Shepherd's Pie w gravy, loaded tater tots - chili cheese
    Arielle M.

Got the Epic Pie experience for about $25 which includes a pie, a topping, and a side. We were one of the only people there so service was quick. It's right by the water on by the pier so it's a nice place to sit inside when it's cold and look at the water. Got the Shepard pie w gravy. All pies were premade and they warm it up to order. Our pie came out cold in the middle. The flavors were what you'd expect from peas, carrots and mashed potatoes. Gravy looks rich but not super strong in terms of flavor. Crust was also pretty tasteless overall. Tater tots were hot and chili has beans, tomatoes, peppers, and corn. A nice comfort food. Personally, not a fan.

    Classic Caesar Salad

I visited The Armory for lunch craving just a classic Caesar salad, and this stall seemed to have the best price and size so I decided to try it out. The salad had the perfect amount of dressing tossed with cheese and croutons. My only complaint was how overly seasoned the croutons were- all I could taste was oregano.

Guinness Irish Beef pie (Top) and veggie curry pasties (bottom)

We had the absolute pleasure of meeting Annette, who warmly greeted us with her lovely smile! We couldn't decide between the Steak & Mushroom pie or the Irish Beef Stew, but Annette was very helpful in offering suggestions, so we went with the Irish Meat Stew pie and the veggie curry pasties. Inside was really nice, and outdoor seating was even better! (Minus the loud horn from nearby ships) Food was really delicious! The Irish beef stew pie was very flakey, no undercooked pastry. And the veggies curry pasties came in a pair, which had flavorful curry taste. Overall, I strongly recommend trying this place out!

This place was very run off the mill food court food. The only reason I'm giving this three stars is the fact that the employee helping us and I were vibing and joking. I had asked if they were out of anything before I start ordering and she said they have everything. Then I ordered a banana dessert (if I'm remembering correctly) and that was the only one they didn't have The pastry is nice and flaky, meat was seasoned well, and yet it didn't taste good together. We got one savory and one sweet the sweet peach cobbler had a crust that was difficult, fruit that was undercooked, and sauce that was out of place. Wouldn't go back. Wouldn't fight for this meal.

    The Steak and Mushroom Pie

The Steak and Mushroom pie was perfectly seasoned. The brocoli slaw had too many stems for me, but was crunchy and tasty. My spouse enjoyed the curry lamb pie. The Armory food court is a nice, inside, open space with lots of meal or snack options. Perfect after an afternoon at the Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens.

Great meat pies, I did notice though that they are a bit salty for my liking but still a good quick bite to eat on the go. Tots were nice as well.

This place was good! Sopped by on New Year's Eve. We had Shepherd's Pie, Mac and Cheese, and Cherry Berries!

My "go to" is the most famous twice baked almond croissant. On this visit ordered the "go to" , blueberry ginger scone, ratatouille sandwich, turkey havarti sandwich, banana bread, and some Americanos to go. This is not a sit down cafe so we thoroughly enjoyed them in the parked car. :) Every bite should be savored. Extraordinary!

The croissant was on the crispier side, especially with the almond crumble on top it was a bit too cripsy for me, but I tend to like soft and flakey pastries so it's probably a matter of taste. There was a TON of almond filling in the middle. I enjoyed the taste and texture but it was too much filling for me personally. I would have liked more croissant in my croissant, so to say haha. The chocolate was slightly dark which worked well with the sweet pastry and filling! Overall I enjoyed the croissant but it was a tad too heavy on the filling and cripsy/crunchy for me.

They have so many yummy options, but I settled on a mushroom and Gruyère pastry and an earl grey blueberry cruffin. The mushroom and Gruyère pastry was SO good!!! Buttery flaky layers of dough with a strong earthy mushroom flavor and savory cheese - an absolute umami bomb. We ate it the day after and threw it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes, and it was so delicious. The cruffin was huge! Topped with a delicious light Earl grey cream that wasn't too sweet. It was filled with a blueberry cream and was definitely very filling. There's a lot of sugar coating it, as is standard with cruffins, but it's a nice sweet treat. Definitely coming back for the mushroom and Gruyère pastry and to try their other delicious flavors. Their supreme croissant flavor switches often and we can't wait to try the next one! I originally planned to just grab a coffee and a croissant, but after noticing how popular the mushroom Gruyere croissant seemed, I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. It was incredibly delicious, perfectly filling, and even better when warmed up. The staff member kindly offered to heat it for me, which really elevated the whole experience. While they serve Umbria coffee, which isn't my personal favorite, the food more than made up for it. The service was warm and friendly, and the overall vibe was welcoming. I'll definitely be back to try the mushroom croissant again or maybe explore some of their other pastries next time.

It didn't really have the crispy outside that you really look for in focaccia, as it felt more soft than crunchy. The inside was solid enough though, easily tearable and relatively soft and fluffy. Didn't taste much of the fruit and brie here. Second, the cheddar lye roll wasn't very good. There's something about it that just doesn't work - I think it's the way the cheddar is baked too much into the roll. I like cheddar, but it just tasted weird in this instance. The lye roll also felt too hard. What I liked the best, though, was the savory croissant. Looking at this, you wouldn't be able to tell that its a croissant at all. It's square shaped, and contains filling in the middle like a boat. This had ricotta, snap peas, and chili in the middle. The pastry layers here were very good - being quite flaky and crunchy. The inside also had a good balance of very mild spice and slightly cheesy and sweet flavors. In total, what I had came out to around 15 bucks, which is fine because you do end up with a lot - although no great deals are found here either. Overall, there's some pretty good baked goods, but nothing to write home about. 7.25/10
