I stopped by Saturday 3/21/2026 to ask for an estimate on getting a sub enclosure built. I was insulted by whoever was working there. I have a very solid mid range sub. I spent $330 dollars on. I was told without getting any information on cost that my sub was flee market. I own multiple vehicles and on more than one of them I've invested over $5000 in audio equipment. This is not that type of project. That said if the enclosure is correctly built there's absolutely nothing wrong with the subwoofer that I bought. I've spent less and I'm sure that this individual would not be able to tell me the brand of subwoofer from hearing the system. Complete lack of professionalism. I can't go lower than a one star. That is too high for the service. The new ownership is trash. They dont follow up calls after having my car for four weeks and then not given me my dash cam that they removed. Six weeks and they say Alpine has not shipped it back. I asked for a tracking number and the owner asked what I wanted him to do. After six weeks I still don't have my dash cam that I paid $400 from their company. Customer Service doesn't exist to them. Auto Express competed the install no charge. He sits in the same front seat all day playing on a laptop with new costumers. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPAN. I HAVE SEEN CARS SET FOR WEEKS. read more

Went to get a carplay installed in my 2016 Rubicon. Anthony really worked to solve problems my truck had with it operating properly. He even upgrading it to get clear reception. However, the old jeep just didn't want it. After several tries, I decided to reinstall the factory old radio. Anthony and his team stayed with to make sure it was programmed properly. Went in for some custom pods for my front doors, "custom" subwoofer box and re wiring basically everything. Spoke with Josh, who is an awesome guy, very communicative and understood what I was looking for. My complaints have no to do with him. The door pods take up the entire lower half of my doors, which looks terrible, they are not flush at all with the rest of the door,l. You can see right through them , half way along the top portion. I had super tweeters installed, which are very deep so I understand having to bring the pods out a bit. But whoever did the molding work, Can't look at the finished product and be proud of it, at least I hope not. The wiring run to the 6 channel amp looks like a rats nest behind my seats, and not a single thing is labeled, making it really annoying to try and reorganize things for myself when I tear into it soon. The subwoofer box , I requested it be as wide as the trunk so it wouldn't be as deep. That didn't happen at all. I know there are box restrictions for tuning purposes, but if your going to completely change the only stipulation I had with the box, maybe call me about it first? If I had known it would be a problem for space, I would've returned and ordered another subwoofer that would accommodate. Now it have the most gigantic box in my trunk, which I'm fine with for the sound. But is screwed into my trunk panels on both sides, effectively ruining really hard to find parts if I'm ever looking to remove my setup. All in all, it sounds good, but I don't wanna show it off to anyone, and have to explain some reason the doors look so janky when people see them. read more

Very Disappointed! I got an estimate from a competitor across the street but the price and wait time was too much. I opted to use Auto Image due in part to the friendly and knowledgeable staff and positive reviews. Unfortunately I am very disappointed with how this turned out. I paid over $1,200 for an in-dash, Apple Car Play capable, radio. When I arrived to pick up my truck the steering wheel controls were inoperative. The sales person was able to take the dash apart and remedy that while I watched. After the sales person left me and went back into the building I quickly learned that there was not volume when trying to make a phone call. I had to go back into the store and ask that they fix the TOO! Why weren't these things checked?? I ended up sitting in the waiting room for some time while this was addressed. On the way home I determined that my rear speakers were not working. So, you probably guessed it, I had to take the truck back the next day. After [again] waiting for the work to be done I learned that my rear speakers would no longer work with this system. WTF! I should have been advised in advance. I would not have had this work done. My wife said that I should have the system taken out and a refund issued. The problem is that my dash has been cut to accommodate the install. Basically I am screwed!! Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. This whole thing is a dumpster fire and I am very disappointed. read more

