I picked up the antenna at Hendricks Chevrolet. While there I inquired what would it cost to have it installed. I was informed it was a 3 hour job at their labor rate, somewhere between $400.00 to $500.00. I then contacted Strosnider Chevrolet. I was told it was a 2 hour job at their labor rate. A friend of mine that owns two import car dealerships suggested I contact Extreme Audio. I called Extreme Audio inquiring if they would install the antenna. If so, how much would it be. I was told they could install it and it would take no more than an hour. I set up the appointment. The work was done quickly. When I went to pick up my vehicle I was told the bill was $66 and some change. I first looked at him like he had four heads. He then said I can charge you more but it took less than an hour, and that is how we do things. We don't over charge. I highly recommend Extreme Audio for your vehicle audio needs. They are straight forward honest people. I won't hesitate to return in the future.

He actually does the remote installs for the majority of the Toyota dealerships in Richmond. Not only was the total price (parts + labor) 60% cheaper than the dealership, he was able to install it in my work parking lot and was able to work me into his schedule the same day (within the hour of me calling!). The remote start system works with my current factory Toyota key fob, which was my main concern about going aftermarket; I didn't want an extra fob to have to carry around. A few days later, my left rear light stopped working. Assuming it was a simple bulb issue, I took the car to another auto shop. I was then informed that the problem was due to improperly reinstalled connecting clamps, which had been removed to access the amplifier during the prior service. I contacted Mike at Audio Express to explain the situation. He acknowledged the issue and assured me that I would be reimbursed for the cost of the repair. He stated he would coordinate with upper management and arrange for a reimbursement check. After several weeks without any update, I followed up and was told the matter was still pending. I continued to wait, but after more than three months and multiple attempts to get an update, I have neither received reimbursement nor any further communication. While mistakes can happen, the lack of follow-through and accountability in resolving this issue has been very disappointing.
