I picked up the antenna at Hendricks Chevrolet. While there I inquired what would it cost to have it installed. I was informed it was a 3 hour job at their labor rate, somewhere between $400.00 to $500.00. I then contacted Strosnider Chevrolet. I was told it was a 2 hour job at their labor rate. A friend of mine that owns two import car dealerships suggested I contact Extreme Audio. I called Extreme Audio inquiring if they would install the antenna. If so, how much would it be. I was told they could install it and it would take no more than an hour. I set up the appointment. The work was done quickly. When I went to pick up my vehicle I was told the bill was $66 and some change. I first looked at him like he had four heads. He then said I can charge you more but it took less than an hour, and that is how we do things. We don't over charge. I highly recommend Extreme Audio for your vehicle audio needs. They are straight forward honest people. I won't hesitate to return in the future.

I did end up choosing the most expensive option based on the improvements I wanted to hear with my music. Easy to schedule the appointment for the install. Install was finished in a day. I was going on vacation and needed the car three days later. It was not done--in fact I don't think they started the work until two days after drop off. I told them that I would be out of town until Monday. I received a call on Saturday that I needed to pick the car up. It's a convertible --and when I arrived, it had been sitting out in the parking lot all day with the top off. I figured out why! The top no longer worked. Neither did the driver's side window. I did not figure these things out until I drove the car home. But that was only after dealing with the fact that the mechanic drove my car up on the sidewalk tearing my bumper skirt up. After listening to it crunch as I slowly backed it off, the three guys in the shop proceeded to harass me--telling me they'd just fix it, then telling me my car was a piece of junk. They did nothing! I had to call my insurance. I should have called the police. It took the shop owner over five days to call me. I have yet to be contacted by their insurance. After I took it back in for them to fix the windows and top, they said they couldn't do anything. I could take it to a dealer and pay to get it fixed and they'd cover it if they thought it was due to something they did. So avoid getting a lawyer--and just skip this shop! ****(added 7/29) I'll reply to Andy's response since I can't add to his comment. I'm sure this comment is NOT for me since he didn't contact ME about this. He doesn't really care if my car is repaired or works. He just wants a great review. I don't blame him. But maybe he should train his managers to deal with things when their mechanic wrecks customer's cars. As far as you the customer? I've learned some things. I would just be very careful dealing with car shops. Document everything when you drop it off--mileage, condition. Just like a rental. Andy makes it sound like I'm some kind of crazy woman. Well that's how his managers made me feel too when I complained that my car was up on the damn sidewalk. I should have called the police since I didn't have a witness there to see the condition of the car. I was alone-- and they knew it. Their insurance company sent me a check for $2000 even though the estimate to get the bumper that fits my car is well over $3000. And my top? Mercedes really doesn't know if it's the pump. They don't know. So it worked when I dropped it off. When I picked up my car, the bumper was wrecked, the top didn't work and the driver's side window didn't work. Nothing was said to me that they wouldn't touch the top before I picked it up. Ever. And yes, it did sit outside all day since 10:00 am with the top down. So it's all sketchy. I am now stuck with a car that I can't sell. I'm $1000 short to repair the bumper. So thank you Andy for your reply here on Yelp. As with other "no phone calls," I appreciate the NO follow up to see that I was taken care of. Go away. I know. Go away. I'm sure my convertible will sell right away with that wonderful $700 radio re-wire your shop did!

Not so, for the skilled technician at Extreme Audio. He was able to quickly identify the issue and made the repair under warranty. Not so much as a shop or diagnostic fee. I usually go out of town to get stuff like this done on my car. But I figured I try in state. Seen another guy had what I was planning on getting done to my bike. Asked where he had it done at, he said extreme audio. Crazy thing is, I had already look in to them online. But after he gave me the info on his set up, I said ok cool. Called the shop, asked the normal questions they were answer. I went up there, no bike cuz it rained. Heard a couple of setups and was convinced I was gonna work with them. Now let's talk price, I had no idea bike system would hit you for the prices they do, aftermarket especially. So I still said ok. Made a down payment to hold my appointment. Took about a week to get in cuz of work of course, no fault of theirs. Said they'd been done in a day. Ok, drop bike off, done the same day. Now let's talk about the stares and thumbs up I get. Both are telling me my system is nice. I pull up to the screen, and it's like a bike show vs a meet. Now I don't have the baddest or the greatest, but I can say this, it's loud clear and ppl are dancing n singing as I ride by. I'd have to say overall this will prob be one of the best purchases I'll most likely make for my bike. It's just that great.