Their prices are ridiculous. They tried to sell me an Alpine ILX-W650 for $474.00 plus over $300.00 for installation fees. Every other audio shop that sells Alpine sells the same model for $299.00. I ordered the Alpine ILX-W650/ wire harness online for $330.00 and installed it myself. I'm not overpaying for anything or paying someone $300.00 for a basic radio install. This use to be a good shop when it was Audio One but now it's just a crooked audio shop. Tl;dr: $4,000 later, after an install that took a week longer than I was told, I will have to shell out more money to get my stereo fixed by professionals because I have a stereo system that is not installed the way I asked, doesn't always work (like, at all.. sometimes there will be zero sound in my car until I restart it), and I have malfunctioning heated/cooled seats. I chose to have some work done to my new 2015 Challenger SRT. What I wanted was almost a total replacement of the factory system and the addition of a 12" sub in a sealed box, saving the head unit because a lot of functionality in my car is tied to that head unit. After discussing it with Donnie at the shop I decided to go with his suggestion and carry out my installation in phases, with the first phase being the sub and an amp, and the second phase being the replacement of the front end speakers with a three-way component set. I liked Donnie's idea of mounting the tweeter and the midrange speakers in custom speaker pods he would build onto the A-pillar. I also decided to go with JL components for the front end, at his suggestion, after originally wanting to go with Focal. I was told that the first phase, building the sub box into the trunk and installing the amplifier and a processor so I could keep my head-unit, would take three days. I actually live in Maryland now, so I told him to go ahead and take a week with it. A couple days later I texted them and said lets go ahead and do both phases, and asked if that was doable. They said it was doable and gave me a two week timeline. I dropped the car off on a Saturday. That next Friday I checked in to ask about the progress. It was then that they told me they still didn't have the component speakers; they were waiting on a shipment and were just getting started with the first steps, sound deadening. Fine... I asked them to let me know if this would throw them off schedule and was told they expected the components by the next Tuesday and they'd know then. Tuesday comes around and they then tell me that they weren't going to get their shipment until Thursday and then pushed back the install a whole 'nother week... I get there Saturday, this is now three weeks later...and they are still working on the car. I finally get my car at like 7 that night. There's bird crap on it, saw-dust all over the outside and inside of the car. I find out that they had not created speaker pods for my A-pillars at all. Instead they cut holes in my doors and installed the mid-range speakers there, and installed the other parts of the 3-way system in the factory locations. Now, my A-pillars have airbags so speakers couldn't be installed there. Still, they did not check with me about this at all. They just cut a holes in the doors and put the speakers there. If I had been concerned with the resale value of my car that would have been right out the window without me having a say in it at all. The "custom" sub installation looked nothing like the integrated design that had been drawn for me in the beginning. I will post pictures later if I can, but it looks like a simple box in my trunk and a board "attached" to the front of it to make it look somewhat like a wall. I put "attached" in quotations because it's really quite flimsy. Putting even a little bit of pressure on it causes it to flex and separate. It's also all wrapped in the wrong color carpet, and there is no grill over the sub. The $600 sub just sitting there waiting to be punctured by anything I put in the trunk. If I can post a pic you can decide if it looks professional at all. A master volume knob was installed under my steering wheel. I didn't want that but hey, I figured I could find a use for it or just leave it alone. Later I find out that, if I use that volume knob at all the system soundhorrible. I don't mean that relatively. Anyone who heard it, including my parents who are not audiophiles by any stretch, asked what was wrong. Apparently the only way to avoid that horrible sound is to have that knob all the way up, all the time. Not a huge issue in itself, until I realized that all sound in the car is tied to that knob. Now the backup parking sensor beeps are extremely and embarrassingly loud, as are any of the other notification beep and rings the cars makes. Finally, **the stereo doesn't even turn on all the time.** I have no idea how they managed this, but when I turn on the car, the stereo is only functional at all 2/3 of the time. The rest of the time there is complete silence in there (and somehow the heated/vented seats don't work either...). I have to turn the car off and turn it back on for it to be functional. Unfortunately, this shop is not qualified for anything but the basics. (By the way, when I first visited the shop, I was shown pictures of great looking installations. Much later I was on Instagram and found out that those installations were done by a guest installer who is very talented and NOT working there... smh.) read more

Anthony, and Nick, are knowledgeable about their product line and would not sell after market products in which they did not have both full confidence and full back-up support from the manufacturer. I thought I wanted to install a keypad entry system in my car. They spent a lot of time with me discussing my goals, reviewing the conflicts with my existing remote entry system, and researching options. They could not identify a system or solution that meet their standards. High praise for a firm to know their limits and to turn down work. Service starts before the tool box opens. read more

I had been looking and doing research on wheels and tires for over 2 months. It is a big investment and if you do it right you only have 1 chance to do it right. I know there are a lot of people who go into places or shop on line just to kick tires, I was set and ready to pull the trigger on my purchase. I had been talking to, two different online companies in regards to what I was wanting. After a few days of phone calls and emails back in forth with Tire Racks & Wheel Fire which are both online wheel & tire companies which advertise good prices both did not respond to my emails. I called the manufacturer of the wheel I wanted and told him that 2 online companies was not representing there company very well and he gave me 2 local businesses who sold there products and Audio One was one of them. After my very first phone call to Donnie at Audio One I knew I had found the right place. I may have paid a little more in the long run, but customer service is priceless! I had a previous bad experience with remote start on my own vehicle at Audio Express so I was skeptical about the purchase, to say the least. My daughter recently had her first child and, given the miserable weather, she really needed remote start at her home in the city. Our experience with Audio One was really good. They did a great job at explaining to my daughter what she could expect from an after-factory remote start. They were organized and completed the installation within the estimate and on time. I went into Audio One today to get a car stereo installed, since I wanted to replace the old factory one that came with the car which my iPhone won't connect to. They sold me a stereo that met my needs and which I felt was at a reasonable price, the install was done pretty quickly, and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. When it was installed, one of them came out to my car with me to show me how the Bluetooth and other features worked, and when the microphone initially wasn't working, he made sure it got fixed, and made sure I was satisfied with how everything was working before I drove off. I've always bought my car stereos at Best Buy in the past, but am glad I gave this local place a shot instead, as I think they did good, friendly work at a fair price. read more

