These guys raised the price on a vehicle while us was in the buying process. This is likely due to the fact that their minimum wage workers don't really care if they sell or not and take days to respond. After I made note of this fact, the dude quit responding. Fair enough... I then called the "hot-line" and after hearing my story, lady said "Ok I'll just close this lead and let him know", and I said "that's it" and she said " yep, these are just leads" Well alright. I purchased a certified pre-owned BMW X3 from AutoNation BMW The Woodlands in July. My purchase paperwork listed approximately 4,500 miles. About two weeks later, during a visit to Discount Tire, I learned the vehicle appeared to have closer to ~10,400 miles at the time of sale. That is an odometer discrepancy of roughly 6,000 miles, and I wanted an explanation. I raised the mileage issue with the dealership when the car was brought in after warning lights came on and it had to be towed. I asked for the vehicle's service and mileage records, an explanation of the paperwork, and help with the warning lights and battery issue. Two weeks passed without a clear answer to either concern. I was eventually told that the purchase price already reflected the higher mileage. The pricing comparisons I was sent were from September, although I bought the car in July. That still did not explain why the paperwork I signed listed approximately 4,500 miles as does my title. I was also told the car had been a loaner and that I was its first driver, so I asked for records that would clarify its history. I have not received a satisfactory explanation and finally received some quite bare service records, which I brought to the financial managers attention. Instead of getting to the bottom of it. I have been swept under the rug. The dealership offered a tank of gas, a detail, and BMW merchandise. But yet, he let us drive off from your lot with a low tire and a bad TPMS sensor. They are only $60. What's $60 for someone's safety. Especially a VALUED CUSTOMERS safety. Or a teen drivers safety.
