car at the dealership. This dealership was extremely disappointing. They added a $2,000 theft protection fee to the car price without clearly informing me. When you are asked to sign a large stack of documents, they do not explain the details, making it very easy to sign without fully realizing what you are agreeing to. After the deal was completed, they refused to refund this fee. You must carefully review every single document they ask you to sign -- including whether the vehicle is an accident car or an auction car. They will not proactively disclose this information, yet you end up signing papers stating that you "acknowledge and are aware of the vehicle history." Once that happens, you are forced to accept the loss. If you don't want to waste money unnecessarily, be extremely cautious with their paperwork. Believe the other bad reviews. Drove out for an appointment to see a specific car that's been on their lot for 200 days, only to wait for over 20 minutes to be seen. Immediately the sales guy told us that the cost was much higher than what was advertised and that there was absolutely nothing he could do to lower it, despite the vehicle being in a serious accident, being recovered from being stolen, and being a rental vehicle. When you visit, you will be told, the price will be at lease $2000 more. Well, my case was much worse than that. We made an appointment 2 days in advance and request the car we were interested in to be ready. Then, Barbara who text me was off on that day. I guess that is ok, but the car was not ready at all. It was on lift and they could not properly operate the lift (broken) and we were told we need to come back another day to test drive the car. We drove from Newport Beach for 55 min to test the car.