Ask to speak to Josh Pike he is great with helping if you are not sure what direction you want to go. I went to audio one 4/20/2016 and got my car back on 4/23/2016. I got everything done on my dodge challenger from the car deck, tweeters in the front dash to the subwoofers in the trunk. I had a lot of questions but Josh Pike had a answer for every question and had great ideas. Even when it came to the rims I got there as well. There prices are great. Josh Pike and Will Smith did a great job on my car custom trunk design. I never seen some many people who love and is very passionate about there work. You will feel great getting your car done here they don't rush you I the store. Josh took his time and let me hear the different in all the door 5.25" and rear 6X9s. So I could get a feel of what sound I wanted in my car. The subwoofers JL W6 hits great in my car. I have to say this was the best money I ever spent. Rims, tweeters, door and rear speakers, subwoofers and car deck. A great one stop shop. I spent over $8,000 in this shop in one visit and it was worth every penny. read more

Donnie sold me the wrong tires for my truck and I was only able to get about 15,000 miles out of them before the balancing was so bad because of uneven wearing due to wrong ply when I asked about it he assured me 8 ply tires would be ok pumped to 60 psi. But they indeed were not ok so after 15,000 miles I confronted him at the store he offered new tires at cost which was not fare considering he put the wrong ones on so I declined he said he would call coperate office and see if he could do anything else for me ,but ended up just giving me the runaround. I had a remote start installed in my 2009 Honda Accord in December 2008. At times the remote would loose the program and I would have to go back and have it reprogrammed and at times the employees would really be rude, so eventually I learned to do myself. Well, I had to buy a new remote and I could not get the remote to keep the program and I thought something was wrong with the remote start system,so I had no choice but to go back today. I had to make an appointment and I was told there was a $30.00 charge to check the system out, which was fine. Ben (the service tech) checked the system and could not find anything wrong, he programmed the new remote, which I did not do correctly. I was more then willing to pay the charge but Ben said no they weren't going to charge me. I told him, there was a big difference in service today then it was a few years ago. He told me that there were issues with employees at this location for a few years but the owners have tried to clean this location up. Believe me, Ben and the other employee working couldn't have been any nicer. I use to be nervous about going in there because of the rude employees but all that has changed. This was by far the WORST car Audio place I have ever been too. Went to have a Kicker Amp and Kicker CVR Subwoofer box hooked up. Dealt with Steve Richter and right into the conversation I was asked why I wanted Kicker products because they were so low grade. I told Steve this is what I prefer and I was the customer. I told Steve needed a 150 amp fuse for the Kicker Amplifier. He told me No You don't if anything happens the fuse you have will just blow you just replace it. I explained that Kicker specifies this amp needs this fuse. Steve then proceeded to tell me no again. I also explained I needed 4 gauge power wire and wanted extra so I can maneuver the Subwoofer box around in the back if need be. I told him I also wanted the Capacitor and Amp mounted to the Subwoofer box. Steve kept trying to tell me they would mount these components to the back of the seats. I had to keep telling him no. I was told by Steve it would take 2 1/2 hours for the total process. It took over 5 hours. When I asked Steve how much longer it would take at one point, he told me when the technician is done he will tell me. The entire time Steve kept making negative comments about the stereo products I had which was extremely unprofessional, as well as speak very derogative about Audio Express. I also told him not to disconnect the battery with the Head Unit face plate still on. Needless to say they disconnected the battery while the face plate was still on and caused all my settings to be deleted. Everything I told them I wanted done was ignored and I was told what they were going to do. I decided to give them a second chance and see if they would build a custom Subwoofer box for my Rockford 12inch P3's. I was told it would be $275.00, then I stated I want a Ported box and was told NO YOU DONT then the price jumped to $600.00 and was not guaranteed that it would be a exact fit for my trunk. In turn I left and went to Audio Express who said they could build a custom box for $250.00. So I went with their service. On the day of installation of the new Subwoofer box it was discovered that the Kicker amp should never have been used due to not having the 150 amp fuse. There was not enough 4 gauge power wire to maneuver the box around with and there could have been a real problem with not having the fuse for the amp. In the end I could not hear my new system due to the problems caused by Audio One. That following Monday I went back to Audio One and tried to address the issues with Steve Richter. He kept telling me that I had to make an appointment to address any issues and it would be a while before he could get me in. Finally after I bought up that I personally spoke with Kicker and other audio shops about the fuse Steve blurts out the reason he told me I didn't need the fuse is because he does not have them in stock. I couldn't believe someone would lie like this. I told Steve this needs to be addressed and he said again make an appointment. Yet when I was there waiting that day he had no problem working other customers in. The way he spoke to me was so unprofessional and unacceptable. Thankfully Mike at Audio Express was able to fix the situation and I was more than pleased with Mike, Andy, Paul, and Bob. They all went out of their way to help me after what Audio One did and not to mention made sure my satisfaction was put first. What really has disturbed me is that I sent a letter to the owners of Audio One Jim and Dave and no one has yet to contact me. This has been now over 3 weeks. Very disappointing but shows their in it for the money and not customer satisfaction. read more

He was very polite , took the time to talk to me n worked me into the schedule the next day! Walked in the door he spoke to me by name , worked up a great price , n took my daughters vehicle right back! Was done in about an hour everything was done fast professionally and they even offered me a military discount! Josh even came out to show my daughter how everything worked!
