When we decided to talk numbers all this sudden it was told to me the car was $9,950.. I said no wait the car is $8695 and I proceeded to show the image of the car on these site. Tony got louder and more intense tone saying something that made no sense and then said "look I'm not going to go back and forth with you on numbers" Still being interested and I don't like to argue I sat silent. Then AFTER running my credit which I NEVER approved of!!! They presented me with numbers. A random KBB page (not official) because we ran the car too and it didn't line up with his page here. Also, being concerned with the random $1,999 fee with no explanation I asked. Turns out it's the "protective tape" Placed along the door edges and behind where the door handle is. This has a "lifetime" warranty and there because those areas get "scratched" more often. For $2k?!? No, no thank you! I bet you it cost them maybe $25. I don't care I don't want to spend $2k on that. They took my money, and about 30 minutes later, I received a call saying there was a "mistake" and that they would not honor the agreed price, stating the lowest they could now do was $47,000. When I questioned the agreement, they simply said that "nothing was signed," completely ignoring the verbal agreement, the money taken, and the entire process. Additionally, during the process, I was asked to say the vehicle cost around $9,000 if there were any questions related to taxes. I agreed to purchase it at sticker price but they refused to sell it to me because I did not want to purchase their added warranty for almost $3000. (Beware--Angry T looks mean and grumpy, and to be fair he had reason to be when we were there, because he had just lost his wallet, but we even joked about it and teased him, and it was all good.) As an extra testimonial--during our test drive, we noticed an issue with a small little something, brought it to Tony's attention, and even after the purchase and having taken possession of the car, Tony is staying on top of it to make sure the issue is addressed, as discussed. We bought a used car from this dealership and only later found out that we were charged $2,000 extra for a paint protection film that nobody mentioned at any point - not the salesperson, not the finance manager, not a single person, we didn't even know it existed. There were no signs, no posters, no brochures, and no mentions of this charge anywhere in the dealership. What did we actually get for $2,000? Four 1-inch adhesive strips on the door edges, behind the handles, and a small piece on the bumper. This type of product sells for a fraction of that price. When we came back to dispute the charge, we were told: "That's what we always do - every car we sell has it." This means it's a mandatory add-on on every car they sell, yet it's nowhere in their advertised prices and nowhere in their website disclaimer. Their disclaimer lists all excluded charges - taxes, doc fees, finance charges, emissions - but dealer add-ons like this $2,000 charge are not mentioned at all. There is no way to know the real price of any car here until you're already signing paperwork. The contract is also misleading. The charge is buried on a separate page that nobody explains to you. The signing process is rushed - "sign here, sign here" - with no explanation of what you're agreeing to. Their disclaimer says it's the buyer's responsibility to verify all details - but at the time of signing, we had no way of knowing what details we were even missing. We had a decent purchase but when it came to paying the down payment Achmed aka Tony asked us to zelle the 3500 down. My son brought checks but he said he'd prefer the money sent to him. With USAA, as we are a veteran family, we can only send a certain amount daily so My son sent some and my husband sent some. I asked if he takes venmo or check and he said he'd take a check but prefers venmo so he gets the money instantly. I sent $1950. He received $1912 since he has a business account and they charge business a fee. I discovered the changes only after the documents were finalized. The vehicle I received was not in the condition described in the advertisement. It had major mechanical problems that were not disclosed. Within hours the car developed serious faults and warning lights. A qualified mechanic confirmed the defects were pre-existing. The cost to repair the defects was substantial. Because of the undisclosed defects and contract changes, my financial loss exceeds four figures. I believe this business knowingly sells defective vehicles. They perform quick cosmetic fixes then resell the cars as "ready to drive." They conceal safety and mechanical problems during the listing and sale. When you try to resolve the issue, they do not respond. Calls, texts, and emails went unanswered. They communicate before payment but vanish afterward. They used my personal information in ways I did not authorize. I have reported the unauthorized use of my information to the appropriate authorities. I have also filed a formal consumer complaint with the appropriate state enforcement agency.
