I brought my 2018 Chevy Volt here for a steering issue. Before making the appointment, I…read morespecifically asked if they handled extended warranty claims and was assured they did them all the time for the warranty I have. After their diagnostic, they claimed my steering column looked damaged from an accident and told me the car would ultimately need to go to a collision shop. Would not provide me with any evidence for the claim. I knew for a fact the car had never been in an accident. Despite this faulty explanation, they charged me $200 for the diagnostic and wanted approximately another $1,300 before sending me down the collision-repair route.Their explanation made no sense, so I took my vehicle elsewhere for a second opinion. The reality:The actual problem was simply that both front struts had failed. There was zero accident damage, and the repair was fully covered under my warranty at the other shop. The takeaway:I paid $200 for an entirely incorrect diagnosis, was falsely told my car showed signs of an accident, and was pressured for another $1,300 for a problem that had nothing to do with a collision. This service department is either incompetent at diagnosing a straightforward suspension problem, or they simply did not want to deal with a warranty repair. I paid for an inspection that failed to identify the actual problem, and had I trusted them, I would have been out thousands of dollars. Get a second opinion before trusting this service department

**0 STAR -- Extremely Disappointing Service Experience**…read more I purchased a brand-new 2026 Ford Bronco from Randall Reed's Planet Ford in Humble in March 2026. In July, the windshield developed a significant crack with no visible chip, impact point, or other indication that something had struck it. When I contacted the service department, I was told it could potentially be a stress crack and was asked to bring the vehicle in. Steve inspected it and said he had never seen a crack like it without an apparent impact. He then asked me to return the following morning so their glass technician/manager, Todd, could inspect it. I returned as requested, and Todd also stated that he had never seen a crack like this. Pictures were taken, and I was told they would follow up with me. I also mentioned that, after doing some online research, this seemed to be a common issue. It was nearly three weeks between communication. I made multiple calls, left multiple messages and was repeatedly told that Steve or Todd would call me back. **Neither has followed through.** At one point, Steve told me he didn't even realize I had returned for the inspection he had specifically asked me to come back for. I have also emailed and left messages for Mark, the General Manager and still no response or acknowledgment. What makes this even more frustrating is that I was told a replacement windshield would cost approximately **$800** and would possibly be covered by Ford!  I purchased this vehicle brand new from Planet Ford only a few months ago. The lack of communication and follow up from the service department and management has been extremely disappointing. **Overall I tried reaching them for about 5 weeks. Multiple calls and messages. Multiple promises of a callback. Zero follow through.** This experience has confirmed that I would NEVER purchase another vehicle from this dealership nor will I even return here for any maintenance. **Buyer beware: the sale may be easy, but getting service and basic communication afterward has been a completely different experience.**

I am leaving this review to share my recent experience with the service department at Group 1 Honda…read moreof Kingwood. I recently brought my vehicle in for service and presented a service coupon that had been mailed to me by the dealership in April. Since I don't always need maintenance the moment coupons are sent, I've never had an issue in the past using one a few months later. When I arrived, I noticed the dealership had changed ownership/name since the coupon was issued. My service advisor, Juan, told me he could not accept the coupon because if he did, the discount would come out of his paycheck. He spoke with his manager, Keisha, who confirmed that this was their policy. Whether this is the dealership's policy or not, I found it very disappointing. Customers should not be placed in the middle of a situation where employees feel they have to choose between helping the customer and protecting their own pay. That reflects poorly on management. Unfortunately, this is not my first disappointing experience with the service department. I have continued to use this dealership over the years simply because it is conveniently located near my job. However, I have consistently experienced poor customer service from the service advisors, and there seems to be a constant turnover of service technicians. That leads me to believe the issue is more about management than the employees themselves. For those reasons, I can no longer recommend this dealership's service department. I will be taking my vehicle elsewhere for future maintenance and repairs. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes the changes necessary to improve the customer experience.
